Two years later and I went back because the tire indicator on my Porsche said the tire was flat. Ramon helped me, took the tire off, and saw that the tire was perfectly fine and realized it was the sensor that wasn't working. He was very helpful by helping me with the tire service when he had a garage full of cars. And he didn't charge me but I still gave him money for checking out my car. Thank you Ramon and TLC Tires, you guys never disappoint. read more

On my way to Los Angeles from Merced, one of my rear tires was badly damaged. I managed to reach Los Angeles using the small spare tire. It was my first time in the city, I did not know anyone, and I simply searched online for a nearby used-tire shop. TLC Tires on Oxnard Street appeared in the results. What I experienced there was professionalism at the highest level, but even more importantly, genuine kindness. I asked Ramon for a used tire, and he gave me two options priced at $60 and $70. Both were reasonable for the price, and I chose the $70 option. However, Ramon quietly decided that the tire he had selected was not good enough. He went back, found a new tire, and then changed his mind again because he wanted to give me an even better one. He never announced that he was giving me a new tire. He simply installed it and charged me only the used-tire price. On my first day in Los Angeles, Ramon made a lasting impression on me. This experience was about much more than replacing a tire. It reminded me that there are kind people everywhere who do good things without expecting recognition or anything in return. Thank you, Ramon, for your professionalism, honesty, and generosity. I will always remember your kindness. read more

Great service- efficient, professional. Ramon quickly arrived at Whole Foods underground parking structure and replaced slashed tire . AAA sent 2 separate tow trucks they arrived but both unable to drive down the underground ramp due to the low ceiling in structure of Sherman Oaks Whole Foods. It was rainy during holiday week Jan 2,2026. I am grateful for the prompt service by TLC. Ramon removed tire, took tire to shop, remove rim, replace tire, returned to install tire (245-50-20 special size) all in parking lot. Very Grateful, Angel A read more

I've been here a dozen times to get flats fixed and it has always been fast and affordable. I came in this time to get new tires and was with a curious kid that wanted to learn and asked loads of questions. Young guy doing the work wasn't bothered by any of it and answered with care. Rare to have that level of service these days. read more

Wow, oh wow!! This place is a hidden gem!!! Raymon is super humble and ethically honest! I was turned down by four tire shops. I drive a Mercedes and my tires are run flats. The Mercedes dealership on Van Nuys , and American tires in SHERMAN OAKS both wanted to rip me off and have me pay over $500 to get my tire fixed. I had a bolt in my left rear tire. I google search tire shops near me in Van Nuys and called TLC Tires, spoke to Raymond, He said come in and he will take a look at it. He took a look at it. He said that the tire was fixable that the other companies wanted to rip me off. He said at his place they work ethically it doesn't matter what kind of car I drive I pay the same amount to get the car patched. He checked out my brakes, put air in all my tires I was in and out within 10 minutes. He literally saved me $530!!! I will be forever grateful, and a loyal customer!! I gave them both tips, bought them food and Starbucks. If you come here to get your tire service, please bring them gifts, tip them well . They do such a great job and I'm just so thankful that I didn't have to pay a lot of money during a time like this. Thank you raymon!!! You're the best!!! read more

Called TLC and David answered. Told him my problem and thankfully he had 1 used tire in my size with 60-70% life left. Quoted me $100 out the door and even checked my other tire that was also low PSI just to be safe. Was in and out within 30 minutes! Appreciate the help!! read more

Wow they are lifesavers! I had gotten a tire from another place and noticed it was losing air. They were closed by the time I arrived and I was frantic to get help. I noticed the sign and that they were opened so drove over. I explained they I'd just bought two used tires earlier that but that one was losing air and was worried about getting home to LA. They said they'd look at it. I told the young man that my car said one tire was low but the one losing air didn't register with the warning light. He checked both tires and than took the one losing air off. As he was working an older gentleman doublechecked and explained that they hadn't screwed it in properly and that it was being poked. They repaired the tire and checked all four for me! They were really nice and charged me $20 to fix the tire. They are my new valley tire people. They did a thorough job and no more flat tire! read more
