The brisket itself was…read moregood, we tried the Two Meat Combo plus an extra side of brisket on one visit, but everything else about the experience fell short. During the dinner hour, the restaurant had only about three occupied tables, yet service was still dreadful. On one visit, we sat outside and after 15 minutes hadn't even had an initial visit from our server, so we went back inside just to check if we'd been forgotten. The restaurant was generally clean, at least. The bigger issue: after our second visit, we discovered our credit card had been charged twice for the same amount. We didn't catch it until we were back home (out of state). When I called to resolve it, the restaurant told me I'd need to come in person, not practical once you're out of state. I followed up by email with management requesting a refund. And despite them admitting to me in writing of the error correspondence from them ceased before resolution, so I ended up having to dispute the duplicate charge with my credit card company.

Twice we've ordered chips with queso and twice it never made it to the table and both times when I cancelled the appetizer the server got upset. But isn't an appetizer before your meal not after the meal is served. So today we debated going back but thought we'd give it the benefit of the doubt. We were seated and wait for some time before we were approached by a server the restaurant was busy so no big deal. Got our drink order and again ordered the chips and queso appetizer. I wasn't real hungry so I ordered the Texas wings. Waited and waited for appetizers but again no show. Then the server brings out our food. I advised her to cancel the appetizer. The chicken looked good. I bit into a small drummy it tasted weird then I looked and it was bloody I checked three other of the wings and all were raw inside. So I decided to just eat my fries and not make a scene but my wife informed the server who saw the raw chicken and said she would go get her manager. We waited and waited and no manager came to our table. The server returned to the table while I was in the bathroom and informed my wife she removed the wings from our ticket. My wife asked where is the manager and the server said do you want me to get him. My wife told the server you were going to get him earlier what happened. At that point with frustration building we just got our ticket and paid minus the wings. (Of course I'm not paying for food I couldn't consume because it was under cooked) The girl at the counter was very apologetic and said she'll inform the manager. I told my frustration that the manager doesn't have the common courtesy to come out and speak to us. I asked the his name and was advised Devonte. I will no longer dine at this restaurant and will advise family, friends and anyone who will listen about the poor service at this Cotton Patch. Sad I've been told not to eat there but I liked the atmosphere and usually the food and service is good. I'll have to find another location for dinner I have pictures but it won't let me post them.

We had to ask for our entrees and when they finally came out all of them were cold to the touch. Another family that came in about 20 minutes after us got their food at the same time (they had 7 in their party). The quality has been significantly decreasing each time we come. Highly recommend you go somewhere else. One last thing. We were there for an hour and never once were able to get a drink refill.

The food was all so delicious. I did not order enough steamed dumplings ($6.50 for 6 pieces). Quickly I was reprimanded by both of my girls for this. But then I was quickly redeemed for sharing a few bites of my medium-spiced beef bulgogi ($17.99). The girls thought it was a bit on the spicy side, but we all agreed the flavor was absolutely amazing. Comforting. Both girls enjoyed a Korean ramen entree. The youngest said the spicy pork ($10.99) was really good. The oldest opted for mild spice with beef ($10.99) - and while she ate most of it, it took her a while because she doesn't tolerate spicy foods well. Nothing was done to try and compensate me for this mistake (no discount applied or comped added items like Dominoes would have). If their quality was way better or their prices way cheeper it wouldn't matter but they aren't. Overall if you leave a local establishment thinking you'd rather have gotten Dominoes it's not a good sign. It's not horrible so 3 instead of 2 stars but overall it's not great and for this kind of pizza you may as well go with the more consistent option in Dominoes ‍ Oh also they don't make their own ranch, they use Newman's brand.
