It's the best place for the hot hot in the ATL. Not only is the selection amazing but the owner's…read morepricing is also reasonable. For the past year, I have been trying to make my "Spanish style" (from what I can guess previous homeowner's were going for) home more Hollywood Regency- on a bit of a budget. Other places in town have higher markups. It's not necessarily cheap but you are paying a bit more to have curated items. This is not a thrift store- but the benefit is there are so many incredible items. But I want to stress it is NOT overpriced. If you question whether something is worth the price the owner will explain why it costs as much as it does... I bought an acrylic chandelier for a VERY reasonable price- and I later saw it another place about 6 miles away for 3 times what I paid at Antique Factory... You walk in and it can be a little intimidating- it's a large, slightly dark space with countless items. They are not necessarily super friendly at first- you may not get a "hello" from someone for a while- but if you ask questions or need help they are more than willing to assist. There is a lot of stuff. They were recently trying to reorganize and tidy up the selection- I have not been in since then. I got addicted to this place. I was there every few weeks for several months... My favorite pieces in my house (a Dan Murphy sculpture that is beautiful, a large wall mural made by Finesse in the 1950s of Trojan horses, a faux bamboo Hollywood Regency armoir, a metal sea-shell wall hanging, a huge bamboo 1960s floor screen...) are all from Antique Factory.... Let yourself get lost there- touch things, walk slowly, use your creativity, let the items talk to you- you will be transported to a much more fashionable, fabulous world...

Been visiting this gem for several years and over that period, I have bought several items at a…read moredecent price. it's a great place to meander through, revisiting your childhood or beyond. However, nowadays they know exactly what they have and the prices do reflect that. Lots of killer stuff but not as many bargains. Still a worthy visit - always.

Great, entertaining selection to browse through. We found quite a few things for the home and would…read moredefinitely come here again. Things you should know: I. PARKING There's a free private parking lot out front II. SERVICE Friendly III. QUALITY Mostly well maintained furniture & items that could use a little bit of touch ups & shinning from scratches & wear, but overall a great collection. The organization of the market can be a little overwhelming. IV. CAPACITY Happy to see a decent amount of people looking around the shop on a Sunday

However, what makes My Favorite Place different is that they are more flea market than consignment/antique store, and this is something that they fully embrace and own! We have popped into My Favorite Place a couple of times over the years in search of things we never knew we needed. MFP is a treasure trove of used items ranging from trinkets to furniture that are stacked from wall to wall and floor to ceiling, they even have pieces outside lining the sidewalk. To go back to the "flea market" comment, that is truly what the items here are. The store feels like one big yard sale with majority of the items simply being used and old, not really antiques or collectibles. Due to this and the way things are stacked and shelved, a lot of items are pretty beat up. They have a solid selection of furniture pieces, but again they are chipped and worn. If you are after furniture and plan to finish it yourself, then MFP is a solid option for you! Prices are fair and decent for everything in here, even the furniture. The pricing reflects the condition, so again if you are a DIY-er, then you can really find some great deals and good pieces here. Overall, My Favorite Place is a combination of over and underwhelming. Overwhelming in the way of volume of items, haphazard organization and stocking and underwhelming in the condition of items. We pop in when we are in the area, but would not go out of our way to drop by here.
