The food was better, the people were better, you didn't constantly get ripped off and you got what you orded. I just came from there after ordering a grilled ham and cheese sandwitch (double decker) and what I got was kid sized grilled cheese sandwitch....no ham, no texas toast, no double stack. And now you can't get small breakfast burritos (because their new system doesn't work that way)... This place just lost a long time customer. Enough of those add up and maybe they'll notice.

This shop had a very large menu with nothing made fresh. The only customers were over 80 years old. The "steak strips" tasted like chopped up hamburger patties and were badly cooked and that is supposedly their specialty and at the top of the menu. I am surprised to see that it is still open every time I drive by given how little attention it is given by its owners.

Most vendors were unprepared for the crowd and ran out of food. I wasn't even mad that I stood in line for 2 hours and got no food because I learned more about food truck locations and menus throughout Clovis and figured I'd just go try them on my own. Fast-forward to November 2019 Yo Mama's Food Truck had a Grand Opening. This was my second chance at trying their food but, dang, what a disappointment. The fries I got were cold and oversalted. The burger was so dry and flavorless and on a really sad patty. It reminded me of public school cafeteria food. I got a mild case of gastroenteritis afterward. They make a good, buttery grilled cheese though that my son enjoyed. They have burritos, tacos, hot dogs, nachos...all kinds of stuff. Perhaps this stuff is better? I don't know but I'm too scared to go back and try.

The food is absolutely delicious--our go-to orders are the asada taco plates, asada nachos, and asada fries. Every single bite is packed with flavor, and the red sauce takes it to the next level. Add a squeeze of fresh lime, and it's like Christmas in your mouth! They also offer drinks sometimes, and we always grab their horchata--it's perfect! During the winter, they had a warm chocolate milk mixed with horchata that was the ultimate holiday treat. I can't say enough about this place. The youngest said the spicy pork ($10.99) was really good.
