Went to Blake's with some family from South Texas who have never heard of Blake's. I explained the NM style burger and told them "hey this is what NM is about" green chile however you can get it". We ordered our food and it came out fairly quick, 4 lotta burgers with 2 onion rings and 2 seasoned fries. Burgers were cooked great and super juicy. Fries and rings were super crunchy and cooked perfect. Everyone was impressed with their first green chile burger experience. Service was great. Oh and on the way out we spotted the horchata shake on a sign and ordered one for the road and i must say it was amazing. I got the NM Style Burger with seasoned fries, Blake's sauce, and a chocolate milkshake. Honestly, the burger was better than expected, and I really liked the milkshake. Only thing would be the service was ok. When I asked about the difference between medium and large for the meal, the person said "just medium and large". Also, if I had not queried about the price, I would've been charged for a drink I didn't order. Overall, better than Whataburger for sure. Would definitely recommend for a quality fast food hamburger. read more

The service was kinda slow, the seasoned fries were great. The green Chile cheeseburgers were mediocre. Too much mayo, too little lettuce & tomato, and the buns were not toasted on the grill, they were heated in the microwave & I'm pretty sure the hamburger patties were cooked WAY ahead of time. Here you can still find the tastiest, original Lota Burger! It's been years since we were able to taste the Lota Burgers that made them so popular. Service was great, restaurant clean. My husband brought home lunch today, he ordered green chili cheese burgers and fries and paid for these items. When we started to eat he said the beef patty is really thin. I took a bite and asked him if his had chili as mine did not. His didn't either. The fries were adequate, however, none of the fool even resembled the burgers and fries we were used to getting at the Blake's in Albuquerque. This is not our first disappointing meal from the Clovis store, at first we gave the staff some time to be trained to meet the standard of service found at the other locations, however, this store has been in operation for several months so there should be no excuses for this lack of professionalism. read more

Stopped in after a long day of driving. The service was top notch! The restaurant was clean and well maintained. The food was superior and the New Mexico style LOTA Burger was full of flavor and juicy. The seasoned fries were fresh and flavorful and the onion rings were like pillows in my mouth. The only issue was the toilet would not flush and that was pretty gross to walk into. read more

Overpriced, flavorless, cheap quality food and disappointing. I also waited OVER AN HOUR in the drive-thru, I can't believe how slow this place was. You're better off going to McDonalds for better price and dare I say flavors. NO MILITARY DISCOUNT OFFERED HERE. Lotaburger meal: $9.89. ATTN OWNERS: you need more manpower too meet the volume of rush hour, invest money in your ingredients and reformulate your menu. No prices listed for combos, very inconvenient for customers. I would've given 3 1/2 stars however that was not an option. We ordered the Frito pie which was very good but had very few Fritos and the Whataburger combo with cheese and bacon only there wasn't any bacon both tasted good the service was really good will give them another shot at some point. read more

The fries are amazing! Closest thing to Checkers and Rally's fries. Probably the best thing on their menu. The chicken sandwich wasn't so good. They use chicken strips to make the sandwich. One of my strips was small the other was big. The bread wasn't a brioche bun just a white bun slightly toasted. For Clovis New Mexico I would eat this maybe once a month. But for anywhere else larger city I would eat this maybe once a year. read more

I didn't have a great experience last time I came here, chalked it up to grand opening bugs. Came back today, only to have a drive through window warrior have me move to a parking space when there was absolutely no one behind me! I get having to move forward to let someone with a smaller order get theirs, but I ordered one stinking burrito. They need to change their sign from drive thru to order and park, or do what Sonic has done, make ordering parking spots. Will not be back. read more

I would only recommend getting Entrees here. A burger or maybe some chicken strips but definitely not the fries or onion rings. Very rare that they're fresh. They could at least reheat the fries a little before handing them out if they're not gonna make a fresh batch. read more

Today I visited the Clovis location very excited because I have not had Blake's in 2 years. I ordered three items off the menu, One item I requested with no sauce. The order was repeated and repeated correctly, sauce on the side. I proceeded to the window to pay for my meal, I handed the Klerk a 20 dollar bill and he grabs it with two fingers in the 17mph wind. He hands me my change and requests I pull forward to the second space to wait for my food. I then ask for ketchup but was rudely cut off by the gentleman shutting the window in my face. I waited to get his attention and he opens the window and I ask again "can I please have some ketchup in the bag?". He then rolls his eyes, nods his head and shuts the window again. I wait for my three items for another 10 minutes and they are presented. I then ask the gentleman that delivered them to my car if the sauce was on the side and he said no. I then politely ask if they could just remake the one item. He takes the bag back and fixes the mistake. Call me crazy but asking for ketchup for fries should not be an inconvenience. In my 10 years of working customer service in numerous realms, I got two things from this visit. The older gentleman that had a sour attitude taking the orders nearly turned me away from returning, how ever, the younger gentleman that so kindly helped me with no problem in fixing the First Gentleman's mistake, he will be the reason for my next visit. Hopefully when I return my visit will be a 10 from the start to finish. read more

First visit, used drive thru. Franchise was quiet for a Saturday afternoon at 1:30. Prices are gourmet and they missed on the burger count, had to return for the missing burger. Have to say the food was tasty (burger and onion rings) but service means something especially at these prices. Good luck. read more

Our seasoned fries were overcooked and tough, the Dr. Pepper was flat, and the iced tea did not have enough ice in the cup to make the tea cold. Hopefully it will get better.
