When traveling, I always look for something local. This place has a great old school drive-in vibe. I had the Steak Finger plate. It came with gravy for the country fried steak fingers, buttered toast, amazing fries, and coleslaw that was just like you might find in the true south. Being from Georgia and finding a meal like this in New Mexico was awesome. They even have Coke products, so that was a huge bonus. And you get a free Ice-cream cone if you eat your meal on site. Lastly, the service was helpful, responsive, and quick for such a small business. read more

When I go to New Mexico from Texas to find my medicine, this is a great old school drive-in to pick up some munchies for my trip back home. Pull up, wait for the attendant to come to your car and take the order, and within minutes, they'll bring you exactly what you asked for. I like their onion rings, and especially when I request that the rings spend an extra few seconds in the hot fryer. They Chris up nicely and are so so so delicious. read more

I was in Clovis on a work trip and I happened upon Twin Cronnie during lunch. It is an old time drive in and I thought I would give it a try. I was greeted by a friendly car hop who took my order for a green chile cheeseburger, fries, and a corn dog. When my burger arrived it was hot off the grill. The cheese had melted into the patty and chile and was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. It was garnished with lettuce, tomato, and mustard. Onto the fries that had a light batter coating and were crisp and tasty. Definitely a great combination. Next I tried the corn dog. After having the burger and fries I was hoping the corn dog would be just as good. The corn dog was a little on the greasy side and wasn't crispy like I had hoped but it wasn't terrible. I definitely enjoyed my meal overall and would come back for the awesome chile cheeseburger and fries. read more

A great, local old-fashioned Drive-In. No indoor seating. Twin cronies is my go-to coke or iced tea stop. Happy hour from 3-5pm. Good breakfast burritos and hamburgers. Hot sauce is great. Soft serve ice cream is good, but not as good as the ice cream at the other local Drive-In in town. Mexican food is typical of the local Mex-American here. Impossible for a vegan to eat here, but that's normal in Clovis New Mexico. Can get a pretty awesome breakfast burrito with green chilies onions tomatoes if you're a vegetarian. read more

Very disappointing. Bad food, adequate service. Would not recommend and will probably not go back. When asked, the waitress did not know if the hot dogs are beef or pork, only that "they come on a delivery truck in a package." Ordered a foot long hot dog plain and dry with ketchup and mustard on the side. Received a chili dog topped with onions and mustard. We did get a replacement pretty quickly. The hot dog (which is pork, or a blend that is primarily pork, btw) was mediocre. I ate 1 bite. Jalapeno cheese bites were undercooked and desperately needed salt. Mini funnel cake was so overcooked I nearly broke a tooth. The onion rings were amazing. Really great. These are thick batter dipped sweet onions and I loved them. read more

I understand it's COVID but we are also spending our hard earned money, and the disrespect these people done last night was unnecessary! The cook took the trash out while cooking and went straight back to the grill. (No hand wash) Then to make it worse we asked for fries and got a mix of fries and okra.So that was the LAST time I'd ever eat there. read more

Food was, mostly, edible. Overall experience was bad. Chili cheese fries had a total of 10 fries with about a pound of chili substance. Tasted ok but it was not warm and the cheese was just a dried blob. Not the, alleged, "awesome" chili fries a source told me they'd be. Peanut Butter Milk Shake is alright. It tasted like real peanuts but could have been smoother. Chicken Fingers weren't all that. I couldn't get over the awful scent of the yellow-tinged gravy that accompanied the Chicken Fingers. I'm seriously confused about why this place is always packed with cars. I've been perpetually disappointed with the classic drive-ins in Clovis. I used to love this place but lately, every time I've gone there am overcharged by car hops!!! I understand they work off tips but you're not supposed to set your own tip! I got small item & large drink during happy hour & she said total was $8, and when questioned she said prices went up. I had the same item the week before & total was almost $3 less?????? Out of town family love this place but when they heard about prices not sure they want to go back either. Management needs to wake up cuz they're running off your business!!!! read more

Best Drive-In ever! I love Twin Croonies. I always go by there when I am in town. I have had a little of everything, guess my favorite is the green chili chalupa- it rocks! I have also had the twin croonie, hamburger, enchilada and always get a shake. The servers are awesome and it is great to see a family owned place be in business for so long. This is the sort of place you would see on Diners, Dives and Drive-Thrus (I actually suggested it to the show). read more

I would visit this place often when I was younger and I was never disappointed. I have very good memories here as a kid. The last few times we've came here, the car hop was very unfriendly and tonight this one was exceptionally unfriendly. The food is just ok. I was excited to go to this place as it gets such good reviews. I am really hoping I hit it on a off day because we had a pretty yucky experience. The food was cold and also seemed to have been sitting around for a bit before we ate it. We ordered two burgers and enchiladas. It made me sad because I would much prefer to go to a local business, but I am not sure we will ever go back here. The only saving grace here are the shakes and malts. My wife and I are becoming quite the drive-in afficianados on our drives around Texas and New Mexico (with kids and a dog in the car most of the time, you can't do a sit-down place if it's hot, and it usually is). Anyway, Twin Cronnie is great. Not sure what a Cronnie is, but the burgers are tasty and the peanut butter milkshakes are made with local Portales/Clovis peanuts, and are awesome. The service is by carhop, which is always cool, and the place looks like it's right out of the 1950s. I recommend the tots as well. I pity the fool who'd rather eat at a chain restaurant! read more
