Mothership of ATL record stores. I'm a fan of all that dot our beautiful city, but Wax n Facts is the most iconic. It's home base. That's partly down to their location, the most easily walkable of any, especially those of us taking MARTA or biking from intown. The owners / staff have seen it all and have great knowledge. The "recently added" box next to the door has sprouted multiple unicorns for me through 30+ years of my visits. Vinyl is the sexy thing again in 2022, but big props to WnF for tons of used CDs - Atlanta's best spot for that. Love me some Wax n Facts. Follow me on IG @record_stores_fan_atlanta

Killer records at great prices!

This place was amazing! They were playing some funky organ music the entire time I was there - you could tell they loved it and hated it at the same time. The selection for Jazz records is outstanding. Not only that, but every record I looked at was not scratched and was CLEAN! They really put effort into this store - but their prices are insanely cheap. I would suggest this place to anybody. ONE OF THE TOP 5 RECORD STORES I HAVE EVER VISITED.

Fantastic selection of used records with some new records thrown in as well - volume wise the split is probably 70% used and 30% new. The strongest genres of the store are rock (but not metal), soul and jazz, and you'd be well-served to set aside at least two hours to hunt around and see what turns up. I found some good records in multiple genres (in my case, rock and soul) but I'd also say don't sleep on the hip-hop here. If you can bear to buy some CDs they are cheap and the hip-hop selections are excellent! I've been to hundreds of record stores and this is absolutely in my top 10 in the United States. Go, set aside some time, open your mind and you'll find many solid records in that beautiful $5-$10 range!

They've been in Little Five Points for thirty years...let that sink in...thirty years, way before Little Five was the sticks, became cool, became uncool, and got cool again. Same location, same wooden store front, same great product. I firmly believe that if a natural disaster struck Little Five Points, Wax N' Facts would be the only thing standing, still selling killer new and used vinyl. Since they stick to vinyl, they can co-exist with Criminal Records down the street. The staff knows their stuff, and can help you with that rare or sentimental album (yes, you can legitimately call them albums, kids) you're looking for. It's a perfect place to build out your collection, dump some of your older stuff to make room, or buy a gift for the discerning record collector.

I went here to see if the new kings of Leon album would be here, two days before the release date. And sure enough they did! Not only that, they had the deluxe version on CD and the vinyl as well. Not to hate on criminal records down the street, which I love, but they didn't have it. So I'm coming here first for any CD purchase, plus they have better prices, for the most part.

Fantastic new and used vinyl LP selection across all genres. Very substantial used selection and prices for new LPs are very reasonable.

It's a work shop and retail selling records, Dj equipment, and art supplies. Mega and his small team do great work out of a small space. I read some of the reviews saying the staff is rude, those reviews are from people who don't understand how to act in someone's work shop. Salute to Mega and crew. Thank you for what you do.

Then reaching adulthood I came into the store one day and I walked into the store, and the door didn't close all the way I honestly made a minor mistake of not closing it behind me because I was so lost in thought. Then the guy instantly made a remark of "Y'all don't close doors out here", mind you Ive been into hip hop all my life so I wasn't so much put off by that remark even though he said it in a very offensive manner, it was more so what happened afterwards after saying that remark I looked back at the door and it seemed to close on its own and I shrugged my shoulders smiled and said something to the extent of oh well it closed on its own. I walked towards the counter and the guy proceeded to shoot up out of his chair got close to the counter and gave me a death stare saying "What's up" like he wanted to fight. Still me being so young and being in a lot of hostile situations I laughed it off even though I shouldn't have. I proceeded to go to the store on other occasions (I don't know why) and it was always rude condescending interactions with the guy. Dude has a thuggish, rude, condescending disposition. This is not what hip hop is about. I can tell why this hipster came down to Atlanta he knew them cats in New York wouldnt tolerate those lame actions he puts off. If I could give multiple negative 5 star reviews I would. Avoid this place at all Costs!!!
