I have placed a takeout order 3 times for the same thing. Each time the amount of food is smaller and smalle. I am very disappointed

Our server Shekenaka was the rudest server we have ever had!! I wish I could have videoed our experience bc no one would believe how unprofessional and rude these employees are. While leaving we asked for a bag and were yelled out and cussed by 2 different guys in the front. I was called old and several other bad names over a to go bag and that I we only tipped this rude server 3 dollars. When I tried to come back in to confront them they held the door so I couldn't re enter still calling me names. This restaurant should be closed until it's restaffed. The food was delicious. As soon as you walk in you will see the daily specials. There is a full bar that you can sit at as well as a large dining area. It is a very laid back atmosphere. We were seated immediately and host as well as server was very friendly. There is a nice selection of mixed drinks as well as beers. There are a few small dishes but the main attraction are the seafood boil bags. We are not big ballers so we did not get the Fri/Sat "Market Price" lobster tails with snow crabs. We opted for the pound of headless shrimp bag and the pound of mussels. Both come with corn and potatoes. For an up charge, you can add sausage, eggs, or more corn and potatoes. There are different sauces and heat levels. We tried the Crafty house sauce(Will get med next time) and the garlic butter(could have been a bit more garlicky). We were satisfied with both. If you worry about your salt intake then I suggest you get the sauce on the side, this way you avoid your BP going up. Mine went up cause I live on the edge! You will enjoy! read more

Avid crab eater! Lol First time venturing to this location. I first ate from this franchise in Maryland. This location didn't upset on taste and quality/quantity for price point. Especially compared to the other crab locations in Greensboro. Staff was courteous. Sat at the bar. Didn't view other areas of the restaurant. Bartender wasn't familiar with my drink order but still attempted. Restaurant was relatively empty. Food came out fast and correct. Ordered The Boom flavors, extra hot. Flavor was really good. Not too salty. Spice not very spicy. Extra hot was borderline mild. Wouldn't go alone. There wasn't a friendly vibe. None of the banter from the bartender that you expect when sitting alone at a bar restaurant. Seemed as tho the bartender didn't want to be there. Would definitely eat there again if I was in Winston. Eagerly awaiting the opening of the High Point location. read more

We've always come during lunch and it's really been pretty good but we came for dinner this time and the service was nonexistent passed the hostess table. We were sat and got silverware and then... nothing. We sat for 10 minutes and the table that had already been sat and eaten in front of us had their server check on them and then we sat for another 15 minutes and decided to just leave. They were busy so unsure if it's a hostess to waiter miscommunication or what but we will definitely not be back for dinner. I'd consider lunches as it seems they can manage their dead hours pretty well and it's usually pretty empty around then. read more

After a good time at Urban Air I took my youngest son out for a quick dinner 4/9/22. It was pretty empty which was great and the server was really pleasant and accommodating for someone with a younger child. We had to start with appetizers and although there was no appetizer menu per se an order of mozzarella sticks and fried calamari was a great choice. The calamari was nice and crispy and was so good I didn't have much room for my entree. I ordered the weekend special and my son had the fried shrimp and fries from the child menu although I ended up sharing my dinner with him. No dessert for us tonight as there wasn't much variety but overall it was nice and we'd visit again. read more

My waitress needs to be told that the glasses need to stay full and it's ok to have a bad day. Don't be afraid to make a mistake I do almost the time it's ok we are not perfect. The manager should have schooled the waitresses already. My food was blah no flavor at all but next time I will know how to order. My wife got the boil and she was very happy. I kot a taste and it was awesome but my food was plain no salt no spice. I just had a bad visit I will give it another try now I know what to ask for. read more

