If you are looking for true authentic Mexican (Mexico) food items you have discovered gold! They have candy, and canned goods and a huge deli, and even a very impressive butcher shop, and bakery! They don't fool around at this place they are dedicated to providing authentic goods and services at an extreme level! This place believes and practices Azteca Service! They recently opened a full service restaurant next door called Servicio Azteca This has quickly grown into standing room only at lunch! My opinion is that the local people have learned that they make fresh tortillas both corn and flour on site daily all from scratch!!! NO preservatives ! And they sell them by the dozen. I always buy a few dozen to take back to Arizona. I have personally witnessed over twenty people standing in line with 10-20 dozen each. Honestly it's a little strange until you have tasted one then you realize the craze! Now it's not easy to find, so I'm gonna leave you a few tortilla crumbs to help you find it! It is directly behind the long john silvers that is on highway 84 just a few blocks east of prince street and state highway 84. When you get to long john silvers turn south on maple street and then your there. You may even see semi tractor trucks parked in the street with truckers news spreads fast Now I should mention this, don't be surprised that there is no more parking, I'm telling you it is an extremely popular.

Service here is pretty much no fuss. You come in, you pay for your pizza and you get out. Small talk is at minimum and if you come by to take out your pizza you'll notice drivers constantly coming in and out and the cashier people tending to calls, not much eye contact is made and If you do it just feels weird. In terms of atmosphere this place has a bit more soul than your run of the mill fast pizza joint. You still have a tiny waiting area, but it isn't as generic and you see cool tomato art of their logo in random places I got a large supreme pizza, the loaded taters and some snappy wings. The loaded taters are potato wedges with some cheese and bacon, served with ketchup they were decent not overly dry and some of the cheese got a bit burnt but those bits are actually some of the better pieces. The wings where reletively small but had decent flavor. They had a honey mustard base something you don't normally see from chains. They had a sweet tang and you could definitely taste the mustard and it wasn't overbearing. Low point for the wings was crispiness. Even straight from the kitchen they seemed soggy. The centerpiece of it all was the pizza. It reminded me of a Costco pizza in terms of taste. The ingredients where fresh atleast 90% least some of them. I was a bit upset when I saw canned mushroom though. I'm a huge mushroom fan and seeing the canned stuff on a pizza made it slightly sad. It was a good pie though, lots of good savory flavor and a decent sized pizza for Large compared with the competition. Strangely a large amount of their pies have ranch as a base, guess it's really hot in the area to lather up the stuff, but ranch and pizza have always been good. Additionally you get a little cup of garlic butter like the competition at Papa John's. For $27.60 I got a large supreme with 10 wings and the loaded taters with a deal. Price point I would say is slightly above average for a pizza joint but can still can compete with the competition. Overall If you want some hometown flavor and are willing to pay up a bit, this place wouldn't be half bad. You get a decent pie and what you are paying for are the little extras like the pastas, sandwiches mustard wings and other extras that you would normally not be able to get if you went to a fast pizza place. They also place a decent amount of toppings into their pizza compared to other places. Don't forget to snap a pic and revel in the glory of pizza goodness while you Nosh away dipping pizza in ranch and garlic butter.

The produce section (all the way to the right hand side if you are facing the back of the store) was small but had plenty of variety of both fruits and vegetables. We ended up purchasing cucumbers that were 2 for $1 since it was on sale. I liked the gourmet cheese section with the variety of cheeses available (which is right by the produce section). I also liked the wine and beer section, which was nice to see local beers and wines made here in New Mexico (which I ended up picking up a bottle of New Mexico made Moscato to celebrate my upcoming birthday). We ended up purchasing a few other items in the store, which pricing seemed to be fair for what they were. One thing that I do want to make mention is that we both thought it was kind of weird to see 2 (separate) people in the store shopping without wearing a mask. I know that an employee saw these people but did not bother to tell them (even though there is a sign by the entrance to inform customers that they are required to wear a mask before entering). But other than that, we had a good experience on this shopping trip and would definitely be a regular if we lived in this area.
