This place is legit. A wide variety of stuff and some really unique finds. Probably my second favorite antique store to date.

Once staff realized it may have been more valuable than expected, their tone changed and I was told they needed to check with the seller. Staff were openly commenting about how nice the item was and saying they wished they had noticed it sooner. No so long after placing the item on hold I received a call saying the item was suddenly "not for sale." Whether intentional or not, it gave the impression that desirable items may not actually be available to customers. Sad to say I don't recommend. Edit: The reply from the owner clearly shows how out of touch he is with his store and its sellers. There are multiple people who can attest of the behavior of the modifying and removal of the piece I was interested in. A simple check in with your employees would confirm the situation. Congrats on the 45 years you hold in the community maybe tell your sellers to try and do better in the years to come! Honesty and humility go a long way. See the screenshot from the 29 sec phone call I received where they told me the piece was no longer for sale!

I quickly found a spot and we entered through the side entrance. Soon as we entered we were welcomed warmly with eye contact and smiles. We just took our time looking at all the different fun stuff. I would definitely recommend a visit to Kudzu.

If you are anything like me, just walking around this store can fill that happiness of seeing beautiful pieces of the past. I felt like this store just kept going and going, it was huge and jam-packed full of everything you can think of. Furniture, jewelry, books, clothing, statues and small decor, light fixtures, glass pieces, pictures/ prints/ frames, a bunch of christmas items and way more. There was a whole patio area we weren't even able to look at because it was closed. I will say, unfortunately, the prices are pretty insanely steep here. It's definitely a shop where the items are antique and prices more than reflect that. There were things here and there that were more reasonable, but a majority of the items would be ridiculous to purchase unless you have a pretty sumptuous income. I do think there's room to bargain on some items, but as other reviews have noted definitely be aware of pricing if you come in here. But if nothing else it definitely makes for a very entertaining stroll around to see all there is!

However, what makes My Favorite Place different is that they are more flea market than consignment/antique store, and this is something that they fully embrace and own! We have popped into My Favorite Place a couple of times over the years in search of things we never knew we needed. MFP is a treasure trove of used items ranging from trinkets to furniture that are stacked from wall to wall and floor to ceiling, they even have pieces outside lining the sidewalk. To go back to the "flea market" comment, that is truly what the items here are. The store feels like one big yard sale with majority of the items simply being used and old, not really antiques or collectibles. Due to this and the way things are stacked and shelved, a lot of items are pretty beat up. They have a solid selection of furniture pieces, but again they are chipped and worn. If you are after furniture and plan to finish it yourself, then MFP is a solid option for you! Prices are fair and decent for everything in here, even the furniture. The pricing reflects the condition, so again if you are a DIY-er, then you can really find some great deals and good pieces here. Overall, My Favorite Place is a combination of over and underwhelming. Overwhelming in the way of volume of items, haphazard organization and stocking and underwhelming in the condition of items. We pop in when we are in the area, but would not go out of our way to drop by here.

What an absolutely delightful store!…read more I stopped in to shop for accessories for a client and found an absolute treasure trove of unique pieces- some vintage, some truly antique. I was shopping for a client with midcentury taste who likes pieces with a story behind them, and this was the perfect stop. It's a great mix of time periods and style. I received help from various people working here, and all were kind and generous with their time, even as they let me circle the store for an hour figuring out which pieces I wanted to get. The process of getting items on approval was incredibly easy. I'll be back for future clients.

Okay, have to start by saying WOW!!!…read more From the first time I stepped into Interiors Market (maybe two years ago?) to when I walked through the door today, there has been a TREMENDOUS change in the atmosphere, look, and merchandise offered at Interiors Market. Interiors Market has undergone (and from the looks of it will continue to undergo) SO many renovations and refurbishing over the last year. Milton, the new owner, and his partner Greg are the friendliest people one could hope to encounter when shopping in such a large warehouse-style shop. But PLEASE don't let the size of Interiors Market intimidate you. Like I said, Greg and Milton are wonderful, polite, and well informed about their craft. Any question I had was met with an enthusiastic response. The store has an incredible and eclectic selection of lighting, home decor, art, and furniture... and it all ranges from antique, to mid-century, right up to today's contemporary trends. Browsing through the shop may take you a whole afternoon, but frequent stops to chat (and laugh and enjoy free cheesecake samples!!!) with Mrs. Hornsby of Hornsby Cakes will not only keep you entertained, but will make you feel more than welcome into the #InteriorsMarketFamily. The staff is energetic and so easy to work with. I can't wait to see what's happening at Interiors Market next time I drop by for a visit (which will have to be soon because that cheesecake is addicting)!
