Stopped by here while passing through town. They have a very good beer list. Usually I drink porters but there's was bourbon aged and I didn't want to be completely kicked for the night, so I went with other choices. All very good. Staff behind the bar was very friendly and efficient. There quiz games on the TVs and other things to keep a solo traveler like myself occupied. I had the grilled chicken wrap with ranch and the potato wedges, all very good. Decent crowd for a Friday night. I look forward to stopping here again the next time I'm in town. read more

Yelp says they allow dogs. They do not. We're on a road trip with our dog hoping to stop for a bite and a beer.

We came for burgers and beer. Had meatloaf and mashed potatoes yum. The Dark horse ale was silky good. read more

Bandolero Brewery - The bar and brewing vat distilling towers - Breweries Near Me - Clovis, New Mexico

This is the kind or place you would expect to find in a large city like Denver or Saint Louis but to find an establishment of this size and quality in a small town like Clovis is truly surprising. Large indoor dining space that had a very aesthetically pleasing set up with the brewing tanks visible from the front. The home brewed ales were fantastic and the food was delicious! Open for lunch and dinner this is a local favorite that anyone wanting a great sit down experience should enjoy. Very family friendly, at least for lunch time. read more

This is an unexpected gem in Clovis! The beer is amazing! Service is great! And the food was good and made from fresh ingredients. We will be back! read more

Very nice waiter good serv The food was cold and very salty. Wine overpriced Very disappointing read more

It's really loud inside, the service wasn't great and the food was worse than that. We came in when it was raining, it seemed they were having staffing issues and were short handed. It took probably 15 minutes before we even got menus. The food was nothing to write home about. We got chips and queso, reminded me on canned Rico's that wasn't even heated up. I make better queso at home. The prices were way too high considering it was like eating at a school cafeteria. read more

First time here. There is parking in front of and side of building. Very open and spacious. Staff was friendly. They had a lot of beer options and about 5 ciders to choose from. Side salad with blue cheese dressing was very good. Buffalo chicken sandwich was very spicy but good! read more

Highly recommend this place! There are not a ton of places that stand out to me in Clovis let alone New Mexico. The food was great and the beer was even better. My only complaint is that they desperately need a happy hour. Business looked good, but it would be even better with any type of specials. We would have stayed longer if they had them. Still a great place though. I hope to never be back in Clovis, but if I do, this is my first stop. read more

come here for the beer -- not the food it is a massive after thought. The beer is good, the menu states "Swiss" and you get fake cheese.

We stopped in there for lunch a few days ago and the food was great, the service was also great with very friendly staff who went above and beyond making us feel welcomed. read more

Ok. so here is the deal. I am traveling to Miami from Scottsdale and I stopped to visit my family in Clovis NM. This was a sleepy little farmer and rancher type town when I grew up here extremly conservative!!! x100 if you can feel me. Much to my surprise it is now a completely mature small city. With many new restraunts and breweries!! Hey progress right!! But I still know Clovis so I wasn't not expecting to write a review about a downtown brewery. After spending some quality time with my family I managed to sneak away to experience this place. Now keep in mind I live in Scottsdale and have for 38 years after growing up here. I am not a huge fan of craft beers but I am a fan of beer ;). I asked the bar tender what the fave was he recommended two - a blond ale and blueberry something can't remember now. Both were beyond fantastic. Now I never want a non crafted beer ever. I urge you to try one omg. But wait theres more. I order the chips and queso thinking this is going to be safe and just ok. Ummmm NO after placing my entree order i reordered more. Lets just get down to the rating because I want to drive back and get more!!!! 10 out of 10 best quest dip ever. Fresh, with just the perfect touch of Hatch Chile (side note i wait for the fall harvest in Hatch and order 100 pounds of that and Lemitar so I know my chile).Go in buy a gallon it's not going to be enough! Now I didn't know what to order so I ordered one of each of the tacos so I could taste test all the varities. I got brisket, shrimp, beef. all were great I'll give the shrimp 10 out of 10 the beef 8 out of 10 and the brisket 8.2 out of 10. The service was way beyond normal the bar tender spoke to me 80 percent of time guiding my selections. Now I heard while I was ther that someone had given a poor review about the queso. That's a straight up hater with all due respect. Cause I'm Jones's for more and I'm full!. It was great and I am extremly picky. I can't wait for my return trip to experince this again! read more

Took over an hr to get our food in a nearly empty restaurant. When asked about the charges on our bill, the ride manager couldn't care less and snapped at us, no military discount, we don't substitute, and walked away. Would not recommend or go back. read more

Beers were just what they were supposed to be. Food was very good. No issues here. I would definitely visit again if we were in the area.

