NOT SO long story short, but mine and my husbands cars got towed from our apartment building. Mine was a brand new 2020 car and my husbands was a 2020 mercedes RENTAL from the dealership. ANYWAYS, both cars were towed, so we understood our fault , we get up and call and head to this tow truck place. First off the women in red only allowed my husband into the towing yard while there was about 5 other men already back there. It was 100+ degrees outside today and we had to wait for my husband to make sure our cars weren't damaged. right off the back, my husbands 2020 mercedes rental DIDNT TURN ON !!!!! PLUS THE DOORS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE CAR WERE UNLOCKED !!!! we lock our cars especially brand new cars !!! the lights in my car were on from the inside, how the heck ?!? So we ASKED NICELY for them to write down that the car wouldn't turn on ON THEIR PROPERTY after they towed it. they completely refused to give us any proof that the car wouldn't turn on and said they will jump start it AND THATS IT. So after that, my husband and i got defensive. They also wanted 320$ for each vehicle. They already had our debit card and ID's. TO TOP IT OFF they wanted us to pay card for one and cash for the other ?!?!?! it made no sense. So the people refused to give us any proof that the car wouldn't turn on and the man in the photos said " don't worry about it,it's just a rental" NA UH SIR, a rental under our name from a dealership so no that wasn't going to fall back on us!!! so they said we were rude YET WE HAD EVERY RIGHT TO BE after they wouldn't give us correct documentation!!!! IT GETS BETTER, because we were rude after they were RUDE first THREE MEN physically pushed my husband off the property and they denied us from getting our vehicles ( after they already had our debit card and all information). my husband and i argued back and right away called the cops for these people getting physical and denying us our vehicles that WONT WORK because of THEM !!!!! cops came and recorded everything and got statements of the manager finally saying that the car didn't turn on and the doors were unlocked. And let me just say, these people were acting very BRAND new once the cops came, VERY FISHY!!! and they weren't asking for cash anymore in-front of the cops.The amazing cops stayed with us until we got our vehicles back and agreed the whole situation was wrong. we have police reports and all. This place was a total disaster and poorly ran by people trying to scam everyone during a freaking pandemic. Keep in mind we never complained about money or why we were towed, we literally just wanted our cars and documents saying our cars were messed with JUST in case anything's wrong we can make sure we know they did something wrong. The following is written by my boyfriend, who had a horrific experience with this company. DO NOT GO THERE UNTIL YOU HAVE CHECKED THEIR REVIEWS. Like a lot of people, I'm only doing one star because I can't do any less. The long and short of it is this place damaged my car, and was so beyond unhelpful with regard to getting any sort of recovery for the damage they caused. Read below if you want the full story. Car was towed from a parking lot with improper signage indicating what was grounds for towing. Had to pick up the car on a Sunday morning, and was told their facility didn't open until 10. Got there at 9 and lo and behold, there was someone there, waiting in front of the gate! So, I picked up my car and had to sign the typical "car is in the condition we retrieved it in" form, which is a load of crap because I wasn't allowed to see my car before I signed the form. Also, I got charged an after hours retrieval fee because I chose to pick up my car on a Sunday instead of leaving it helpless in their yard until Monday morning. Then the fun begins. They take my $300 and my signature, and the shakiest man in the world opens the gate and points me towards my car. Not only was there damage to my vehicle, but the yard had tried to PAINT OVER THE DAMAGE to make me think it wasn't there. When I told him they had done damage to my vehicle, his response was, "Well, you'll have to come in tomorrow because the person who can file that claim for you doesn't work on the weekends." So, I take a day off of work to try and get this situation resolved. When I come in Monday morning, bright and early at 8am, I am told promptly by the only man working there that the supervisor, who is the only person who can handle claims, is out and usually doesn't get in until 10 or 11. He takes pictures of my car and tries to insinuate that he wasn't sure how the damage was caused because the tow arm only touches so much of the car. He also tried to cover for them breaking in to my car to take the handbrake off, saying that he couldn't see the marks on the glass and on the door frame. He takes his pictures and takes my phone number and tells me the supervisor will call me. 10, 11, 12, 1, 2, and 3pm pass before I decide to go back to the yard for the third time in two days to see if I can catch the supervisor herself. This time, I'm greeted by a different person who says that the supervisor was "in and out of the office about 2 hours ago, but I have a stack of paper for her to review." She gave me a business card and told me that the supervisor would call before the end of the day. Guess what didn't happen? So now I'm out $300, just for retrieving my vehicle, and probably out another $3-400 for the damage that needs to be repaired because these shitheads can't tow a car properly and refuse to take ownership for their actions. I am so beyond incensed by this place and I seriously hope they lose their towing license for how terrible of a job they do. read more

