Combination shrimp fried rice
Juan D.

Seafood lovers, this one's for you! Good seafood at a quality price? Yeah this is the place for you! I've been coming here for about two years now and it never disappoints! The service is always on point! The people that work there are the kind that love coming to work! The place is always clean and nice, they have good music playing and when it's baseball time they have the game on! Boiled seafood and combo rice are my go-to's. If you're ever near the 290 area make sure you stop by and get your seafood craving satisfied.

This was my first time here. I came to have dinner with my friends before we went to go see the show. Our waitress' name was Nikki. She helped answer our questions about the menu and gave recommendations on the drink. I started off with the steamed oysters with their special juicy sauce. It was amazing.Their sauce could be bottled. I also got their boil, where I got scallops, mussles and clams. Their drink was okay. It was big but it only had a little bit of alcohol in it. I sought also got a small catfish in fries. To go, their catfish was on point, and I think their fries would have been good if I had eaten them hot. I would definitely come back. They were not super crowded. Had plenty of seating and the prices were very reasonable.

So we were wanting crawfish and this wasn't the first place we went to but ended up coming here cause the wait was too long at the other place and I'm here to say, I'm happy we ended up here! Nikki was our server and she was giving it her best to keep up with our needs. There were times we had to ask about certain things but in the end we got what we needed. If you are ordering crawfish, make sure you ask if they are fresh live or frozen. Nikki said we were getting fresh however as I made my way through the bag, I could tell some were frozen as they were a little on the mushy side (where the struggle to get them out the shell wasn't worth the fight). We got steamed oysters with the juicy sauce and I honestly could have made a meal out of this as we also got raw oysters and I preferred the steamed ones. The raw oysters were a little gritty for me, it didn't come with horse radish or cocktail sauce or crackers. But while we are here, let's talk about the juicy sauce . . . Just get it!! You will want to dip EVERYTHING in it. A friend got the fried fish, tried it, delicious. Another friend got the crab and shrimp, I don't think she said a word the whole time as she was busy eating. Another friend got the scallops and mussels and she was pleased with her meal. Seriously, this was a great alternative to where we planned on going to and we all left full. As I said, there were a few hiccups (a meal ordered but not delivered, having to ask for things more than once, etc) but it's not enough to where I wouldn't come back again and get everything juicy style.

Ordered the black mussels medium seafood boil. Mussels and corn were a little tough. Sauce was watery. This boil satisfies a seafood boil craving if you just REALLY need it...but no where near what you could get in Louisiana. No utensils in the bag.

The crab legs are amazing and always seasoned perfectly, Dean had amazing service and was very attentive, will definitely be back!

Dean was amazing and had great suggestions, definitely ask for him! The food always comes out fast and taste amazing

Food and service was great! Andres our server was very great and understanding due to my dad's health issues very kind and helpful with the menu will definitely be coming back again!

The seafood here has got the be the best seafood I have had in a while. It's extremely juicy, not dry at all, they are not stingy with the sauce. The service was really good as well, I like how the staff will occasionally check up on you but not to the point where it becomes a bother. The place itself had very nice decorations, it was clean and had nice music playing. The prices were great like honestly I expected to pay way more but no those special deals they have is definitely a steal. I wish they had onion though but other than that. 100/10

1LB Shrimp and 1/2 LB Sausage. It also comes with 1 ear of corn and 2 potatoes. The Special Juicy Sauce is excellent!!!

The manager/server Andres was very attentive and gave a great suggestion to try the Juicy Special flavor, and It was very flavorful. We decided to go with the mild spicy for our boil since it was our first time there and not sure what their definition of spice was. It was in fact mild. Drinks were promptly refilled when they reached the 1/2 empty mark, and all the tables were touched as he passed by and checked on the customers. The shrimp were cooked to perfection and the sausage had a nice texture. Would probably not order the onion rings again, as they are just like the ones from Sonic. The raw oysters were nice and fresh on the half shell, but it would have been nice had they been cut away from the shell itself. Overall we will be back! Thank you for overall experience!

My daughter says this place is the bomb! She brought me and the girl here for a really tasty lunch yesterday! The place was almost empty in the mid-afternoon. Our server was so friendly and helpful! The menu is incredible! I am sure most of you are familiar with these boil and dump seafood restaurants. The prices were good so we ordered a bounty of shrimp and crab with corn and potatoes. The seasoning was on point! They provide gloves and bibs and we tore into our feast! It was excellent and such a fun way to get your protein fill. The ambiance is casual and chill they have a full bar! I bet this place rocks on the weekend!

4/11/2026: Great experience! Nick took wonderful care of us…read more The restaurant has plenty of parking near the entrance. The interior is Mardi Gras/New Orleans themed. There are several types of seating available. They have a large patio - one section covered, one section open. They also have bar seating inside, regular chairs/table seating, and chair with a half booth seating. We were welcome by many of the staff immediately when we entered. Very welcoming. They have sweet tea! I love sweet tea. :) My Friend had a Bloody Mary. They had a $5 special for drinks. We split the Buffalo shrimp and the Gulf Wedge salad. The Buffalo shrimp (8 to an order) came with celery and ranch for dipping. They were just like I remembered years ago from the Richmond location. I'm not usually a Buffalo sauce type person, but their shrimp with their sauce is the bomb! The shrimp are large, so the entree is great for splitting. The Gulf Wedge has crab meat, bacon, grape tomatoes, and a hardboiled egg. It also comes with red onion and blue cheese crumbs, but I do not like either of those, so I had those removed from my half. I also prefer ranch dressing instead of blue cheese dressing. The salad was a great addition to our shrimp. Very tasty and filling. Nick was happy to make the substitutions for me. Many restaurants have an issue with splitting dishes. I was happy RC, via Nick, did this for us. For these reasons, Nick made out with a 25% tip. I am always a 20% tipper, but good service will get you even more. Thanks, Nick! We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, and we will not only be back, but we will tell others to go see you!

