Not often a big fan of fancy or upscale restaurants myself, mostly due to the atmosphere and all snoony vibes/feeling they give off. In my option it adds a stiffness to the experience of eating and doesn't let you feel like yourself or relax. However, that is NOT the case for Bonefish grill! While Bonefish Grill is; upscale, elegant, clean and all of their waiters are dressed to the nine. They have a come as you are mentality in which I adore. The food was fantastic and we didn't have to wait long at all to be severed. We even learned of a new entree such as the unicorn fish in which we have never heard of before. Alongside we're delighted to indulging in, impressed that they have a new spin on seafood and other meats. Letting us try new things or new meals prepared otherwise we wouldn't have had the chance too. The food was cooked and seasoned well but it holds no candle to the star of the show our server. Our server Samantha was an absolute delight and would be the sole reason we would wish to come back again. Not only was she swift with getting us everything but made us feel not only like family but closer! She made us feel like we made a new friend. We were excited to see her come back around each time and felt like she had a authentic and general interest in making sure we where enjoying our meals. The icing on the cake was when well..when we almost forgot ours! She dashed out to make sure we got it before leaving. I've never seen such fantastic service like this before, Bonefish Grill knows how to set the bar and reel us in! read more

IYKYK..just in case you don't...4 of us attended Bonefish Grill 5-Course Tequila Cocktail Pairing Dinner. AMAZING!! This was my first experience at one of their events, definitely a first of many to come Served delicious food and keep it coming cocktails! All cocktails featured Pantalones Tequila (disclaimer..Vodka is my drink of choice) but this tequila was good!! Each course was paired with a complimenting cocktail. The dinner was well worth the price of $65.00!! Definitely felt I was NOT cheated!! (See photo of menu for full details )1st course was Fresh Ceviche w/Blazing Britches cocktail, 2nd course was Kickin' Blue Cheese Salad w/Fancy pants cocktail, 3rd course was Shrimp Stack w/Coconut Cutoffs cocktail, 4th course was Cilantro Lime Chilean Sea Bass w/ Blue Jeans cocktail (I am extremely full now‍)but did taste did dish and cocktail, definitely got the remaining dish to go! 5th course was Cinnamon Brown Sugar Crème Brûlée w/ Espresso Chino. I love a good espresso and this one was not disappointing!! This was definitely sunshine on a rainy Thursday!! Our server "T" was amazing and ensured we were well taken care of. All courses were served without waiting extended period of time for the next. The staff was definitely on point!! The restaurant had a very chilled vibe!! read more

Bonefish Monday is a must! The drinks are amazing and perfectly priced. Bailey and Bryce are amazing bartenders who know how to perfectly craft a drink. Zesty pickles are perfectly fried crispy with. Zesty mustard sauce. It doesn't really give mustard vibes but it is also delicious The chargrilled oysters are decent. I would give them a 7/10. They aren't bad but they aren't amazing. The bread that comes with it was very chewy. Honestly it's not needed because there is nothing to soak up I would recommend more garlic butter and seasoning for the oysters on top of the Parmesan which is all you really taste. read more

Came here for dinner while in town. Ordered a beer and served warm bread. Ordered a side Ceaser, grilled Mahi with mashed Potatoes and broccoli. Service was decent and decent ambiance. Actually restaurant was very busy tonight. Salad was ok. Mahi was cooked well. Potatoes and broccoli were good. Pretty consistent among the Bonefish grills. read more

Bonefish has amazing service. I went for a girls night out and it was very cozy. There wasn't a lot of people at this location for the timeframe (5pm) so it was very ideal. We enjoyed great food that was seasoned and cooked to perfection. You can tell the restaurant takes pride with the presentation of the food and facility. Everything was amazing. Also, on Monday's Martinis are 5 dollars! read more

Our server, Tia, was phenomenal! She exemplified first class service. My stop at the bar prior to my group's was pleasant and I was presented with a top-notch martini. For dinner, we were comfortably ensconced in a large booth and even with large groups of market visitors, the noise was absorbed in the intimate ambiance of the dimly lit dining room. In this case, the photos don't do the food justice. I started with Crab corn chowder, which was perfect for a damp, chilly fall evening, but the fish was simply delicious. Perfectly flaky and complimented well by the sautéed spinach and bacon. We migrated back to the bar to close our evening with a nightcap and I left with plans to return soon. read more

