I've dined here mostly when I was a kid. There was times when the wait was tremendously long and I felt like we were going to die of starvation. (I was 10 years old, cut me some slack.) we had one of those fancy buzzers that told us we were ready to sit and eat. The best thing I've tried from the menu that's still my favorite until this day was the chicken strips with spicy dipping sauce. I always used to order that plate of chicken strips while my parents would order the actual lobster. I've always enjoyed the scenery and atmosphere of Red Lobster the most. The nice sea theme was relaxing and filled my imagination with delight as I saw corrals and sea shells on their walls. They had barrels as well with decorative ropes. They always left a desirable taste for me to come back and experience more. Even created positive memories as a child. I do love this location and hope to come back soon. read more

Came in this evening and was quickly sat at a nice table by myself. There was a slight issue with the lighting above me, as the bulb was dimming slightly here and there, but it didn't become a big deal. Jade was my server, and she was fantastic. She explained a possible delay with my food as they had a very large bday group, which was close to me, i had no issue. She was always on point and made sure i had my refill and checked up with me about my food. She earned a hell of a tip tonight. Keep up the good work, Jade!! read more

Went there the other evening with my Husband and Son for my Husbands Birthday. We haven't been to Red Lobster in about 5 years, but prior to that we would visit 2-6 times a year and the food was always very consistently awesome! This past visit was very disappointing! The atmosphere seemed tense but the service of was on top of our needs. We could however sense some internal unhappiness or frustration with management and the wait staff. Besides the Bacon wrapped Scallops, one of our most favorites, no longer on the menu, the quality has changed and everything is an up-charge. The salads no longer have cheese, cucumber or nicely sliced tomatoes, only lettuce, red onion, grape tomatoes and dressing of choice. My Husband likes to get the salad shrimp added and blue cheese dressing, the shrimp added were regular sized, which isn't bad but they were Cajun grilled, which was very unexpected and the blue cheese seems straight out of a jug and not chunky or tasty like before. We both ordered the Ultimate Feast, mine as is but my Husband likes to get a sirloin steak in place of the lobster tail which used to be straight swap, this time is was a $3 and change up-charge and was extremely small. The Shrimp scampi had some weird taste to it and the crap legs were really dry. Unfortunately, the price of the meal vs. the quality will keep us from ever going back. read more

Damn commercials got Red Lobster on my brain so I just had to go. Then I went there and I remember why I never go here. The food is always bland and tasteless. (besides their biscuits which are awesome!) Everyone there is over 60 and it just an awful experience as a whole. Seriously, go somewhere else and save a lot of loot. read more

I rarely give any business a 1 STAR however tonight Red Lobster went WAY over the line. I placed a delivery order through DoorDash (who their website uses as well). My son is allergic to shrimp and I called to request that the shrimp be removed from the dish. I paid for the shrimp, I wasn't asking for a refund. I was just requesting NO shrimp. The woman said I could not make a change to my order, at all! I explained that at every other restaurant I'm able to make a modification after placing the order. She was more interested in NOT helping then listening to me. In the end she stated, "Well, don't order delivery then!" What a way to encourage me to continue supporting businesses in our community! It was an $87 order. I guess Red Lobster isn't a small business struggling like the rest of us if they can treat their customers this way. I did call and speak to the manager, Paul. I ended up canceling my entire order and going to a local small business that needs the business. Lesson learned! read more

My husband and I took Mom out for a birthday lunch at this Red Lobster. Server was awesome. Food was okay. After providing a Darden gift card to pay the bill, the Manager kindly informed us the balance was zero and that Darden has no customer service outside of normal eastern time zone business hours. The lunch bill still had to be paid so we ultimately spent over $180 for three lunches. I only go to Red Lobster once every few years to get my fix, as I prefer to eat at non-chain restaurants. I was craving their Ultimate Feast, which has fried shrimp, shrimp scampi, a lobster tail and snow crab legs. At $26 the price has only gone up a few bucks since I worked here back in college. I got the Caesar salad and of course the cheddar bay biscuits. The food was excellent. It took about 15 minutes to get seated, but, Linda, my server gave me excellent service once seated. Food needs improvement.... I admire the servers and hostess taking good care of the people as they are in the restaurant, but the food is under seasoned. The fish almost has no salt or other seasonings that are claimed on the menu. My salmon was too dry without seasoning and very little sauce. Please work on this...I like coming to Red Lobster, and this location is better than most in Denver. read more

Food was not up to par. I had several pieces of wilted lettuce in my salad, and the tomatoes tasted rotten. The fried clams had a lot of extra pieces of fried dough. The service was not good, either. Being in Denver you really can't expect much from a chain seafood restaurant. Knowing this before going in is critical to your dining experience. For the price the food was great. We were so pleasantly surprised and happy with the Red Lobster at Alameda. Our server, Ben, made the whole night so great! The food was really good, and as much or more than expected. Ben was so pleasant and accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and satisfied. We've gone to a lot of restaurants in Denver, and Ben has been by far our best server, which is what made our meal so great. A lot can be said for good service! read more