First of all, If it were possible to rate with 0 stars, I would totally do so. My car was towed (10/2/2018) off the community where my sister lives in Van Nuys (for the 2nd time). The first time the property manager was at fault for wrongful parking signage. In addition to that, when I called to arrived with my fiancé to make sure my car was there and find out fees the guy who was there said $172. When I returned to pick up my car since I had forgot my debit card at home, Ronny (the owner) then bumped up to $235. I told him I was not going to pay that amount as just 35 min ago the guy told me a lower price. He began to argue with me and told me that was impossible. When the guy arrived back in the office, I told him to discuss the price he initially had told me he didn't even bother asking him further details and charged me the $172 I was told at the beginning. This shows that he was trying to scam me. A few days ago (1/4/2019) my car was wrongfully towed from my sisters community again. However, this time I was not parked somewhere I was not supposed to be. I was parked on my sister's neighbor's spot where he has authorized me to park. Once I walked out of her house I saw the driver going off and began running (I am currently 7 months pregnant) hoping the driver would see me and I can demand him to take down my car as it was wrongfully towed. He noticed I was running to him and he sped off. When I called RCs to confirm they had my car, David was not helpful at all. He was telling me I was wrongfully parked- claiming I was parked in a different spot outside a vacant house which I wasn't. My brother-in-law argued over them not having the authorization to tow cars off that spot. When I spoke with David he said towing fees were $172. On top of that when my brother-in-law took me to pick up my car, I called when I was outside and then David said that they were closed as of 5pm and I had to "make an appointment" for later that night which he had never mentioned. I arrived there around 7pm and had to come back at 8:30 pm. The nightmare doesn't end there... When I arrived to pick up my car, the "supervisor" (a female) by the name of Claudia, Carolina or Cecilia (I can't quite remember as I was so frustrated with the whole situation) attended me. Never have I encountered such horrible "customer service". She asked for my ID when I arrived and I had to go inside my car to get my purse which had stayed in my car since I had quickly gotten off to my sister's house to use the restroom. When I was going to pay her the $172 which David had talked about she told me that the amount I had to pay $303- almost twice that amount. I told her I was not going to pay that as David had told me a different price. She called him and she started off by saying (sorry for the profanity) "Aqui esta la muchacha del puto Corolla"/ "Here is the girl who owns the fucking Corolla". I told her she had no right to disrespect me. David started arguing with me saying he never gave me that price. I didn't want to pay the $303 given the fact that they were being rude and they had initially told me a certain price, but ended up paying. I called my brother-in-law to confirm in front of the supervisor that I had been told a fee of $172. She then turned really disrespectful and told me I had to hurry up and get out of there if I wasn't going to pay. ON TOP OF ALL THAT, she told me I was "lucky" I am pregnant, otherwise she "would've laid hands on me". THAT'S A THREAT. I told her she had to watch her mouth and she couldn't touch me, but she kept on going about that she had every right because I was on private property. These people need to get reported to the BBB. It is not correct for them to try and take advantage of people. Currently, I am opening a lawsuit against their company with the owner of that parking spot as he himself stated he hasn't given authorization to tow cars off his spot. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. Someone parked in our pid for permit spot at our apartment, and RC's towing is who the building asks you to call. When we called initially they told us 20-30 minutes. After 30 minutes we called back and got told to "listen" by the very rude receptionist. She tried to tell us we were incorrect and that it hadn't been half an hour (even though we have proof of call time) and that "sometimes they're just running a little late. If it was more than five minutes late then she would see why we called back." It has now been almost an hour (and when we try and call it goes directly to voicemail) and we are STILL waiting on a tow truck to tow the idiot who parked in our space. I feel bad for whoever has to deal with this company once their car is towed! Sounds like they're going to get the run around as well. Scam artists who tow cars without written consent from the property owner (They need to be present for at least an hour before calling for tow) and then force you to pay impound fee. This is considered as predatory towing. When asked for proof of request for tow they cannot provide the necessary documentation. The owners and drivers NEED to be regulated and be in compliance with AB 2210. Please report this company to the local police department and the BBB. Also file a claim against them in small claims court. This all falls under AB 2210. read more

This tow company is very unprofessional. My car was towed while I was working out at 24 hr fitness. I came out and it's gone...I call the number on the signage in the parking lot. Later in the afternoon I go and pick up my car. The receptionist who probably doubles as the janitor for all I know was the most rude, disrespectful person I have ever come across in a business environment. I paid for my car and left figuring this would be the last I have to deal with this crappy company...but, unfortunately it wasn't. I start hearing this noise coming from the undercarriage of my car. When I pull over and inspect the bottom...there is a piece of plastic from the wheel well that comedy's all the way to the bottom of the bumper broken and just hanging. This was the obvious work of their incompetent tow driver who stabbed that area upon picking up my car with his tow equipment. I take a deep breath and make my phone call to RC...the receptionist cops the biggest attitude I have ever seen. She says oh we hear these complaints all the time I'm sure the damage wasn't caused by us...this is without even hearing what I had to say in detail and seeing any pictures. Her pompous attitude starts to upset me, I told her what we're they going to do about fixing this issue...her response was to please email her the pictures and she'll have a supervisor call me. She rudely reads off the email and I send the pictures. I proceed to call back and ask if she received the pictures, she rudely responds that she hasn't seen her email. I politely ask her to check it and to please let me speak to her supervisor...her supervisor isn't there today...shocking right?! She said that she will call me tomorrow...this was a week and half ago?! And guess what? I have not heard back from the supervisor. They will be hearing from my lawyer if I don't hear back by tomorrow. (Even a worker told me this is a fact) I had my car towed for the second time due to my parking pass slipping to the side window of my car. When I showed up to pick up my car it had fallen over AFTER my car was towed since I had backed my car into the parking space so they towed my car from the front. These people should do a better job at looking for permits!, common sense they move around when they're cheaply made and break so people cannot hang them on their rear view mirror and instead set them on the dashboard (like me) .