I really miss the locations we had in Winston Salem. Was consistently good and the bartenders were great and inventive with the cocktails. I was given a gift card to Bonefish about a week before they closed and have been holding on to it. The big day came when we finally could use it. We were treated by a very friendly hostess who sat us on the bar side of the restaurant which was not a problem and actually where I was hoping. We were treated pretty quickly by the bartender who offered a few meal selections. We followed his recommendations. I had the salmon with crab meat. My wife had the Cod. My meal came out piping hot, slightly overcooked but not dried out. I could really taste the crab but a lot (at least it seamed) was piled on it. He informed that my meal came with 2 sides. Sadly, after tipping out I saw that he charged me for both sides. I got the Brussels and they were just not that good. They seemed to be sitting in too much liquid for too long and were a wet, soggy mess. Neither one of us finished our meal and even our cat refused the fish. The bread and olive oil was good. Perhaps I should have stopped there with the bottle of wine we bought. The restaurant was clean with the exception of the men's bathroom where it appears a bottle of soap exploded and was all over the floor. I let the hostess know. It bothers me a great deal being cheated on a bill and I can only assume knowingly as he manually punched in the charges. Will not return. WATCH YOUR BILL! read more

The service and atmosphere make up for the price. While it is good, I wouldn't say it's to the point where the prices match the level of cuisine. The Lobster Ravioli had me fishing for the taste of lobster, and I'm sad to have missed the oysters. The calamari was great although! read more

The drinks and food are wonderful. This is near the Koury convention center. Very convenient.

I've never had a bad meal at Bonefish Grill and this time was no different. I stopped in for lunch with the ladies and ordered the bang bang shrimp tacos, corn & lump crab chowder, and fried Brussels sprouts. If you love the bang bang shrimp, you'll love the bang bang shrimp tacos. I decided to switch it up since I usually get the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer. The corn & crab chowder was rich and creamy, and you could actually see the crab in the chowder. I hate when there's supposed to be crab in something but you never actually see it. You can't go wrong with fried brussels sprouts, and these sprouts were tossed in a sweet sauce. As a table, we decided to order the toasted pumpkin ravioli because we were all intrigued, and wanted to give it a try. After we each took a ravioli, we were all upset that we didn't have our own orders. Fried ravioli is good on its own, but when you top it with a pepita-parsley garlic sauce, feta cheese, and lemon zest, that completely elevates the dish. My only critique is the service was a little slow although the restaurant was pretty empty. I think they must've been shortstaffed, but our waitress did her best and we appreciated her. read more

My experience was mediocre. We were assigned 4 servers before we were actually served. The 1 that we ended up with was pleasant. We sat in the bar area. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice. I ordered the Cod Imperial with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The Cod was slightly overcooked and the stuffing was a little salty. The garlic mashed potatoes were good. The broccoli was OK. The Sangria was good. My friend had a Ceasar salad with salmon and she said it was good. read more

They were quite busy for a Sunday night. They gave us a 45-60 minute wait, but it ended up being only 20 minutes. We shared the bang bang shrimp appetizer--killer as always. I ordered sirloin and crabcake. The steak was cooked to medium rare perfection. The crab cake was small, but very tasty. The asparagus was thick but very tender. The potatoes were excellent. My wife ordered the fish tacos with the mango salsa. It was outstanding. Our server, Miracle, was attentive without being overbearing. Great visit. Too hungry for pictures of the main course. The server Josue was fantastic. Most of the food was great. I expected good grilled oysters. They were not. They were too lemony and salty. We came here for the land and sea bourbon dinner. Marquis hosted and was amazing. They had prizes galore and $60 was such a great value. The whole team works like a well oiled machine. The dinner came with 2 cocktails and 2 bourbon pours. The first course was a scallop crostini with bacon jam. they accommodated my husband's allergy by giving him shrimp instead. The second course was shrimp over risotto. The risotto was mushy but still fine. The third course was halibut with smashed potatoes and roasted garlic. The halibut was a little dry but still tasty. The last course was cheesecake. So good! What a great selection of bourbon and a personalized experience. I will be back with friends. read more

My husband and I used to dine here frequently. It's been about six months since we were there and decided to eat there today. The menu had changed and prices increased quite a bit, which is OK if the food is good. We were very disappointed. The food was mediocre at best and the service worse. It took about 10 minutes just to order water and another 10 before our server came back to take our food order. There were only 4 other tables seated while we were there so it was not busy at all (which should've been a red flag to us). We left $84 lighter (for 3 people) and still hungry. Sadly, I guess we will be removing Bone Fish from our restaurant choices in the future. read more

