Had a fun Father's Day outing with the family here. I try to play golf regularly, but my wife and 2 teenagers do not, and they had just as much fun as I did! Tells you something about the place for sure. Definitely a great addition to the Triad area. Huge place with 2 tiers for golf, plenty of bar and indoor space, restaurant, rooftop area and games. Fun for anyone from the age you can walk, to the age you are still barely walking. The online reservation is a piece of cake, and I highly recommend it. You get a text the day of, then you get another text right before your time slot with the exact bay you're in. On a busy weekend this is great since you avoid the longer check in line and go straight to your bay. During off peak hours this probably isn't necessary, but we avoided a 10+ deep line to check in when we were there. Service was a bit lacking. We had to hunt down our server (or a server when ours was nowhere to be found), to order anything or get refills. The bay next to us was dealing with the same thing. When we did get our orders, it was great and the kids enjoyed the drinks and apps. With a little better server experience, this place would be 5 stars for sure. Regardless, it's an excellent outing to enjoy with friends, family, or a solo practice session for yourself. read more

A couple years later, and the truth of the matter is, I go to Topgolf a lot, but I am judicious about when. When I go on my own, I actually am looking for practice, which would be a financially a stupid decision during peak hours. So since I work from home and my hours are flexible, I take advantage of their cheaper morning and early afternoon rates, especially on Tuesdays when all play is half off. Lately, I have been going a lot with a friend who bought their summer fun pass, and that has been an excellent decision for us both. If you're a Costco member, it's worth it to swing into the Costco down the road and get a gift card that effectively makes the whole experience 25% off. I don't usually eat or drink much when I go. On my own, I usually tell my server if they'll just bring me a water it's safe to ignore me until my time is up. Sometimes I want a tea. However, when I go in a group more often than not the service is exceptionally lacking. Training is also lacking. At one point, they tried to charge a friend of mine for every refill of ginger ale, saying it was a drink from the bar... lol. The manager took care of it, but wow, I mean... it's a soda. Just your life experience should tell you, it's a free refill in the south. There is one older manager who really always seems to be busting his butt to make sure everyone gets taken care of, but he can only do so much. It's not to say that from time to time, we get a really great server that is on top of things, but I would say more than half the time, there are issues. No issue at all with the actual golf experience. Topgolf may be set up for fun, and it is, but you also can get some decent practice in. Toptracer gives you useful information about your shots, distance, ball speed, and flight path. You can hit a lot of balls if your group doesnt spend too much time playing with the screen or watching every shot to the finish. We had a great family outing for Mother's Day that everyone enjoyed. First off, buy the summer pass... it's a great deal. It's also worth the extra $20 to make reservations. We went to go on a Saturday and it was a 4 hour wait to walk in. With the pass you get 2 hours of play for up to 6 total people. Yes it is some limited hours, but we make it a weekend morning event. Definitely check it out. We got to go on the 2nd floor which we feel is nicer than the first floor. Our bay on the second floor had a couch for people who were waiting to Golf while the bay we were in on the first floor only had a bar table. Reservations were easy to make and we were notified via text when everything was ready. Very seamless. We did try some of the food this time. My wife and stepson had the breakfast burrito and we had fries and buffalo chicken dip. The burritos were delicious with the perfect amount of each ingredient. There was plenty of melty cheese and the tortilla was crisp on the outside. The only complaint was the salsa was not a favorite of everyone. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft in the center... a perfect French fry. Could have used more salt but I know that's a personal preference so many places don't put it on them. The buffalo chicken dip had mixed reactions. My wife really liked the creaminess and that it wasn't overly spicy. My daughter and I felt like there wasn't enough chicken in it and it could have been more flavorful. Everyone loved the breadcrumb topping on it. Overall we had a great time and will be coming back just about every weekend this summer. read more

