I stumbled upon this gem after googling "vinyl records near me" while in the Duluth area. The service was fair, but what really impressed me was the extensive collection of up-to-date vinyl records. Unlike other stores that primarily stock older records, CD Warehouse has a great selection of contemporary vinyl. It's the best store I've visited so far for vinyl shopping. I managed to rack up on many new records here. The best part was the value. The prices were not bad at all to say many of these were newer. I'll definitely be back! There were many vinyls that I did see that I put bad.

If you're looking for something niche like a 2019 TWICE album, chances are you'll actually find it here when other stores are sold out. That said, the pricing here is honestly hard to justify. There are at least two other K-pop stores nearby, and this one is by far the most expensive. It feels like they're charging Los Angeles prices while operating in Georgia, where minimum wage is still $7.25. Photocards in particular are priced ridiculously high -- easily 3 to 4 times more than what other local stores charge for similar items. This store has multiple location on the west coast. Service isn't as personable no reason for u to come back. What makes it worse is that the other shop owners in the area are clearly aware of these prices, yet this store still continues with the same markup strategy. The atmosphere also feels less personal compared to the smaller stores nearby. The other shops feel more community-oriented and welcoming, while this one feels more transactional. If you absolutely need a hard-to-find album or older release, this is probably the place to check. But for casual shopping, photocards, or just overall value, there are definitely better options in the area.

When I walked in it wasn't packed but there were definitely people shopping. It reminded me of this music store I worked in almost 20 years. There was something so nostalgic and it just made me feel at home. I needed Prince Sign of the times and they didn't have anymore but Tobago (owner) made a few calls and worked some magic for me... I've bought plenty of used and new CDs and records here and thought I was a regular. Lately, I've come in just to browse, which is normal for a record store. Today, about 15 minutes into looking around, Warren asked if I needed help. I said no, I was just browsing. Out of nowhere, he got cold and said the last few times I'd been there I didn't buy anything, then kept repeating that I never buy anything, which is completely untrue. I calmly told him I've spent plenty of money here before and that it's okay to look without buying, but he kept going on in front of other customers and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Eventually, I just walked out, shocked. It felt like I was talking to a completely different person. I genuinely thought I was a familiar customer and that he'd understand that sometimes people browse and sometimes they buy. Instead, I was treated like a burden. Maybe he was having a bad day, but that's not an excuse to take it out on customers, especially regulars. Honestly, maybe I would buy more CDs if he actually stocked more of them. I've seen him turn away people trying to sell CDs and decline them rudely, which hurts the selection. As another local record shop owner told me, Warren is just a "bitter old man", and after today, I believe it. As a warning to regulars and new customers, watch your back, because you never know when he'll turn on you. I won't be coming back, and I do not recommend this store.

First, I didn't realize how close they were to the stadium, really made it a no brainer to check them out. Non the less, I called to see if they had cassette tapes as well as vinyl, to which I was told they had several hundred. When we arrived we looked through the store. Really cool stuff, they had several vinyl I'd never seen before. Selection of both new and used and all genres were available. Towards the back of the store was mounted cassette shelves that we sorted through to see what they had. When the girl I talked with earlier saw us looking at the tapes she approached and asked if I was the one she had talked with earlier, to which I replied yes. She then led us to another part of the store to show us boxes and crates that were filled with unsorted cassettes. She indicated we could feel free to look through these as well for anything we would like. In addition to records and tapes they have a large selection of DVD, blu ray, video game, some comics, posters and random pop culture nick knack type stuff. Really cool store, glad we found it. Customer service was outstanding! I'd for sure return if we were in the area again.

One of the most unwelcoming bookstores I have ever been in. I am perplexed how they stay in business.
