They responded to all of our questions in a timely fashion and were overall wonderful to work with. The cabinet was delivered not long after we ordered it. I wasn't present for the delivery but my husband said it was a guy and his son. Delivery was expensive but that's what you get when you live in Maryland and the item is coming from Georgia. However, I'm also a Very Lazy Shopper who just wants to get what she needs and be done with it. I've never been the type to hunt for items so vintage stores have never really been my jam. I'd had my eye on a West Elm sideboard but the buying process turned out to be a disaster. But I digress. Let's talk about City Issue. I gave up on WE and started poking around the online inventory of Atlanta's many vintage shops. I'd tabbed a few items and found myself coming back to a walnut sideboard from City Issue. It was a little out of my comfort zone style-wise but it was exactly what I was looking for utility-wise and price-wise. I used the "Inquire" button on their website to request a hold on it to see it in person. Someone got back to me within just a few minutes! The in-person experience was fantastic. The inventory is gorgeous and it made me all the more upset with myself for defaulting to giant corporate furniture stores. I unfortunately did not get the name of the employee who helped me but gosh, did she help! She had me bring my car around while she got the piece on wheels, helped us load it into the car, and even helped out with the most effective way to tie it down and keep the trunk from damaging it. This piece was over a foot longer than the WE sideboard, which was less expensive but adding in shipping, totaled only $3 cheaper than what I ended up with. I was exceedingly pleased with the entire experience and would absolutely come back.

Sitting on Broad Street, near the intersection of Peachtree Road is this little building with a…read morevariety of items that you never knew you may need for that one corner in your house that you just haven't found the right thing for. We were our looking for that thing we didn't know we needed and wondered into Chamblee Antiques and Collectibles. Upon walking up, you see a part of their building dons a "Furniture Restoration" sign, so immediately we got pumped as we were actually more interested in furniture than the tchotchke's normally found in places like this. Upon entry, we were greeted by the owners, who were very nice and welcoming! They of course offered us assistance is we may need it and let us know that there were more items through the doorway. As most antique shops, there was a wide assortment of items from entry to exit. We wondered through to get to the furniture side of things, but sadly never found it. While they had random tables and chests, the furniture restoration side of the business is no more *insert sad face*. The side of the shop that used to house this portion of the business is a little strange featuring glass cases for knick-knacks, mannequins dressed very oddly, homemade items and a few other random things. Going to be honest, it was a little weird. Overall, this is your run of the mill, small, locally owned antique shop. While most places are cluttered and bursting at the seams, this place was not packed with stuff, which could be a good thing, however the "antiques" here were off for me and left me confused. For us, it missed the mark, but I am sure to others it will provide what is needed - as that is what the antique markets are all about, what one person loathes, another loves!

Man this place is cool- but wildly expensive…read more I have been in the antiques game for a while now and am very familiar with pricing, piece history, time periods, etc. If you are new to buying antiques and looking for a few interesting pieces, this shop is not for you unless you are willing to invest some serious cash. Or of course, unless you just just want to browse (which honestly I highly encourage! The place is like a really beautiful museum). From my own personal experience, I will tell you that you can find many of these items or items very similar at auctions, estate sales, large wholesale flea markets, and so on-- but obviously that requires time, effort, resources, and a keen eye for antiques. While most of the items in the shop would still innately be on the expensive side regardless of where you purchase (because of what they are and where they're from), the extra markup that you are paying for here is for all the work to be done for you. All (and I do mean ALL) of the hard stuff has been taken care of like finding the actual piece, cleaning/refurbishing as necessary, and staging vignettes for inspiration and decorating. This comes at a premium and the markup could be worth it if you have the money or are just willing to pay for their efforts. But for me, the thrill of antiques is in the hunt! and the negotiation; gotta love a deal. Plus, I enjoy refinishing or cleaning an item myself- which can increase its value dramatically and making my investment that much sweeter. I did love that majority of what I saw when we went were super interesting European antiques and architectural salvage- which are kind of my weakness. Also, the stars of the shop are without a doubt the oversized and incredibly unique books around the show room. All are in exquisite condition which is amazing considering many are from as far back as like the 1600s. Some were bound in velvet with metal trim, some were in a material similar to leather, there were one of a kind volume sets- I have never seen anything like them before! (insert heart-eye emoji). The books were between $300ish upwards to the thousands and are the only things I actually considered purchasing. All in all, the place is spectacular and lovely to browse- but that's pretty much as far as my interest goes with regard to shopping here.

What an absolutely delightful store!…read more I stopped in to shop for accessories for a client and found an absolute treasure trove of unique pieces- some vintage, some truly antique. I was shopping for a client with midcentury taste who likes pieces with a story behind them, and this was the perfect stop. It's a great mix of time periods and style. I received help from various people working here, and all were kind and generous with their time, even as they let me circle the store for an hour figuring out which pieces I wanted to get. The process of getting items on approval was incredibly easy. I'll be back for future clients.

Interiors Market has undergone (and from the looks of it will continue to undergo) SO many renovations and refurbishing over the last year. Milton, the new owner, and his partner Greg are the friendliest people one could hope to encounter when shopping in such a large warehouse-style shop. But PLEASE don't let the size of Interiors Market intimidate you. Like I said, Greg and Milton are wonderful, polite, and well informed about their craft. Any question I had was met with an enthusiastic response. The store has an incredible and eclectic selection of lighting, home decor, art, and furniture... and it all ranges from antique, to mid-century, right up to today's contemporary trends. Browsing through the shop may take you a whole afternoon, but frequent stops to chat (and laugh and enjoy free cheesecake samples!!!) with Mrs. Hornsby of Hornsby Cakes will not only keep you entertained, but will make you feel more than welcome into the #InteriorsMarketFamily. I went in today after my appointment to see if my piece would be a good fit. OMG, this place never ends. There are so many rooms and nooks and crannies full of beautiful antiques. It took me down memory lane, reminding me of pieces my grandparents owned. If you're into antiques, this place is a must. You can literally spend hours in there if you have the time.