I have been to Topgolf before but not yet at this location until recently. I went with some friends just for fun. We all had a great time and I liked that there were different games you could play. It was a hot day but with the shade and fans, I was comfortable. I ordered the Dirty Dr.Pepper and it was delicious! The flavors were well balanced and it came in a large cup. We did make a reservation for 2 hours and were late (totally my fault, locked my keys in house). Our time did start from the reservation time and we did have to pay for it. I'm just including that so if you do make a reservation, I'd show up promptly on time. As it was my fault I completely understand. I do however think the pricing was a little high just in general. Topgolf Greensboro I've been a Platinum Club Member at Topgolf for several years and have always enjoyed the experience--until my visit on August 2, 2026. What happened that evening at the Greensboro location has made me seriously reconsider continuing my membership. During my time, service was consistently slow and inattentive. My bay host took an unusually long time to respond to basic requests, including nearly 15 minutes just to close out my tab. I also noticed a security guard repeatedly monitoring my area and repositioning himself directly behind my bay without explanation, which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. After receiving my check, I chose not to leave a tip due to the poor service. Shortly afterward, I was approached by multiple staff members and told that someone had reported feeling "intimidated" by me--despite the fact that I had almost no interaction with anyone other than my bay host during my three‑hour visit. As a senior business executive who values professionalism and respectful conduct, this accusation was both surprising and unacceptable. What concerns me most is that no one could explain what behavior supposedly caused this complaint. Being confronted without any clarity or justification was embarrassing and far below the standard I expect from Topgolf. I have already shared a formal complaint with Topgolf's Global Operations Team and hope this location receives the coaching and corrective action it clearly needs. Came here a few days ago with my work team for a work event. We ordered a bunch of food and everybody's seemed to enjoy it. It was a little bit hot, so I would recommend coming later in the evening or dressing more for the activity. We all came from work so we were sweating! It's definitely a vibe though! This was my first experience visiting a top golf. I went as per of a work outting, and had a good time. We rented 4 bays, and had a catered lunch provided. The facility itself is very nice, large and lot of space to spread out in the bays. Comfortable seating, and a full bar to make the time a little more fun. The golf was interesting, and cool to see not only how far you were hitting, but also the speed, it was certainly more impressive than your typical driving range Service was friendly, and attentive, checking back regularly to see if we needed any drinks. Food was ok, definitely not their strong suit, but perhaps if you order individual items instead of full trays, maybe the food quality is better (?), I'm not sure. I'm not really a fan of regular or party golf stuff like this so my review is biased.my previous employer hosted an offsite work meeting here and we had a small conference/guest room reserved for 60 with food and then 2 hr at a couple bays. I did enjoy the buffet options - regular and Caesar salad, queso, a couple meats, rice etc. The service was good too- checking up on refills etc. Once we moved outside, it was pretty hot and I also just didnt want to play any of the games but I had a good time with the teambuilding overall. Drinks, random golf bags, pretentious golfers, the juxtaposition between the demographic of people that go there and work there is blatantly obvious and odd. Anyway, the food is stupid good. Like I am picky ah. Every burger is delicious. Every nacho chip delicious. Every spicy honey pepperoni pizza delicious. Beers cold. Drinks fun. Topgolf had me from hello. I purchased a gift card for my husband during the holidays and we enjoyed a really fun date day. Gamified golf with protected from the elements with food, drinks and a restroom mere steps away was my vision of a golfing good time. I've also hit a few balls for brunch with a girlfriend. The "sure thing" has certainly worked for me and I feel I'm actually getting a pretty decent swing for someone who has never played. I've enjoyed the drinks from the bar, margaritas and blueberry no-hitos have been my go-to so far, as well as the food. It was my first time ever at a Top Golf. Mind you, I have never, ever golfed at all. I was nervous because of that, and my fear of heights. We had a bay on the second level. When you first go in, it's just a cool atmosphere overall. There are plenty of TVs and an awesome full bar. They have drafts, including some local breweries. Lots of sitting space at the bar and tables as well. They have pro shop where you can buy clothing, golf gloves, hats, etc. We had our bay reserved and arrived a few minutes early. They told us we would have to wait about 15 minutes, but we had just enough time to get a beer and it was ready. It was a chilly day, but they have heaters at all of the bays, which was great. We weren't chilly at all. Those with a fear of heights, don't worry. You're not going to fall off the platform and even if you did, they have bets to catch you. There are different games you can do with your group, scoring for hitting into specific areas. Even if you have never golfed before you can do this!! They provide all clubs for you. You have a sever at your bay who keeps a great check on you and will bring anything you need. I had nachos and a turkey club sandwich. Both were delicious. All my son wanted for his 17th birthday was to