Mama Mia!!! Now that's a fresh pizza !! Snappy's pizza is a hometown favorite serving a solid pie and some interesting interpretations on the Italian favorite. Service here is pretty much no fuss. You come in, you pay for your pizza and you get out. Small talk is at minimum and if you come by to take out your pizza you'll notice drivers constantly coming in and out and the cashier people tending to calls, not much eye contact is made and If you do it just feels weird. In terms of atmosphere this place has a bit more soul than your run of the mill fast pizza joint. You still have a tiny waiting area, but it isn't as generic and you see cool tomato art of their logo in random places I got a large supreme pizza, the loaded taters and some snappy wings. The loaded taters are potato wedges with some cheese and bacon, served with ketchup they were decent not overly dry and some of the cheese got a bit burnt but those bits are actually some of the better pieces. The wings where reletively small but had decent flavor. They had a honey mustard base something you don't normally see from chains. They had a sweet tang and you could definitely taste the mustard and it wasn't overbearing. Low point for the wings was crispiness. Even straight from the kitchen they seemed soggy. The centerpiece of it all was the pizza. It reminded me of a Costco pizza in terms of taste. The ingredients where fresh atleast 90% least some of them. I was a bit upset when I saw canned mushroom though. I'm a huge mushroom fan and seeing the canned stuff on a pizza made it slightly sad. It was a good pie though, lots of good savory flavor and a decent sized pizza for Large compared with the competition. Strangely a large amount of their pies have ranch as a base, guess it's really hot in the area to lather up the stuff, but ranch and pizza have always been good. Additionally you get a little cup of garlic butter like the competition at Papa John's. For $27.60 I got a large supreme with 10 wings and the loaded taters with a deal. Price point I would say is slightly above average for a pizza joint but can still can compete with the competition. Overall If you want some hometown flavor and are willing to pay up a bit, this place wouldn't be half bad. You get a decent pie and what you are paying for are the little extras like the pastas, sandwiches mustard wings and other extras that you would normally not be able to get if you went to a fast pizza place. They also place a decent amount of toppings into their pizza compared to other places. Don't forget to snap a pic and revel in the glory of pizza goodness while you Nosh away dipping pizza in ranch and garlic butter. read more

This pizza place was recommended by local hotel. The calzone was good and so was the salad. The antipasto had lots of lettuce and toppings as well as the grilled chicken salad. They provided plastic forks and dressing and croutons on the side. The only issue was delivery as they don't have many drivers so it took an hour or so. But they were very responsive and friendly it may have just been a pizza Monday March night for pizza. read more

This restaurant feels like a local place trying to compete with dominoes which is never a good idea because you'll never be able to beat their prices and base level quality at the same time. For local pizza places to be successful they have to win the quality and customer service battle and this establishment does neither. Quality wise the food is ok but not great and overall their base red sauce is lacking in flavor. To make matters worse they messed up my order by giving one of my pizzas to someone else so when I arrived they had to remake it while my other pizza sat there and got cold. Nothing was done to try and compensate me for this mistake (no discount applied or comped added items like Dominoes would have). If their quality was way better or their prices way cheeper it wouldn't matter but they aren't. Overall if you leave a local establishment thinking you'd rather have gotten Dominoes it's not a good sign. It's not horrible so 3 instead of 2 stars but overall it's not great and for this kind of pizza you may as well go with the more consistent option in Dominoes ‍ Oh also they don't make their own ranch, they use Newman's brand. Another negative strike. read more

Ordered 2 large pizzas. Pizza crust is very nice and a little chewy How I like it. Toppings and sauce were tasty. Nice staff. Pizza was ready to go when we got We will be back! read more

The baked potato pizza is AMAZING!!! Really good prices as well, highly recommend over a chain

I am in Clovis on business. It's the last night we were there. Had to get the family something quick. I made a call to Snappy Tomato and a friendly voice answered. I ordered a regular crust pizza and a side garlic butter with cheese smaller pizza. The food was hot and ready when we arrived for the take out. I did notice the pizza was was thin crust. No worries, we all liked the pizza. The topping were thinly slices of Tomato and other veggies with sparse meat. Overall, it's takeout pizza. Good job to the girl answering the phone, she was really helpful. read more

Snappy's consistently delivers an incredible dining experience. I can't recommend the vegetarian pizza enough; it's my absolute favorite! Every order I've received has been crafted with top-notch ingredients. Plus, the food arrives promptly and piping hot every time. Give them a chance - you won't be disappointed! Okay, I had to remove a star because my last order was cold and greasy. This is a first and I am hoping a one off. read more

