I want to give this place such a good review but I can't today. Came in for lunch. Every other time we have dined here, service has always been great. Unfortunately today wasn't the case. We were greeted by the bartender, Ali. She was also our server today. The manger seated us and got us sat. We shared a sweet moment about Hello Kitty. I thought it was great of her to take her time to chat with us. Ali got our biscuits out to us and took our drink orders. We knew what we wanted since we checked out the online menu. They started some fabulous daily specials! My husband and I both ordered the Monday special. The Monday special is lobster and shrimp scampi for 20 bucks! Helll ya! We started our meal with a ceaser salad and a cup of clam chowder. Both were great! The soup was hot and tasty! The salad was fresh and nicely dressed, topped with pieces of parm cheese. Our meals came out shortly. Talk about a great lunch! You get 14 pieces of shrimp scampi and a decent sized lobster tail. The shrimp was buttery and salty. The lobster was cooked perfectly! Add some butter and lemon to that bite and it was fantastic! 20 bucks for a lobster/shrimp lunch is great. The only crappy part of this dining experience was the service. I feel like Ali was just there to do her job, no interaction besides "what brings you in today". I noticed she had my husband's soup and salad in her hands. She decided to stop and converse with her co workers at the computers for a minute. I don't mind you kicking it with your co workers but don't be talking over my husband's food. I think it's gross to potentially have your spit on my husband's food. She checked up on us a couple times. Gave us our bill and didn't offer us a box until we were all cashed out. She had me cashed out before I was even asked if I wanted a box. Makes you feel like she was more concerned about the tip than making sure we were taken care of. She didn't leave a good taste in my mouth. I look forward coming to Red Lobster in the future since they have come out with these dope daily specials. Tried the new seafood boil that Red Lobster put out and it was decently a 7/10. They have two types of butter -Cajun or Garlic butter. Both have their own taste. Seafood was fresh and absolutely delicious. If you want more of a flavor, definitely Cajun, although I think they could make it taste more umami. I like garlic so I got that one instead but I did request to have a side of the Cajun as a dipping sauce. Crab queso was amazing. Only feedback is possibly making the sauces more flavorful, but that's my personal preference. We had a great waitress, Alexis and the space was warm and decorated well. read more

Annually we go to the Boise Red Lobster, and this year was no different. We ordered the Lobsterfest Duo at $45 a plate. The service was quick and professional. When I received my order, there was a distinct road kill odor. Now there is road kill odor that happened an hour ago then there is road kill odor that happened last week in 90 degree temperatures. The odor was definitely last weeks road kill. But like a fool, I elected to eat it anyway. You needed a chainsaw to get the grilled split Maine lobster tails wrapped around fresh sea scallops out of the shell and there was very little lobster to enjoy. We paid the $125.00 bill and left. About 3 hours later the food poisoning kicked in and for the next serval days vomiting and diarrhea was the result of this horrible meal. I will never eat at a Red Lobster again even if it was free! read more

We love how family-friendly this restaurant is! The broil was amazing -- especially the new Old Bay flavor, which we absolutely loved. The service was great, and coming in right when they open is always such a fun experience. Our little one had a blast seeing the lobsters and was so excited. The staff was incredibly attentive and went out of their way to make our child feel included and special. My brother & I went to Red Lobster for dinner on 02-13-2026. Our server was Merissa (I apologize if I have misspelled her name), & it was her first day working as a server. We thought Merissa did a wonderful job! She was pleasant, helpful, attentive, & thorough. Although there was a mixup in our food order, it was not Merissa's fault. She took notes when we ordered, so we know she put in the correct order for our food. When we pointed out the mistake, she immediately took steps to get it corrected. Merissa was very attentive. The restaurant was very busy, so it would have been easy for her to forget about checking on us, but she did not forget. She made it a point to check with us several times to see if we needed anything. We were extremely pleased with Merissa & thought she did an excellent job of serving us! read more

Today at 3:00 P.M. this afternoon my wife and I decided to treat ourselves for Valentines Day at the Red lobster on Milwaukee Street in Boise. We have had between 15-20 good meals at this location. We walked in and was asked if we had a reservation. In the last 15 years from daytime to, dinner time we never had to have a reservation. The restaurant was between the lunch and dinner rush with about 30% of the tables in use. We were told because it was Valentines Day it was Reservations only. We were told if we wanted to eat there all we had to do was log in to their APP and make a reservation. If you make your reservation this way, we should have a table for you in about 40 minutes. In a restaurant with about 60% of the tables open, what could be changing in 45 minutes for an open table? We have on a few busy nights had to wait 10-15 minutes. I will answer the question I just asked. "Being treated this way, Your food is good but not that great." Your employee was only doing her job, as you told her to do it. The food is fine. Pricing seems high vs. portion size but it's seafood so it's expensive no matter what. Neither the hostess nor the waiter smiled at any point during dinner. My waiter was mid. It felt like even though my table asked for nothing other than an extra box that we were an annoyance. Dude literally walked off twice without letting me fully respond to "need anything" type questions. We didn't end up needing anything but maybe give everyone at the table a chance to actually answer before making it clear other tables are more important to you. The space was clean. Sometime Red Lobster just hits the spot. Enjoyed the lobster dip, trout and unlimited shrimp meals. And of course the famous cheddar biscuits! The lobster dip has become one of my favorites. Very flavorful with big chunks of lobster. The rainbow trout reminds me of my childhood as I can't get it where I live. Cooked just right. The unlimited shrimp was excellent. Placed a Togo order with uber eats and the menu doesn't offer an option to add Cajun butter to your order. When i called to ask for butter the manager told me they wouldn't add it because it's an up charge which i said was fine but they can't add it to the uber eats order. But when there isn't an option for us to add it on ourselves then how are you suppose to order it and pay for it. Manager was rude and not helpful. You would think a $100 uber eats order they would include butter read more

A good friend of ours is a big Red Lobster fan so we get to go with them quite often to this place. Don't go! Worst place in town. 2 time in a row, had horrible service, took forever and the food was cold.

Don't order carryout from this Red Lobster. The last two orders have been a pain...took twice as long as promised for the most recent one. Pulled up curbside with little kids in the car. I eventually had to go inside to inquire after no one responded to the app check in. Employees were hanging out, sort of clueless. It was a Sunday evening. Not particularly busy. Both orders were also missing something, despite having a receipt with a checklist marked off. With one, it was the toppings for the baked potato. Annoying. With the other, the dessert was missing. I called back to get a refund/gift card on the missing dessert. The manager interrogated me relentlessly to ensure I wasn't trying to scam them out of a dessert, making comments like, I was there, I'm pretty sure they put the cake in your bag. Seriously? Sorry, Mrs. FBI Agent by day, Red Lobster Manager by night, it was a $100 order. I didn't care about the missing dessert, except on principle. But yes, the cake was really missing. read more

Very disappointed lunch today. We ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer and they arrived promptly hot & tasty. Hubby ordered the crab carbonara and it looked delicious and he enjoyed his meal. I ordered the fish & chips and they arrived swimming in grease. Had the cook simply drained them on a paper towel instead of placing the greasy fish atop the fries, the meal may have been salvageable. The waitress was inattentive and only arrived back to clear plates. Considering the cost of dining out, we expected a nicer dining experience and food. Our food is always delicious! Our waitress did all she could to serve us in the best of ways. She earned an A+. She even sat beside me and helped me get as much meat as she could out of my crab leg shells. Plus, she gave us some extra biscuits with our leftovers for home and sweet sauce to go with them. We were thrilled. She is the best!!! The only complaint would be the loud music. Hard to hear one another in the noisy restaurant.