enjoy a couple of friends with him playing at Topgolf! We made a reservation & it was a great time. I would like to start with our server was really nice & attentive, however for adults she is is not knowledgeable in the bar department & if you have a bar you should have knowledge of all of your products. Also, it seems confusing that one Topgolf does one thing & the other doesn't. If you allow to add alcohol to a beverage at one place you should at all. I have to admit that I was not expecting the quality of delicious food that we got. I had a group of young kids so I ordered Funday Faves Platter which had Cheesy Macaroni Bites, Chicken Sliders, Pretzel Bites & Chips & Salsa which was a great start for a group of teenagers. I usually don't like Macaroni Bites, but these were soo crispy & cheesy, I truly enjoyed them soo much! The pretzel bites with the delicious cheese sauce was great as well. My birthday boys favorite is the Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread, so much that we ended up ordering 2 more of these. We also tried a Hot Honey Pepperoni Flatbread, however on this one I failed to taste the hot honey, it was barely there. This one was ok. One of them ordered chicken tenders & fries & another ordered an All American Burger with Tater Tots, but the burger was sooo red, I don't even know how he ate that burger like that. We have so much fun here and truly love the place, but the service was awful this time and it completely changed our experience. We ordered drinks and an appetizer when our server first came by, and after that, we never saw them again. There is a lounge area if you have to wait for your table. There is also a large bar area. They have a section to pay for t-shirts, hats, golf balls, etc. We had reservations for a group of about 15. We had to pay extra ($30) to have two tables together. Tuesday is the night to go for a discount. The place is very modern. You have to pay a small fee for a membership. Every time you go and put in your number, it will remember you. They have very cool games to play as a group. My group liked Angry Birds and the game where you hit anywhere. There are two levels. We were on the lower level and that was perfectly fine. The menu looks so appetizing. Our food was delicious! I got a burger and it was cooked just right. I requested a side salad versus fries. I was pleased. My son/daughter got chicken tenders and fries. They cleaned their plates. The tots were good. The sundaes looked delicious. They have an extensive adult beverage menu. The waiters and waitresses were very attentive. The manger stopped by to greet us and ask if we were good. They run this place like a well oiled machine. Bathroom was clean. My wife and I had the opportunity to experience topgolf back in July taking advantage of a birthday gift card, When we arrived, we were a little bit early for our reservation, so we waited in the lobby bar and had a drink. The bartender immediately took our drink orders. I went with a pernicious served cold in a cool metallic looking cup and filled to the very top. We were then called up for our reservation right on time. We were brought to our bay and greeted by the bay host that gave us a rundown on the clubs, instructions on the automatic ball dispenser and navigating the touchscreen to choose different game modes as well as a few other general tips for club grip, swinging, etc.. The golf clubs they have for use are decent quality and have a nice feel to them and just nice solid swing. Target zones on the course our designed with bright and visible colors and a nice open layout. It was just easy to see everything and aim for your targets. Going through the different game modes you find some that are more challenging than others and many that are kid and family friendly so there's something for everyone. We had regular follow ups from our server and bay host to see if we needed anything. It was pretty hot that day, but they had large fans circulating air. Throughout our time we did have a server that provided us with menus. I went with the shrimp tacos and they were really good with a nice citrusy and tangy kick to it. Then wrapping everything up it was easy to see your timer and gauge when your bay time was up. Overall was a great experience we had a really good time trying all the different modes and of course got a great workout out of it . This was my first golf experience. I was invited by a friend for a birthday gathering. I arrived around 8:05pm. I knew we were in Bay 102 but didn't see any signs for that area so I waited to ask the assistant. She was pleasant and helpful. I could tell immediately they were really busy which is probably typical for a Saturday night. When I arrived my friends had already ordered their alcoholic beverages. Shortly after arriving, I ordered a lemonade. It took a while to receive my drink and it surprisingly didn't come until after the alcoholic beverages. I think our waitress may have forgotten. When we started the game, it took a while for me to get use to it but it was definitely fun. Shortly after the start of our game, we smelled a very strong marijuana odor. I'm not sure if it was the party next to us or the employee who came from behind our bay. I placed an order for queso and chips. It came out in a reasonable time considering the crowd. It was really good and very rich and creamy. I will preface this, you have to be use to that kinda richness or live close by if you decide to order this. Thankfully, I live close by but I won't order that again if I go back. Overall, this was an okay experience. I enjoyed the golf games and time with friends. However, the way people have talked to me about this place and raved about it; I don't foresee myself spending money like that again for what I experienced on this night. read more

