This was my first time here. I came to have dinner with my friends before we went to go see the show. Our waitress' name was Nikki. She helped answer our questions about the menu and gave recommendations on the drink. I started off with the steamed oysters with their special juicy sauce. It was amazing.Their sauce could be bottled. I also got their boil, where I got scallops, mussles and clams. Their drink was okay. It was big but it only had a little bit of alcohol in it. I sought also got a small catfish in fries.To go, their catfish was on point, and I think their fries would have been good if I had eaten them hot. I would definitely come back. So we were wanting crawfish and this wasn't the first place we went to but ended up coming here cause the wait was too long at the other place and I'm here to say, I'm happy we ended up here! Nikki was our server and she was giving it her best to keep up with our needs. There were times we had to ask about certain things but in the end we got what we needed. If you are ordering crawfish, make sure you ask if they are fresh live or frozen. Nikki said we were getting fresh however as I made my way through the bag, I could tell some were frozen as they were a little on the mushy side (where the struggle to get them out the shell wasn't worth the fight). We got steamed oysters with the juicy sauce and I honestly could have made a meal out of this as we also got raw oysters and I preferred the steamed ones. The raw oysters were a little gritty for me, it didn't come with horse radish or cocktail sauce or crackers. But while we are here, let's talk about the juicy sauce . . . Just get it!! You will want to dip EVERYTHING in it. A friend got the fried fish, tried it, delicious. Another friend got the crab and shrimp, I don't think she said a word the whole time as she was busy eating. Another friend got the scallops and mussels and she was pleased with her meal. Seriously, this was a great alternative to where we planned on going to and we all left full. As I said, there were a few hiccups (a meal ordered but not delivered, having to ask for things more than once, etc) but it's not enough to where I wouldn't come back again and get everything juicy style. read more

The manager/server Andres was very attentive and gave a great suggestion to try the Juicy Special flavor, and It was very flavorful. We decided to go with the mild spicy for our boil since it was our first time there and not sure what their definition of spice was. It was in fact mild. Drinks were promptly refilled when they reached the 1/2 empty mark, and all the tables were touched as he passed by and checked on the customers. The shrimp were cooked to perfection and the sausage had a nice texture. Would probably not order the onion rings again, as they are just like the ones from Sonic. The raw oysters were nice and fresh on the half shell, but it would have been nice had they been cut away from the shell itself. Overall we will be back! Thank you for overall experience! read more

Wooooooow!!!!! This place used to be really good, boiled food use to come out piping hot and not with after taste (wonder what caused that, hope not lack of cleanliness). That melted butter was horrible just colored oil. Customer Service has not all that I wonder were was Andy. I had to remind my server to bring that terrible butter and ask for water. I always have a great experience every time I come here! The service is amazing, the staff is super welcoming, and everything always comes out perfect. You can really tell they care about their customers and making sure everyone has a good time. To all the folks who left a bad review...go suck an egg....my husband and I have been coming here for literally years and have not had a bad experience YET!! Our usual waiter, Andres, not only greets us personally but remembers our orders, even the drinks, to the letter. The food is always excellent and served in a timely manner. My daughter says this place is the bomb! She brought me and the girl here for a really tasty lunch yesterday! The place was almost empty in the mid-afternoon. Our server was so friendly and helpful! The menu is incredible! I am sure most of you are familiar with these boil and dump seafood restaurants. The prices were good so we ordered a bounty of shrimp and crab with corn and potatoes. The seasoning was on point! They provide gloves and bibs and we tore into our feast! It was excellent and such a fun way to get your protein fill. The food was OK sufficient for what I ordered the sweet potato fries were crispy the fried catfish was adequate and well cooked "HOWEVER " I waited 41 minutes to get two pieces of fried catfish and sweet potato fries when the food arrived the waitress brought out shrimp and sweet potato fries. There should not have been an issue because I do not eat shrimp. She didn't ask me if I was sure that's what I ordered in as much as I never would eat shrimp I was sure. She never returned my table, even though she was within two tables of May 2 or three times to ask if anything was needed. When she was at the other table, I had to call out and ask for cocktail sauce. He did not say a word turned around and left came back to the other table gave them to go things gave them their check and then walked over and dropped it on the table and did not say one word and turned around and left again. At some point when she picked up the other tables check she just walked over and dropped mine on the table did not ask if I needed anything else just left. So if you go there looking for good service, I would say don't bother.. The young lady, cashier ,was very nice and came over and asked me if everything was all right. Close to the end after the check had been dropped off. I talked with her for a moment and she apologized for a homeless person coming in asking for money, and for the amount of time I have been there. She's the only one that seemed to care one way or the other oh and when I asked the waitress for the Wi-Fi password, she told me it's in the back left-hand corner all the way ! I had no idea what she was talking about and when I ask her what that meant, she was telling me where the bathroom was ! So I know she wasn't paying attention and when I said I was looking for the password again she informed me that Ito "google it"!!! Remember, there was no service in the restaurant. I was so excited to try this place out since I'm new to the area . So Sunday after a long day of moving decided to give it a try . The dark skin lady working barely greeted me just told me to sit anywhere in the area to the left I did she gave me a menu then 3 min later said sorry can you sit in that section over there started arguing with the guy then came back to me to say hey can you go back where you was . I was so turned off I left . As I was leaving she said his shift done . Horrible customer service , all I wanted after a long day was to enjoy a drink and some food not to play musical chairs when the restaurant barely had 4 people seated around 8pm. Seems like every time 2 particular ladies are there, the Uber Eats is turned off. I guess they don't want to do any extra work. Also i went in here the other day, after waiting 15,20 minutes i had to walk up to the desk to put in my order, no one came to my table to give a menu or take my order. Inside the restaurant is colorfully decorated in a nautical theme with plenty of seating available. It is a seafood restaurant that offers mainly boiled and fried seafood entrees with daily specials and special lunch options. Recently, I visited twice for dinner. My first visit had me feeling for some pasta so I ordered their Pasta with Mix Seafood for $15. It arrived less than 15 minutes later and contained shrimp, black mussels and clams with spaghetti in an Alfredo sauce. I was pleased not only with the taste but also the quantity of seafood provided. The Alfredo sauce is unique in that it is a little spicy having a peppery taste. This meal filled me and I enjoyed it. The second visit a week later was for some fried seafood and I asked for the Catfish and Shrimp with Cajun fries for $13.50. I received 2 large catfish fillets and 4 plump shrimp on the bed of hot fries. I liked this meal too especially the shrimp. On both visits, my waitress was Sheila and she did an excellent job. Very professional and with a calm and assuring voice Sheila is the waitress you should ask for when you come here. Red Crab is a very good restaurant to come get your seafood fix. read more
