One of the most unique parts of the visit was learning that the person seated at the table next to us was the previous owner. She is still a regular customer, and her photo is proudly displayed on the wall in the restaurant. That says a lot about the history, loyalty, and character of this place. I also accidentally left my credit card behind and did not realize it until about an hour and a half later. I called the restaurant, and the management immediately helped resolve the issue. They kindly arranged to mail it to my home in Los Angeles, and I have now received it safely. That level of honesty and customer care is rare. Considering that other downtown locations either are on a one-way street, are in busier areas or have less parking availability, the location is relatively convenient. Once past the "host hall," the interior is 80% modern, 20% retro. Filled with booths, clear lanes and a good mix of seating options. We sat in the large "L" shaped booth & our server was with us almost immediately (there were only 2 other tables sat at the time). Of all the menus I've observed, MisFits may have the most efficient offerings ever. There's not tons of variety but it didn't feel limited either. Classic American Favorites, Only. While our server was wrapping up with the other 2 tables, I reluctantly decided on the 1/2 Sandwich (The Wifey) 1/2 Soup (Rotisserie Chicken Tortilla Soup) with Sweet Potato Fries while my friend ordered the B.B.