Note: Highlights at the bottom -- I arrived here around 8:20pm on a Saturday (10/12/24) to celebrate friends birthday. They were already there. I ordered a drink (peachy) as soon as I arrived. 20 minutes later, my drink hadn't come. I was told the bar was behind. It came at 8:43pm. At 8:40pm, we ordered food. I got the donut holes. Other parties got chips and dips, and wings. The food came around 9pm. The queso dip was a lot and very tasty. My don't holds were overcooked. I got two insertable fillings. One of them wasn't what I ordered but the waitress was able to give me the correct one. I found the chocolate one to be too runny. The crème and raspberry ones were amazing! I ordered 2nd drink around 9:40pm and it wasn't ready until about 10:10pm. Smh. This is after our time ended at 10pm. If we hadn't already paid the bill, I would've canceled my last drink and left. Since it was paid for, we had to wait. We really enjoyed playing the game and the quality time together to celebrate our friend. For this to be a new location, the service is HORRIBLE! There was no compensation, discussion with a manager, or any type of remedy for the issue. The service from our waitress was also hit and miss. It kinda seemed like she avoided us bc of the wait versus keeping us updated. Also, one of my friends for their regular, non alcoholic beverage AFTER my fiends who ordered alcoholic drinks. That is so no acceptable! With this being a new attraction to the triad, they knew to expect it to be extremely busy. I hope the kinks are able to be worked out to have a better experience next time. The TopGolf just opened and we were excited to try them out. As long as you are there to play & are cool with a little wait for food/drinks, then all will be ok. We checked in for 1 hour in the bay & ordered drinks & apps immediately when we arrived. Drinks took 8-10 min (once they figured out who was waiting on us) and apps took 20-25 min. At this point, we are 1/2 way thru our time period, so we added an additional hour to play & eat. Food was good bar & grille style. The BBQ Bacon Burger was the best on the menu - freshly cooked & larger than the bun. Top Golf has been open for a little bit now in Greensboro and I've been a few times it's been very fun! This time around I got their nachos which were delicious! Some of the best nachos I've had. Service is always quick, I love the fact they have left handed clubs on each floor. The drinks are always delicious as well. Each bay has their own heater which you can control by the clubs. Some of the bays have couches and some have tables. It's always a great spot for a date or just spending some time with friends. The games that are offered you can pick between difficulties. Not being an avid golfer, I was skeptical about spending time at a place that is focused around golf. I was so wrong. I had the best time and barely realized hours had passed when it was abruptly time to head out. Topgolf has different games you can play during your golf experience. It's not just focused on distance and speed. Some games focus on consistency and accuracy, which is something I was mildly good at. The games where we were rewarded with getting the ball in the same area rewarded me well with game points. The food we had was catered by Topgolf, and I was very pleased. We had a variety of items, from sweet to savory and hot to cold. There was something for everyone. The beverages were individual even though our food was a catered buffet, which allowed everyone to get exactly what they wanted. The setup was very comfortable, with a bench seat sectional in each area. I wondered how we would stay warm amidst the frigid temperatures that day, but the ceiling heaters radiated enough heat to the point I could take my jacket off and golf without it. I do wish there was a bit more seating/table space, as the six people in our group made it feel cramped, especially with drinks and plates on the table. There are creatively placed drink holders near the golf club area at each section, so that is a nice touch. I would return to Topgolf for a fun night out or a group event in the future. read more

We only had water and coffee to drink at first. We were not told that we could order soft drinks. No servers came around either. I think they should have a better way for groups to put up their plates rather than stacking them on a random bar and possibly falling. Lunch was good also. I enjoyed the golfing. Food is basic and arrive cold. Service was non existent. I wouldn't actually blame the servers themselves, but rather management. Management needs to hire more servers and train them accordingly. It seems this must be the first job of most of the people working here. The worst part about this place is the music. I've been to Top Golf all over the country. I highly recommend this location. It's very clean and the staff are incredible and the facilities are top notch.
