So I ordered shrimp with lobster sauce crispy duck, kung pao chicken, calamari, spicy pork chop, Won Tong soup for 2, hot tea and a sake for two. Overall the food was very fresh and good. We have patronized this restaurant for the past 11 years and always enjoyed their food. Lately we have seen the food slowly slip downhill, no more salad offered, no crispy won tons, and smaller portions. We have seen the menu prices raised twice in the last 4-5 months with most lunch items now over $10.00. Still somewhat of a bargain but some items are lacking what we are used to. My husband brought me some Wor Wonton soup from here yesterday along with some egg rolls since I am sick. The soup was very good, on par with what I have usually gotten with Chinese take out. My only complaint is that the picture on their website showed that it had shrimp in it but my soup did not contain any shrimp.. but oh well. But man those egg rolls were amazing! When I first walked in I noticed how nice the interior was in this restaurant, the staff greeted me with a smile and the food came out in a timely manner. I love how they give you flakey wonton chips and a dipping sauce to start out with. I got the hot and sour soup that was pretty good and the Sizzling Pan Fried Noodle Plate Chef's Special. There wasn't too much flavor in the noodle plate, I prefer spicy so maybe that's what it was missing. Overall, a great spot for a sit Chinese take out restaurant. I had been wanting to come try Red Ginger for a long time but never had the chance until last week. I wanted to eat something with beef so I looked at the menu and the beef and broccoli sounded good so I figured why not! at the same time I also got the kids meal teriyaki chicken and chicken dumplings. I highly recommend chicken dumpling and the teriyaki chicken, Def not the rice because it doesn't taste like anything. As for beef with broccoli, I definitely do not recommend. I really don't understand the foil wrapped chicken business, but we ordered a broccoli beef and sweet and sour chicken plate for our main entrees and they were both delicious. There's always a few coupons in the mail and my business office loves ordering their lunch specials. They do not serve the wonton chips anymore. Red Ginger is located in the strip mall on the north east corner of Winchester and Margarita across Margarita from Winco/McDonalds. The restaurant is very clean and cozy. Servers always have their hair pulled back and clean, they are always smiling and happy to see you. My sister lives in Harveston and this is our new regular place. We have been in very late and close to closing time and they greet us with all smiles and wait patiently while we enjoy our time! We have tried many dishes and they have all been delicious. The fried rice is always perfect, tofu dishes have tons of flavor, crunchy noodle dishes come sizzling tableside! I can't say enough about Red Ginger, can't wait to go back this week! read more

I'm from the East Coast and this Chinese Restaurant reminds me of "East Coast Style" Chinese food. I really loved the Wontons, Hot and Sour Soup, and General Chow (Tso) Chicken they have here. Food just taste so freaking amazing. This is my second time here. I've had great experiences both times I have come. Can't say enough about how delicious the food is. Just left and most likely will not return. We have been here a few times and it's never had that wow factor at all. The food comes out warmish and the flavor is not that great. Kind of blan. The biggest issue I had was that the salt and pepper chicken wings had hair all inside the wings. Not human hair. Chicken hair that was not plucked all the way.
