I was visiting down in SoCal and had the bad luck of getting a flat tire a day before I was going to head back home. I planned to replace the tires before heading south but ran out of time. When I got a flat tire I knew it would not be able to be repaired. I had to scramble to find the tires to fit my vehicle and figure out how to get my vehicle to the shop in time for my reservation. I called my Roadside Service company in the morning and they used Mission Town. They arrived at the estimated time and got my vehicle to America's Tire in time for my reservation. I will be filing a case against these guys. We live in a private community. It is a gated community with a private lane. This towing company has access to our gate and they know the gate code. They are currently authorized to tow cars ONLY when they receive a complaint or receive a phone call from the home owners from the community. However, they broke this agreement and are making rounds every night with an intention to tow away cars. They make unauthorized rounds every night looking for cars parked in front of the garage and tow them away. They charge arm and leg to the owners to get their car back from thetowingv yard. And if the towing is over the weekend (Friday - Sunday), then this towing company charge the car owners double the amount for relasing the car. One of the owner's 2 cars were towed on the same night. The owner normally parks the cars inside his garage. He was cleaning his garage and hence on that particular night, he had parked his cars right outside his garage. His house is in a cul de sac and his house is the last house in the community. Therefore, him parking the car does not trouble any other home owners nor does it impede any traffic on the private lane. This towing company towed away both his cars between 1:30 AM - 2:00 AM Pacific time on Saturday early morning. The owner had to go to the towing company's yard at 8:45 AM Pacific Time, the same morning to release the cars. He had to Pay $547.50 per car. That's a total of $1095 cars for releasing both own cars that were parked in front of his garage, not disturbing or causing a problem to anybody else in the community nor the traffic on the private lane. And the cars were in towing company's yard for barely 7 hours. This is atrotious and EXTORTION. First and foremost, this towing company opening the gate and driving on a private lane without an authorized call from the community home owners is ILLEGAL. They come with an ill-intent to tow away cars and hence it is TRESPASSING and towing away the cars without warning or notifying the owners is THEFT. They deserve to be reported to the law. read more

Mission Towing shouldn't be trusted or depended upon. Very poor customer service! This morning at 6:25 am I called AAA and requested a jumpstart service. AAA said a technician from Mission Towing will arrive approximately 7:10 am. Around 7:30 am, I called AAA back and requested an update on the technician. I was told by AAA that Mission Towing had DECLINED my request. AAA said they were attempting to find a new technician to come help me. As of 8:10 am I'm still waiting for someone to come help me. Mission Towing should be embarrassed of their actions and AAA should definitely cut ties with them. I have spoken with a AAA manager and hoping they will investigate this situation. Over the phone, this driver was extremely rude, impatient, unprofessional, and refused to get out of his truck to speak with the staff -who just needed to hand over the keys- like instructed. Better yet, he lied about our interaction afterwards either in an attempt to get our AAA coverage cancelled, or save himself from trouble. Last night my son was in a collision. I called AAA to get the vehicle (a total loss) towed home. The driver showed up and I told him to take it to my home (1 mile away) he didn't like that because he receives an storage fee until insurance takes the car to salvage. The thing is, my son has his work tools in the trunk. So I said again to take the vehicle to my home. The driver said we will see! We called AAA when a distracted driver lost control of his car and veered off the road onto our driveway and smashed into the retaining wall on the side of our house. Luckily, the driver walked away, but the front end of his car was completely smashed in. Mission towing came out and the tow truck operator was professional. He had to attach a chain to the back of the car and drag it across our driveway onto his flatbed. He warned us that our cobblestone pavers would be scratched in the process. He helped sweep up some of the debris. My only complaint about mission towing is that they don't have enough vehicles on the road. We had to wait over two hours for them to arrive. read more

I had to get my daughters car towed today and I called AAA to place the request. I received a call at 10:17 am from Harut Arakelyan asking me what's wrong with the car. I told him I don't know that's why I need it towed to the mechanic. I said the car starts but I'm not a mechanic so I don't know what is wrong with it. He said he would be here in 15 minutes. He gets here and asks me again and I said I'm sorry but I've never had anyone ask what is wrong with the car when I'm trying to get the car towed to the mechanic. The driver gets irate walks around the car calls someone and hands me the keys back and says, "I'm not towing your car because you have an attitude ". First off all I can think is he's being racist because Black. In my 44 years of life I have never had a rude tow truck driver. I don't know what's wrong with the car and that is why I need it towed. But I have had run ins with RACISTS. Then to be even more of an ass he left the comments on the AAA site showing at location so I have to jump through hoops to get another tow truck. These guys were great. They showed up to minutes early they were very professional they took my car to their lot because it was really badly injured. They're not charging me for it. I called the dispatcher at 11 o'clock at night so I was concerned that I was getting charged a lot of money every day and he could've been nicer and took the time to explain everything to me. As with all the other reviews mission towing is a joke of a company and complete time wasters. Called them two times to get towed and took 90 minutes the first time for him to not even want the tow. 2nd time I physically arrived to the tow yard to get the car out ready to be towed, setup the AAA automated system and waited another 90 minutes. After not hearing from them I checked the status and it said the towed had been cancelled by them. Shame on AAA for continuing to use this BS company and wasting my whole day. Geico contacted Mission for my tow after the previous company decided not to pick me up and didn't tell me or cancel with Geico. I had been waiting 2 and a half hours for a tow by the time Geico was able to connect me with the new company so I was not happy. John, however, called me as soon as I was connected to the new company, was very kind, and arrived 15 minutes before his ETA. Was having my truck towed into a body shop when the guy who picked my truck up on a flatbed proceeded to not listen to me at all when I yelled "STOP". By the way I was in the truck WITH him as he drove too close to a tree and dragged some huge branches down the entire side of the truck, scratching it from the front bumper to rear. When confronted about the scratch he put on my truck he then threatened me. I called the office to get their insurance information to cover the scratch at which point John, just a fake name given to me cause they're incredibly shady, told me he wouldn't be giving me any of their information and they wouldn't be doing anything to take care of the new scratches they put down the side of the truck. So now I'm the victim of an incompetent driver, and a shady business and there's nothing I can do about it somehow.