The pizza here is normally great but today I decided I'd try the Philly Cheese Sub . Sorry but I've had better out of a vending machine. The bread was grease soaked, the maotzrella was overcooked, no flavors, and I felt like I was in a 70s commercial asking " where's the beef " . read more

Very clean and friendly employees food was just as ordered and was good definitely recommend

The thin crust pizza was fantastic! We ordered a Hawaiian with added bacon and onion, as well as a small meat lover's pizza. Both were delicious! read more

Ordered one cheese one pepperoni. Two basic hard to mess up pizzas. Disappointed by the lack of sauce and lack of cheese on this pizza's. It was terribly dry. With a name like Snappy Tomato I had looked forward to a sauce that was more tomato forward and juicy. Not even sure if asking for extra sauce and cheese would correct the situation. read more

I absolutely love their cauliflower pizza crust. I am gluten free and I never get sick on it. It is delicious!

This is the pizza spot in Clovis. Great pizza and great service. I always get pepperoni pizza and breadsticks. Basic but always hits the spot. read more

Boneless wings with bbq sauce...and you get disgusting chicken nuggets with the sauce in a cup. No one should be paying $8 for this. The pizza also tasted like it was rebaked. The delivery guy also had no mask on and came up to the door to delivery it. This place should be ashamed of itself! A true disappointment to a local establishment. Never ordering from this place ever again. read more

Good pizza, not great, not bad, just a good solid pizza. I like thicker crust, but this was good. Great vegetables on the veggie pizza.

Other than the price, really no reason to get pizza here. Soggy and greasy but can get a big pizza for pretty cheap.

The pizza was ok, not spectacular, but not everything needs to be spectacular. This is a few steps ahead of Cici's or Chuck E Cheese pizza, with definitely fresher ingredients. This probably wouldn't be my first choice for pizza in Clovis, but we would order here again. read more

The employees have always been nice, the food has always been yummy and fresh, and it's the closest thing to papa Johns around here!! The garlic sauce is very good read more

The food was decent , the thin cut pizza was cooked well and the ingredients were tasty. The bread sticks were ok nothing to brag about . The only gripe is with the pizza and the cheeses used on the Alfredo style pizza. Overall, eye test good and taste was average, this maybe a good 3rd option if nothing else. read more

We are new to Clovis, and wanted to try Snappy Tomato out. Very impressed! They got our order right (we like light sauce, and can't say how many places don't get that right), the crust was delicious, the toppings were fresh. Overall, a great experience and we plan on ordering from them again and again! read more

I was in Clovis met some awesome folks...ordered Snappy Tomato Pizza for 3 days! SMILE Large #2 - Two topping pizza- plenty of savory Pepperoni & Canadian Bacon, bbq wings - juicy, yummy & delicious calzone-plenty in the inside & a little toasted in the outside with this out of this world dough! The driver was very customer service & when I called my order in - they were quick to pointed out ways how I could order and save $$$ by ordering the pizza & wings together. My kind of place. read more

Since I don't expect everyone to read this entire review, I'll talk about the food first. The pizza itself was pathetic. Very little flavor on the large supreme pizza and the sausage was obviously previously frozen and disgusting. I don't even think there was pepperoni on it. The sauce tasted like spaghetti sauce from a can and the vegetables were raw, like they were added as an afterthought after the undercooked dough was taken out of the oven. Having this pizza delivered was a miserable experience all around. First, don't think you're getting some cool, local pizza place just because you've never heard of it; it's a shitty franchise just like all your other pizza options here in Clovis. When the pizza arrived, not only was the order incorrect, but it was a much more expensive pizza. The delivery lady didn't have any ability to reduce the price so I talked to the manager and offered to pay the price I had been quoted over the phone. No. Of course not. I don't know why I would expect any thing more than the absolutely terrible and atrocious customer service every resident of Clovis has come to expect from any sort of dining experience here. The manager came down 2 dollars on the price of the pizza that had been delivered after I turned down the offer of waiting another 45 minutes for a full price pizza. If you've gotten this far, I hope you've decided to eat somewhere else. read more

Tasty pizza that is promptly delivered with a reliable online ordering system - what else do you want from a pizza place? Their speciality pizzas are somewhat creative and good (I especially like the BBQ Hawaiian), the pizza has been correct the 100 times I've ordered from there, and delivery is generally very prompt (approximately 30 minutes). Definitely my recommended pizza place for Clovis, NM read more

Was looking for something local pizza wise and stopped here. Got a regular crust cheese pizza and thin crust supreme and a philly cheese sandwich. Sandwich was not good at all it looked good but it was a no. Kids loved the cheese pizza but they are kids. Supreme pizza was ok, i think they use canned mushrooms which is not cool at all. Customer service was excellent but otherwise i would just rather order pizza hut or dominos and know what to expect. read more

We ordered thin crust pizza and it was amazing, service was fast despite the snowy weather. Would definitely go again!

