Looks like they are targeting naive novice collectors and not real collectors with Discogs pages that know the value of records... Maybe they don't realize it? There was a group discussion going at the last VinylCon about how expensive this place is. That's a bad rep to have. Lower the prices and you will have a better rep. This seems to be the trend with black-owned record stores.... over priced records, but atleast some of the other ones have better selections on used jazz and soul. Nothing positive to say about this place. Poor selection. Poor location (pay to park, and up a flight of stairs), prices outrageous (almost laughable), and it's literally located in the corner of a room. It's not even a store. Joke.

They had a pole out front covered in punk, rock, and local bands stickers. I had to take a picture of my kids in front of the building. Inside it looks like a movie. You know the movies where they are sifting through thousands of cool records and cds? My 9 year old got to experience what was old, but new. They had a huge variety of records and cds. Lots of indie and local artist. My 12 year old was with me and enjoyed all the Twenty One Pilots cds. My daughter, the 9 year old is into Ingrid Michaelson and saw all her music. The staff was knowledgeable. When we asked him for a certain group he knew right away of they had or not. He even recommended other bands simular to the band we asked about. I've never left a review for any shop in my life no matter how bad of an experience I've had, but I couldn't let someone talk to me like that and not let other people know what to expect. As someone who is familiar with the area, it was still difficult to find as there was no sign with the store name on the front of the building. The only way to distinguish from the outside was from the ATEEZ merch advertised. The inside was very cute!!! Lots of variety, including signed merch. Lots of photo ops as well as music videos playing in the background. The cafe at the back with tables for opening albums was a nice touch. If you go to the very back of the store, there are panels signed by artists who visited the store, which is pretty cool. I visited around the time of the latest ATEEZ concert so they had tons of merch and photo ops set up for the event.