Great Food, large menu, happy Waitresses, clean and cool building, not to mention their great craft beer! What more could a person want!!

The beer was terrific....what a great selection. And the rehabbed facility in downtown Clovis is worth the visit alone. Cheerful, happy staff as well. What a find thanks to other reviewers. Give this place a try! read more

I love to go to Bandaleros. I am a regular customer. They have the Best Craft beer in Town. The food and the Beer is always consistent. I highly recommend that you give them a try. read more

Nice open eating area with lots of empty tables yet we were seated right next to the only other dinners. Our waitress started out friendly but after we got our food she disappeared. The hamburgers were very dry, over cooked but seemed more like precooked (frozen?) burgers that were grilled. As the waitress ran past our table and asked how I food was she didn't stay to hear our response which was the burgers are super dry, her reply I will note that. Despite the burger being dry it was tasty (the burger combos they have all sounded great) and the bun held together well. Fries were warm and good. read more

Was in town for business and decided to stop here for lunch. The onion spurs was so perfectly crunchy and the dipping sauce was spot on. Went perfectly with a flight of assorted brews. Ordered the relleno for lunch which was absolutely amazing!!! The service was great and my server helped me choose the right beer/food. The atmosphere was very nice and loved that they have cornhole boards to play if you're with friends. Overall great place, I would highly recommend! read more

Bandolero Brewery - Breweries Near Me - Clovis, New Mexico

Nice dining room space designed around a brewpub showcasing their microbrewery with a creative menu. I had the Dark Horse (bourbon barrel aged stout) that was pleasantly drinkable (or two). While not a milk stout it has enough balance to be sip-able, but not heavy on the bourbon notes at 9.3%. I tried the Brisket Relleños which comes with Spanish rice and a ranch style pinto beans, which I would highly recommend. I wouldn't say the brisket is smokehouse BBQ house-level, but more pulled and good for the meal. The Chiles were not poblano peppers but a smaller chile but the breading and taste were very very nice--my only complaint: there wasn't a third! Super friendly and attentive serving staff that knows the menu well and can make recommendations. read more

Welllll I tried their wings again for a second time because I was in the area. Everyone always says how good their wings are. Nope. They were dry, soggy. Tasted old. I thought they were going to be juicy and crispy. Wrong! Smh... The guy that took my order was friendly and professional. The Spicy Cheese Curds were for sure spicy but they were good! I'd get them again. read more

Beer is fine; food is below average and the owner gets a . Wait staff is nice but it's not enough for me to look at an owner who seems mad about having paying customers. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. read more

Great place to eat. Good beer and I like the variety on the menu! Nice location down town.

Lots of good beers to choose from, nice menu of food. It's a good stop in Clovis, NM.

Great atmosphere! I love the decorations. Beer is not bad, it is definitely getting better as time goes on. They do have my favorite Buffalo chicken sandwich in town. read more

The beer was good. The one shinning part of this establishment. Hostess was poorly organized. We had to get cleaner from the hostess station to clean the past food off the table Ourselves. The service was really slow and poor at best. The tacos were ok, but the other food was cold and the pasta was without flavor. If I were to go back I would sit at the bar and avoid the rest of what the establishment try's to offer. They are failing. read more

I absolutely love this place. One of my favorite places to eat in town. Great food and beer. I love the entire vibe and the live musicians they have on weekends. Great menu! The food is always very good and it's a cool atmosphere! I will definitely come back.

Went by during a slow time. I ordered a plain green chili cheeseburger with chili on the side. The burger came with veggies on the side and no cheese. The waitress said she thought that's what I meant. We didn't get any refills. The food was alright but not what we expected. The server could benefit from some training. read more

Super cool vibe and good food! I got the Ace in the Hole burger with fries and it was great. Glad to have this spot in Clovis!

NOT a good experience. It took 50 minutes to get our food. There were a few tables that had come in and ordered after us. One came in about 15-20 minutes after us, received their food, ate, paid and left well before our food came out. It took so long that we had to have it brought to us in To-Go boxes. The Brisket Rellenos were ok, but turned out not to be worth the 50 minute wait. The burgers were cold and dry. The Nachos were soggy. The owner gave the excuse of having new staff. Not sure if or when I will go back. read more