Snappy has quickly become our pizza of choice without question! If you've never tried their loaded baked potato pizza treat yourself. I'd be willing to bet that you'll order it again. Ordering online walk-in or call in doesn't matter this place offers excellent customer service unless you need to use a bathroom while you're waiting for your pizza your screwed. Could have been a five star review but my GF had to walk her seven year old over to IHOP to use the restroom. read more

This was the best pizza we have had in over a year. We were in town for business and decided to try it. We are so glad we did. Can't wait to get back into Clovis to try this again. Do yourself a flavor and stop in a get a slice! read more

Outstanding pizza the crust is perfect. I love the fast service.

"Snappy" is an appropriate designation for this spot's no fuss pizza ordering and pick-up. With no seating and service that can be described as laconic, Snappy Tomato is definitely meant for take-out or delivery only. I had many questions when I ordered and the dude on the telephone, while not knowledgeable, was nice and patient. We ended up ordering the Special: One two-topping large (pepperoni and mushroom) with an order of 6 bone-in wings (some type of Asian Sweet Red). It cost nearly $20, so this might not be the place to go if you want to save a buck. I liked the meaty, tasty wings and the wing sauce more than the pizza. The pizza was like a nod to the New York style crust; foldable and crisp at the edge with good hole structure. Thinner would have been better, but that is a matter of personal preference and thin is an option here. The tomato sauce has a sweet flavor. The pizza comes with garlic butter too, so, if you hate it, just drench it. Garlic butter can make anything taste good, just ask anyone who has eaten escargot. Overall, not a bad place for a pie. read more

I tried to order online and for some reason the order would not process with the coupon code I was given on the coupon by Snappy Tomato. I called in and the girl that answered was very polite. She was unable to answer my my question or fix the problem. She asked if I could stand by while she got some advise from Josh, the manager on duty. I could over hear him say if the online ordering isn't working he could do nothing to help. The girl even asked him if she could do anything to help and he said no. He didn't even ask if I had the coupon code or if he could do anything further to assist. She was frustrated because she could get help from her manager who was rude. I order pizza from them because they serve very good food but I won't use them from now on if they aren't willing to try to fix or remedy the situation. I'll go back to Domino's Pizza. read more

Pizza is usually great, I wish they still delivered on base but I don't mind picking up. I've only had one problem where when I picked up all the garlic sauces were exploded all over the pizza. The management was super nice though and offered us a replacement and told us to keep the one that was ruined! Best pizza in town. read more

My wife and I ordered two calzones and a 13 pc. order of the red chili wings, when we got home the wings were whole chicken legs and wings and not breaded at all, just pieces of chicken with the skin exposed that they ran through an oven and then poured red chili sauce over, it was disgusting. The chicken was watery and was pulled like rubber. The calzones would have been ok if the cheese was melted but it wasn't. We called for a refund on the wings and were told to call the next day when the manager was there as she would be the person to refund us. We called the next day and spoke with the Manager Kayla and she said, with a rude attitude, that she would have to talk to THE OWNER about giving a refund. I told her that was ridiculous and that the owner pays her as manager to handle situations like this and that she was being absurd to even mention such. We didn't get our $23 refund and that's ok, we just won't be giving them our business anymore. I wouldn't recommend Snappy Tomato at all to anyone looking for pizza or wings. Rude staff, terrible food. read more

It was a late Sunday night and we were starving after driving for 11 hours so we were excited for some pizza. As we perused the menu, our eyes caught the beautiful sight of the Loaded Potato pizza. When we ordered it, we had no idea what journey we were about to embark upon. It didn't take long for them to make our pizzas, but as we drove back to our motel, our excitement grew as the smells engulfed the cab or our uhaul. We immediately opened the pizza box and took our first bites....it was amazing! The flavors exploded in our mouth and we pathetic in our excitement over a pizza. It was by far the highlight of our day and night and even into the next few days. My brother continues to search for a comparable Loaded Potato pizza or even the option! Unfortunately, Clovis is so far away from San Francisco so the search continues to match Snappy Tomatoes! Also, the guy behind the counter was awesome and just the friendly pizza guy! read more