Ok so let me tell y'all about this restaurant. This small ass bag of food cost me 30+ dollars and it arrived lukewarm to the table. They forgot the sausage. I arrived here at 7:30 pm. My food didn't get to me until 8:50 pm. The waiter was super nice but the kitchen somehow kept "losing" the order. We were told 7 times that's the food is on its way out, and it NEVER CAME! We asked to speak to the manager and they made us wait. I can understand it's opening week but get it together... This has become our go-to place when craving crab legs/sea food boil over the years. I'm giving it 5 stars, because of the 3 crab places I'm aware of in Winston, this one is by far my favorite. Service has always been on point and friendly, no matter who we've had as a server. Tuesday evening and a light crowd. No hostess and as we started to seat ourselves was asked to wait. Seated and given menus. Waitress took drink orders. Excellent choice of different crab entrees and we opted for a fried oyster basket and fried scallop basket, wanting to keep total price under thirty dollars. Something was just not right with the oysters and compared to the fried oysters from the Village Tavern we recently had, they would be a 2 to the VT 10. Would like to have had scallops sautéed but only available fried. Onion rings were huge. Corn on the cob came in plastic bag and was delicious. Good Cajun spice flavor. The food was delicious!!! We order the large seafood platter with headless shrimp. Probably the BEST seafood I have ever eaten! Well worth ever penny! The mussels were HUGE! Everything was cooked perfectly. The BOOM BOOM sauce was amazing too! We will definitely be back soon a new favorite! The service was a little slow. It looked like a ghost town when we arrived, the cashier/hostess was on the phone taking a to go order and one waiter was serving the whole restaurant. My husband and I anxiously awaited the opening of this restaurant. They opened the week of Valentines so that's where we went for our Valentines dinner. The parking lot wasn't packed and we saw several empty tables as we walked to the entrance. There were a lot of ppl waiting to be seated in the lobby but since there were so many open tables we thought it would go pretty fast. We waited for an hour. The items were pricey but comparable to other high end seafood restaurants. For appetizers we ordered 10 hush puppies ($3.25) and a half dozen steamed oysters. The oysters were over cooked and stuck to the shell. Our entree arrived in a giant sealed steam bag with the crab legs shrimp potatoes and corn swimming in sauce. Eating crab legs is messy enough add sauce to that and it gets gross. The shrimp hadn't been peeled either so more mess. If that wasn't bad enough it was extremely overcooked. The shrimp was rubber and the meat in the crab legs was shriveled or non existent. I don't think they understand that even when the food is removed from the heat it continues to cook in that steam. It is interesting to note that at the bottom of the menu is a disclaimer stating that once the food gets to your table they will not issue a refund. That tells me they have had issues with food quality in the past. Our service was great but that was the only thing worth recommending. When we told our server she said that their was a break down in communication with the kitchen because they did not speak English (Chinese, I think). A manager came out but by that time we had already paid our bill and were leaving. There is nothing I can say good about their food. I am very disappointed. Sloooow service, 2nd entree served way after 1st, inattentive staff. At least there was Pernicious on tap. I would have ordered a second but my server, the only one for the entire restaurant, btw, never came back in a timely fashion. I felt bad for her, actually. The average age of the patrons in this restaurant was 60 by my estimate. And yet the music was for the average 18 year old. Really? REALLY? Anyway, I left my server a 20% tip because I get it. First time being in North Carolina and we decided to stop here and eat! The food was amazing I got the boil with 1/2 crab and shrimp with potato and corn in Cajun and garlic sauce! KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR BANK ACCOUNT IF YOU USE A CARD TO PAY!!! Please be warned. The other night my wife and daughter ate at the Crafty Crab in Winston Salem and payed with our debit card. The next day our charge appeared on our bank account and there was also an additional charge from Crafty Crab for even more money. The next day our correct charge went through, but the fraudulent pending charge stayed that way for four full days before it disappeared. In other words, the bank had close to $100.00 of my money tied up because of the wrong charge. My wife spoke to the manager the next day and was told that Crafty Crab could do nothing and that she would have to wait for the pending charge to go away. The manager also said that this type of mistake happens frequently. read more

DO not eat at this establishment! The owners have let the workers take over completely!! They don't care about their customers only their $$$$. My mom went today and ordered the MONDAY SPECIAL and realized that she was overcharged once she received her bill. Server swears there's no "Monday special" but specials are listed on board as you walk in restaurants LMAO ok whatever. After expressing her concern to the manager on duty, he proceeded to call my mother ENTITLED stating that he did not like the way he was being spoken to, after being corrected for an error on behalf of his employee. He then calls 911 on my mother after she refused to pay for a meal that she never ordered in the first place. Oh & their sanitation grade is BELOW a 90. As a manager you would think their customer service would be better, especially considering the mistake was made on behalf of the employee. When i called to express my concern about the incident, MANAGER ON DUTY screamed "IM UP HERE" they want to fight when they're in the wrong haha. My issue is not with the employees themselves, but with management and their lack of professionalism and accountability. Disgusting. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE, ZERO STARS IF I COULD Went here for the first time tonight. Server had mask pulled down the entire time at the table, was unaware of what beers they had on tap because she was not 21 (but was serving guests, so definitely should know what is offered) and had an AirPod in her ears the entire time and after we said we needed a minute proceeded to come back to the table after way too much time. Other servers also had their masks pulled down at other tables, while an emergency mask mandate is in place! Needless to say after more than one issue in a 15 minute time frame we chose to go somewhere else. Safety and guest service should be your number one priority. This restaurant is copying the franchise Red Crab and has a lot of work to do if they want to survive. For example, they ran out of things, use Sams club or some other generic frozen French fries, and are over priced. Service was good, food was not. read more

Since this place was convenient to the pet hospital where we take our animals and we had just dropped the cat for an exam and since we had not had lunch, we decided to try this restaurant. We both love seafood so our appetites were ready for some delicious fare. First let me say that the service was good and the folks friendly. Unfortunately there is not too much else praiseworthy. The gumbo was good, not outstanding, the fried scallop basket was fried well but the scallops were small and very fishy tasting. My husband considered his shrimp basket, adequate. For $45, forty -five dollars, all we can say is we tried it and will not return. Take your money and go to the Seafood Shack in Walkertown or The Coronet in Rural Hall. Looking at some of the earlier reviews, the restaurant had a rough opening. However, on March 1 my wife and I had dinner here. The service was quick, the food arrived hot, and it was delicious. I had the fried catfish with coleslaw, she had the pound of boiled shrimp. Everything was perfection, I think this may become our new favorite restaurant. read more