We swung by for an impromptu dinner a few weeks back and had a great first visit…read more I grew up eating at the Ragin' Cajun on Richmond, and was excited to hear about the new location popping up in Spring Branch. The restaurant sits on Wirt, just South of Long Point, and has its own private parking lot behind a gated perimeter. There is plenty of seating. They have tons of covered outdoor tables, indoor tables, booths, and bar top options. I also noticed there's a little turfed area for kids to play on the side of the restaurant, and the outdoor seating appears to be kid friendly, so bring the whole household. (minus the cat I guess) We came on a Friday and decided to split the Boiled Seafood Friday Special. We got a lobster tail, 2 blue crabs, 1 snow crab cluster, 1/2 lb. boiled shrimp, corn, 2 potatoes, and lemon garlic butter sauce for dipping all for $40. There was plenty of food to split between two people and everything came out great. I'm sure I'll be back to try out the menu staples, but that Friday special was a nice surprise! Service was very on top of our table. Our waiter came by constantly to make sure we have what we needed, helped with questions, and never let a water glass or a beer get too low. Overall, it was a great first visit to an old Houston favorite, and I'm sure we'll find ourselves back again soon enough.

The Ceviche Blanco and Aguachile were my favorites paired with a reposado tequila and Jamaica drink... Totally hit the spot. Love that they have tequila cocktails with pepino and tamarindo too! Beautiful and festive decor!…read more I really enjoyed the ambiance and how the indoors/outdoors was set. It's super colorful and fun. Plenty of outdoor seating as well and bar seating indoors. Caesar was super hospitable and very knowledgeable about the restaurant. To start, I ordered the Xochimilco specialty cocktail (Reposado Tequila, Lime Juice, Guava Puree and hibiscus syrup, very light and refreshing). For apps, we ordered the Birria Fries (comes with alot birria meat and the broth was hearty, thin fries) and the Ceviche Yucateco (both spicy fish and shrimp and boy was it SPICY! Chips that it came with were made fresh and crunchy). For my main, I got the Estilo Baja (tempura fried fish, very crispy and the chipotle mayo it was topped off paired nicely with the taco itself, highly recommend ordering this). Apparently, has been opened for about 2 years now and they have another location in the Bellaire area. Parking - a little tight, but they have their own lot Worth checking out!

Connie's Seafood will surely surprise you with the food quality, portions, value pricing & great…read morecustomer service! After a few dines already, it's already one of my favorite seafood restaurants in Houston. The menu has so many great selections from fried , pan seared, soups, ceviches and more. I especially enjoy the shrimp fried rice, which is offered as a side included with many entrees. Fair warning, the shrimp fried rice is habit forming and Soooo good! I would say the shrimp fried rice is the highlight of my meal whenever I order the fried fish with shrimp or pan seared shrimp marinated in a special sauce which can also be modified with hot sauce. The soups and ceviches are also very tasty with very generous portions. Restaurant tends to get very busy during certain times, so plan ahead to get a good table. I always make it a point to arrive early during opening time to avoid the busy lunch rush. The restaurant staff is consistently attentive and provides excellent customer service. It's located at this nice casual little bar called tikilas or some shit like that. Instantly I knew I was in for a treat because they were playing "get low" by lil Jon. And boy was I about to get LOW ! I walked up to order , and to my most utter surprise: there it was , a five pounder deal. They give you a little light up vibrator thing to take back to the table , so that you know when your food is ready to be devoured. Talk about hot and ready! Those crawdads were done in literally like 15 minutes MAX! I immediately started ripping off those slutty little crawfish shells and sucking like there was NO tomorrow! I felt EXPLOSIONS of flavor through my body. I definitely climaxed at least three to four times while I was indulging. I wandered in not expecting much, but my experience here ended up much better than I thought…read more I went with their August prix fixe and went with their Truffle Deviled Eggs, Crispy Sweet & Sour Shrimp, and Key Lime Tart. The deviled eggs make good comfort food and was satisfying. This version doesn't have much of a kick, but it's very creamy and you can definitely taste the truffle oil. The homemade potato chips also add to the texture and salt between bites. The shrimp dish was fun with a light and crispy batter, well-seasoned and drizzled with sweet chili sauce. The cool ranch surprisingly added to the shrimp and enhanced the chili sauce rather than overwhelming it. The made-in-house fries were far better than expected. I was somewhat expecting dense, oily, boring fries, but these were very crisp and somehow didn't feel too greasy as far as fries goes. Almost seemed like an injustice for it to be served with ketchup as it was too good for it. Lastly, the tart was a great way to end the meal without it being too much. Loved the crust. The tart shell tasted really good and went well with the filling, which had a lighter consistency than pudding. Fruits tasted like they were on season, even though it should be a bit too late for strawberries. I'm also a sucker for meringue. I'll have to come back to see if it wasn't a fluke, but there were a lot of dishes here that looked good. Maybe even swing by for happy hour, we'll see. Definitely a nice spot to visit in this neighborhood.

The meatballs and tomato sauce were both solid and I loved the toasted bread on the side. As for the truffle deviled eggs, that's something you don't see often on the menu! The truffle flavor/aroma was solid and the fresh chips on top were nice. The cheeseburger was pretty good and I enjoyed all the veggies that came with! Aside from that, the restaurant had a neat interior/decorations and good service!