Ordered my food to go tonight. Definitely recommend trying the parmesan crusted trout, jasmine rice and broccoli. Trout was so moist, parmesan crust crispy and really delish. Huge portion so half was enough with sides plus came with warm bread loaf with dipping sauce. Also had the shaved Brussel sprout salad but was so full it's in the refrig for lunch and dinner with rest of my yummy trout. And it was still warm after 20 min drive to my hotel by airport. read more

This was my first time going to this location. First I want to say the greeter was very polite and the food was delicious. However, a major a concern is while sitting at the bar I of course was able to observe the bartender making the drinks. He makes a drinks, and the waiter from the floor comes over to take to her table. When she picks it up she notices something is on the glass. She mentioned it to the bartender who at first looks at it and says it's ok. The waitress looks again and points to where something (definitely does not belong in the drink) is stuck to glass. At which point the bartender stick his finger in the glass to grab it out and hands it back to her. She is in complete shock as am I. If he willing to do that in front of staff and customers I can only imagine what he does when no one is looking. The waitress later came up to us (my friend and I) and asked if we saw that and of course we said yes. She said she informed her table and suggested use a straw. But she honestly didn't know how to respond to that situation. I did not order another drink the rest of the night. As much as I enjoy the food and the overall restaurant I cannot recommend this location unfortunately. read more

Dine in | Dinner | $20-30 Bonefish is great chain restaurant to grab dinner on occasions. Beautiful inside and out with pleasant service. The family and I set a reservation for Mother's Day about a week or two in advance, the phone call was a breeze. When we arrived, the wait time was short and we were seated promptly. My go to is their bang bang shrimp so I decided to give the tacos a try-- delicious! Your tacos will be packed with shrimp. Everyone else in my party enjoyed their meals as well. This Bonefish location has REALLY gone downhill ! We arrived for an early dinner with only two other tables seated in the dining room. It took at least 10 minutes before a server came to our table, even though the kitchen was visibly FULL of staff members. Our server was enthusiastic and accommodating but generally lacked basic, fine dining skills. This extended to the GM as well. It was extremely odd how he just stood with his arms crossed, watching his staff run around without offering ANY assistance whatsoever. It took MULTIPLE requests to get a cocktail from the bar (also empty!). Our 'Birthday boy' had to beg for another margarita. At THIS point we beckoned the GM for assistance. Once he finally retrieved the margarita, there was no apology or acknowledgement of the 20 minute delay. He should've 100% comped the drink after waiting in excess of 20 minutes for each beverage. Water refills were something else we had to beg for as well. It seems with two hosts at the front door and VERY few customers coming in, one of them could zip through the dining room with a water pitcher in hand. Being in F & B for 40 years, I routinely organize all used dishes at the end of the table for easier pick up. The GM and the entire staff should be schooled in NEVER walking away from a table without something in your hands. Although the GM passed our table on several occasions there was no effort made to remove the pile of dishes. My empty wine glass sat there from the start of the meal until the finish. Bonefish is "fine dining" for the working class demographic. The level of service needs to meet the price point. There are too many other GREAT dining options in GSO to settle for less. read more

Walked into this place on a Friday night and sat by the door at this interesting shaped table. Because of the AC vent above us it was cold, the waitress immediately sat us at a booth which had opened up. The waitress was one of the nicest waitstaff I've ever met. She was very attentive and incredibly nice to my daughter. She was prompt with bread and drinks. She gave us updates on the status of our entrees. She sets the bar! I had fish tacos which were very good. They gave me 3 tacos with large portions. Mashed potatoes were wonderful as well. My daughter had a steak which they are probably not known for. Clearly there's a lot of delicious seafood choices here (Bang Bang Shrimp, Cod Imperial, Crab Cakes, Dynamite Salmon, Sea Bass, Tuna Poke, etc). However, there are other delicious options like the different, but exceptionally flavorful Lilly's Chicken topped with with goat cheese, spinach & artichokes or the Bone In Pork Chop with Fontina Cheese, Garlic Prosciutto & Mushroom Marsala Wine Sauce we had today. It was thick & juicy with every bite pleasingly tasty. Elijah & the Culinary Staff here are the Best. Thanks Mustang USMC Retired read more

GrubHub order was perfect. Delivery was right on time and food was amazing. Love the family meal deals.

Bang Bang Shrimp was over cooked making the shrimp chewy (this has been a go to appetizer for me). Then the Salmon I ordered very rare, came cooked straight through. Second attempt was cooked as requested, but the Salmon was brought out without any of the sides. When I asked the server where the rest of the food was she said " I was told to bring this out (then pointed at the bartender) and said to ask him. Terrible customer service by this young lady. Manager on duty did take care of the bill, but more important would be some training to get the kitchen staff and food servers to do a better job.