Our server Peter F was outstanding, knew the answers to my ingredient concerns, and the wood-fired salmon, lobster and shrimp was some of the best seafood I have ever had. OK, I admit it, I ate here. Now look, the food really wasn't bad, the service was attentive. They really are trying, and their menu options have improved. If you are willing to pay a little more, and select some of the specialty items and stay away from "fried everything" you may be pleasantly surprised. I had the sockeye salmon, grilled, with rice and a salad, and it was delicious. The Mrs. had the half order of trout and ate every bite. Even though they were extremely busy I have never been treated so nicely. From start to finish they performed excellent customer service. Mike my waiter was really busy but handled it like a pro and made sure we were taken care of and we never went with a empty cup for a minute. Would definitely recommend this location. read more

We have been to red lobster multiple times, and I know better than to order mixed drinks at any chain restaurant because they are always watered down. However was excited to see an old fashioned on the menu at red lobster and since it's a drink made with only bourbon and bitters and some simple syrup, I thought it was a safe bet. Unfortunately it was made with seltzer water, tiny splash of bourbon and a cherry and orange slice. Could not believe it. Service was unbelievably slow, had to ask for silverware 4 times, had to ask for biscuits several times and they only came after dinner was over. Very disappointed. read more

The service here was extra nice. My Mom and I asked to share one of their large meals and had plenty of food. There was no charge involved for the extra plate. The food was delicious. Sooooo this past Friday, 4/15/16, my family laid our 95 year old great grandmother to rest. Following the service, we decided to go and have lunch at Red Lobster, this has been one of our traditional family restaurants as far back as I can remember. We were the first customers in that day and pretty much filled up the back section of the restaurant. We received great, friendly service and our bread came out fresh and hot. We received our soups and salads and awaited our lunch. My husband looked up and saw something small running across the floor. It was a mouse! A tiny, ugly, brown, fast mouse! Now at first I thought wow maybe we should tell them, surely they don't know! So, we grabbed one of our waiters and told her a mouse was running around booth to booth, and in the most artificial voice/tone I've ever heard, she said, "wow, really?" It was then that I figured that they KNEW they had a mouse problem and didn't plan to do anything about it. Maybe 20 - 30 minutes later (as we were eating our lunch, not me though I was disgusted), a manager finally came back and told us that they have "pest control" come out daily and that they are supposed to get them allwtf! Then he mentioned that as soon as we finish our lunch, they would have pest control come back in to catch the mouse We watched this little nasty mouse run booth to booth across the floor as we ate! The most insane thing I've ever experienced. As we were leaving, the front of the restaurant had become full with lunch customers. Now, they hadn't sat anyone in the back section where we were, I'm sure that they were trying to have us leave first to pretend that they were going to have "pest control" come in which I'm not too sure how that would work out with a restaurant full of people up front and pest control in the back trying to catch mice during lunch. More importantly, some things to note here would be that if a tiny mouse was running around in the back of the restaurant where people eat, then they too are most likely back in the kitchen where the food is, in the bathrooms, swimming around in the clam chowder, taking bowel movements in the cheddar bay biscuits mix, etc. I'm not saying that all of the locations have mice or are gross, but I would steer far away from the location in Aurora, Colorado, especially since I'm not too sure if "pest control" ever made it out Thank me later! read more

My first experience at Red Lobster was horrible. My boyfriend and I went for dinner and we were the only ones standing on the line....it took them about 20 minutes to get us a table when half the restaurant was empty. Also, there consumer service was unacceptable because our waiter kept ignoring us and talking to her peers about how horrible consumers were;it took us a long time to pay our bill since no one was there to take it so it was longer than what it took to get our food. The food was alright, pretty plain so it was expensive for the quality it has. Nonetheless, It was a disappointing experience. :( read more

Hard to believe we embarked on 2 chain restaurants in one week but with Mother's Day upon us and accommodating the family it was in order. As far as chain restaurants go, I simply have a place in my heart for this red lobster. They always do their best to treat you well and have great service every time we have been in. The food was ok, I wouldn't go again though, it wasn't that the fish wasn't fresh, but it was all jsut so greasy. The dessert was fabulous though, warm cookie and ice cream, yum! We visited yesterday. It was a ZERO STARS. There were three couples. No one could start their food. I ordered the Lobster Lovers Dream. The lobster was like rubber, the Brussels sprouts still had the stem attached. This kept them from cooking properly. Cindi had the Ultimate feast, and so did two other individuals. All had 2 and 1/2 crab legs, approximately 2 to 3 ounces of lobster, and shrimp scampi. All the lobster was rubber. Everyone's clarified butter was COLD. The shrimp scampi was cold.Three individuals had the stuffed baked potato. Just for the chef's info a baked potato is 400 degrees for 1 hour to 1hour and 30 minutes. When you pay extra for butter. You probably want BUTTER! One Lady and one Gentleman ordered cod. Cod is a white flaky fish. It looked like white cardboard. Everyone was complaining . Three of us wanted a salad with ranch dressing. No ranch. Ranch dressing is one of the most popular dressing g in the U.S.A. is it a bad chef or manager or both. Well I do not care we will not be back. We were all a separate tables. No one know each other before, but all of us have had good food before. Hopefully this will save someone else our collective experience. It really was not pleasant! The food was mediocre. The service was HORRIBLE. For starters we waited 45 minutes to be seated when we had already made reservations. Then they messed up our order and had to remake our food. On top of that, we received NO apology from management for the poor service. We did not get our refills on drinks until we asked for them.
