Costco damaged my wheel stud while performing tire rotation and recommended me to come and fix it here. I guess it's pretty frequent that they damage customers wheels. Fortunately TLC tires fixed it for me. They were very honest and price is affordable. Even I suggested to change out the whole thing which they can charge me a lot more money but they just recommended me to just fix it which cost only a fraction of the cost of the replacement. I pulled up without an appointment and was taken care of almost immediately. I needed a plug to repair a slow leak on the right side front tire . Once the tire was removed , other damage that needed to be addressed was shown to me. This action indicated to me that these guys were honest and not out to scam me, the unknowing customer. Stay away from this unhonest and unethical business. This is the second time that they try to scam us. The first time, my uncle brought his car in and they tried saying the rack and pinion was horrible and needed to be changed asap. We took it to our usual mechanic, and it was UNTRUE. Today, my brother and I took another car in, just needing a basic alignment. Two salesperson tried scamming us. One tried to say my entire suspension was out (absolutely untrue!), and the second one used their typical scammy "yOuR rAcK & PiNiOn iS dOnE fOr". Horrible service, unethical, and absolutely stay away. If you make the unfortunate mistake of coming here, make sure you're aware of any costs as they upsell unnecessary things like crazy! read more

We were at Costco getting new tires installed and installer called to let us know that one of the lug nuts wouldn't budge. They suggested we go to nearby TLC Tires & Alignment to let them try to loosen it and check if the stud was broken - a whole other potential problem. TLC not only removed the "frozen" lug nut, but checked and loosened all the lug nuts on each wheel so that we could return to Costco and have the new tires installed - and they weren't going to charge us for doing this! I'm am skeptical of any repair shop(no offense) and I check reviews,as I also leave them good or bad. I chalked up the neg ones for this shop as typical for people who ask for services which normally carry a fee but want for free. I brought in my volvo and requested my quote(free as usual) sat on it for a few days to do check reviews and took the plunge today. Honesty the entire shop including Chuy were really nice. My quote was reasonable as it was a basically front suspension rebuild, but more importantly they were honest, that goes a long way so I added a few extras and will be bringing in my second car for some work. The guys at TLC Tires are heroes. I was riding my bike along the Orange Line bike path when, all of a sudden my rear tire pressure started getting lower and lower, and then it was flat. I didn't have a pump with me, but I spotted TLC Tires on the corner and figured I could ask them to use theirs. I was going to try and patch my tire myself, which would've taken forever, but these guys went above and beyond and offered to do it themselves. They had my bike flipped over, the tire and tube off, and had found the hole in minutes. Then they used their car tools to patch it up and had everything put back together and me back on the road in 20 minutes. They were so kind, professional, and efficient. Their patch has held up better than one I had done at a bike shop, and TLC only charged me $15 to get it fixed. I cannot recommend them more highly. read more

Took my 06 G35 here for an alignment after installing suspension components I provided. Before I had these parts installed my alignment was perfect, the only issue I was having was the rear camber on the driver side (due to accident) these guys somehow managed to ruin everything. The alignment is completely off. My steering wheel isn't even straight. These guys have no clue what they are doing. They even damaged the new parts I just had installed. I nearly died on the way home from work because of the toe. A slight right turn on the freeway nearly lost control of the car twice. I was driving 60 mph. DO NOT EVEN BOTHER TO GO HERE. I am beyond upset with this shop that it boggles my mind how they have good reviews. Possibly shady business to receive them. Main issue was the driver rear wheel. I told them I want it close to OE specs as these cars had toe and camber from the factory. They completely made my car run like sh*t. If I could I'd rate this shop a -5, idk how they're even still open. UPDATE Decided to give them a second chance. They managed to make it worse. I do NOT recommend these guys whatsoever. TLC Tires are garbage. The second alignment I got from TLC is posted UPDATE These guys had the audacity to tell me to take down my review because it's "bad for business" Are you seriously asking a customer to take down a honest review? Came home from vacation to find a flat tire. Called up the guys from TLC and they quoted me a fair price for some used Goodyear tires. I got there and had the fellas check to see where my flat tire was leaking from. They inflated and dunked it into the water to find no leaks. Put it back on my car with no qualms. Absolutely bad experience. They do shady business. I stop by for estimate price for alignment. They didn't want to say exact price. They ask me to bring car so they can lift it. Nobody told me that check up would cost me $50. So by the end SURPRISE ) you need to pay. I told them this is wrong way to do business you should tell me about any charges before you start. Answer I got it's "obvious". No for me it's not obvious you extort money. So why it's not $40 or $100? Very bad to take advantage of people like this. SCAMS. OVERPRICED SERVICE. Came in with my own tires and asked him for a deal to install and balance all 4. Instead of 15$ each he knocked it down to 10$ each so 40$ in the end for all 4 tires. Not until the end when everything was done he says it's 15$ extra per tire to balance and 10 just to install them on. I let him know how he did not explain that to me and that's why I had asked for a deal. He kept telling me how he was right and he couldnt take a loss. Went back here and told them what happened and they said the brakes THEY INSTALLED ONLY HAD A 6 month warranty!!!!! WTF?!?! 6 month warranty?!?!?! I have never ever heard of brakes having a 6 month warranty!!!! I'm no car genius so I asked 6 other people if they have EVER heard of new brakes having a 6 month warranty. They ALL said NO!!!! They all said that all brakes have a limited lifetime warranty!!!!! These guys here are SCAMMERS who say that there parts are new and they are definitely NOT!!!! Yesturday I took my Toyota Scion XB to T.L.C Tires to get used tires, brakes done along with change of rotors. As I was driving I notice the shaking or vibration in my steering wheel. I went back to the T.L.C Tires to let them know about the new problem I have. The technician said that I didn't pay for new rotors just paid for them to be resurfaced. Initially I asked for brand new rotors. Instead he just cut the rotors. Luckily I noticed the problem and went back due to my concern. Waste of time and money, had to pay for new rotors after I "thought" I already paid for it. Overall I wouldn't come back. Discovered a nail in my tire at 5:00 on Saturday night. Pep Boys had a 3 hour wait. Saw this place and pulled in. 15 minutes and 15 dollars later I was on my way with my tire fixed! The guys were friendly and fast, so appreciate that that they took care of me right away. They said it was a family owned business and you can tell, they were all so attentive and kind. Went in for a rear brake job, but unfortunately, they managed to mess up the calipers which now have to be replaced. They claim they are not responsible despite being the ones that broke it. I would not recommend coming here unless you want them to damage your car. read more

Was revered here by another company. They said it was only $60 for alignment. I tried to go there and drop my car off but they said it's $25 just to check it and $60 if they only need to do one adjustment and extra charge if they need to do more. I offer them $60 cash to do the alignment because that's what I was told and that's what they told me before my wife and baby you got out of the car. But they want to be stupid and lose business even though they only had one customer who got a used tire. Don't waste your time, it's just another shady company with hidden fees. read more
