In early January 2022, my car completely died in the middle of the 10 Freeway Eastbound. Luckily, traffic was bumper to bumper, and two good Samaritan's helped me push my car to the shoulder. AAA was supposed to send me a tow truck within fifty minutes. After 30 min of waiting, I received a call from the towing company saying that they could only tow me off of the freeway as they did not have any drivers to tow my car 22 miles to my mechanic. I called AAA again to request another towing service and was asked to wait. Each time I made a call, they would put me on hold for 9-10 minutes, draining my cellphone battery by at least 5 percent. I was getting very worried when my phone battery was running low. After several calls, AAA representative finally called back and said that I had to either wait until 6 pm or I could seek a third party towing service. So, I called one local business I found on yelp, but he asked for cash payment only. I mean, does everybody carry hundred of dollars in cash? Oscar was the second guy I called. He gave me a reasonable quote to tow my car 22 miles, and he accepts credit card payments. Oscar arrived over an hour later, understandably because it was during rush hour. I had been waiting on the shoulder of the freeway for a total of 3 hours since AAA wasn't able to find anyone to tow my car. Obviously, I was very relieved and happy to see Oscar. It was almost 5:30 pm and the sky was already dark. Oscar asked me to wait in his truck. Five minutes later he was back in the truck driving me and my car to my mechanic. But he kept pushing for more information. Then he also wanted the year of the car. That shouldn't even matter. He then tried to charge me $350 for going 10 miles because I have a McLaren. Such an amazing company & workers . Ethical , efficient and reliable. I was involved in an accident and my car was left unable to operate. I was at the scene for 4 hours before my insurance could get me a towing company. They where supposed to come out within 50 min but never showed up .
