I will be filing a case against these guys. We live in a private community. It is a gated community…read morewith a private lane. This towing company has access to our gate and they know the gate code. They are currently authorized to tow cars ONLY when they receive a complaint or receive a phone call from the home owners from the community. However, they broke this agreement and are making rounds every night with an intention to tow away cars. They make unauthorized rounds every night looking for cars parked in front of the garage and tow them away. They charge arm and leg to the owners to get their car back from thetowingv yard. And if the towing is over the weekend (Friday - Sunday), then this towing company charge the car owners double the amount for relasing the car. One of the owner's 2 cars were towed on the same night. The owner normally parks the cars inside his garage. He was cleaning his garage and hence on that particular night, he had parked his cars right outside his garage. His house is in a cul de sac and his house is the last house in the community. Therefore, him parking the car does not trouble any other home owners nor does it impede any traffic on the private lane. This towing company towed away both his cars between 1:30 AM - 2:00 AM Pacific time on Saturday early morning. The owner had to go to the towing company's yard at 8:45 AM Pacific Time, the same morning to release the cars. He had to Pay $547.50 per car. That's a total of $1095 cars for releasing both own cars that were parked in front of his garage, not disturbing or causing a problem to anybody else in the community nor the traffic on the private lane. And the cars were in towing company's yard for barely 7 hours. This is atrotious and EXTORTION. First and foremost, this towing company opening the gate and driving on a private lane without an authorized call from the community home owners is ILLEGAL. They come with an ill-intent to tow away cars and hence it is TRESPASSING and towing away the cars without warning or notifying the owners is THEFT. They deserve to be reported to the law.

Called them through AAA for a simple flat tire. The driver looked at my E36 323i and assured me that using wood blocks for his flatbed might leave "a couple of minor cosmetic scratches on the bumper." Based on his professional promise, I signed the waiver. Instead of a couple of bumper scratches, the driver violently compressed the shredded tire up into the wheel well during loading/unloading, leaving me with: * A destroyed front bumper cover * A severely crushed, buckled passenger fender * Broken mounting tabs on the rocker panel * A chewed-up wheel lip To top it off, he dropped the car on the street at my house and sped off before anyone could walk around it to inspect the damage. Now they are hiding behind the "minor scratch waiver" to dodge accountability for gross negligence. Save yourself a massive repair bill and do NOT let CarGeeks anywhere near your vehicle.
