The chicken pieces are juicy and cut just right in size. I sat inside, place was clean, as soon as people left building the table was cleaned. There is plenty of seating, a little chilly, bathrooms very clean. The bowl was perfect, if your trying to be on the healthier side, I suggest chicken bowl with double meat, double vegis (especially cabbage) and easy on rice. That's what ill have next time. Thank you for the yummy bowl. Oh I forgot to mention the good tea, had unsweetened tea, Loved it.

The server , Sara, was friendly open and just a nice person. This place reminded me of when I was a kid having brunch with real people and real food. I don't think they changed their style in a while. It fits in it's located as a cattlemen style diner. It's very much where locals and strangers are welcome and can enjoy a good meal. I had the western omelette with biscuits and gravy on side. My hubby had the #3 eggs over hard with sausage hash browns and biscuits and gravy. It was a little awkward to get there due to construction but well worth it!! We will definitely be back on our next trip.

*** great roadside diner in northeastern New Mexico ***…read more After checking out a local pumpkin patch and corn maze on 10.12.2025, my daughters and I were quite famished. My youngest let me try her chicken enchiladas ($12.99) - pretty good! The other girl had a cheeseburger which she seemed to enjoy ($13.49). My heart was set on the "Cook's Favorite Con Queso" ($15.99) - "A hamburger steak topped with our own homemade green chili cheese sauce, sprinkled with cheddar cheese served with rice, beans, red chili salsa and basket of tostadas." The green chili cheese sauce was amazingly hearty and mild with spice. I did not want to stop eating it. Lol. I was not, however, a fan of the red chili salsa at all. It tasted too much like Pace Picante Sauce to me. The service was really great. Plenty of free parking. To date, they only had a sign that said "Restaurant" on the outside, so it was hard to tell if we were at the right place. No wonder my work crew always eats here when they travel to the Clovis area. Seems like a good option for breakfast too. RATING BREAKDOWN Food: 4 | Service: 5 | Ambiance: 4| Price: 4
