Last October, I had a tire emergency and they helped me past 5:00 -- even tho they were technically closing! Very fair pricing, and SUPER customer service. Everyone here has always made me feel very comfortable and taken care of! Highly recommend. Thank you to Martin for the help today! read more

Came in 5/15 for a flat tire. Was charged 65 for a used tire. Two days later noticed that my tire was loosing a tiny bit of air and leaking. Went on a trip on 5/18, came back to a flat tire on 5/24. Came to ask if I can get it swapped. They AT LEAST gave me a discount on ANOTHER used tire. I drove probably 35 miles from the 15th-18th. They claimed that there was tear on the used tire which idk how that can happen when my commute is on the 405 and Beverly. Glen. Sure. read more

Avoid This Place I had a very bad experience at Oxnard Tires New and Used. The owner tried to charge me $50 just for a simple tire patch, which is completely unreasonable. When I questioned it, he lied and claimed there was "wear and tear" on my tire to justify the price, even though that had nothing to do with the puncture. It felt dishonest and like he was trying to scam me instead of being upfront. I would not recommend this shop if you're looking for fair pricing or honest service. read more

Fast, friendly and fair. Jorge, the manager, is great. He does't try to up-sell you, just tells you honestly what needs to be done and gets it done quickly, effectively, and very reasonably. This is an 'old-school' tire shop, no 'customer lounge' with a broken cofffee machine - just honest, down to earth service. Thank you. read more

Quick service, guys are friendly, in and out in about 15 minutes. And great prices also! Will definitely recommend them to everyone!

I bought 2 used tires for about $130. Both went flat within 2 months, one day apart from each other. When I called to ask if they'd replace or patch, given the short life of the tires, guy just said "no warranties on used" and that was that. There are 50 other tire shops in Van Nuys. Choose one of them. read more

The prices for tires here are really great. But I came in and had my tires replaced, and the tech had no idea what psi to sent them to. So after starting my car after getting home from the tire shop, all of my tires are under deflated. How do you not know the proper psi for the tires are installing not only is this a huge inconvenience, but a safety concern. Now instead of having two tires with a problem all four of them do soooo thanks for nothing read more

I can't thank Oxnard Tires enough for their fast and reliable service. After discovering a nail in my tire, a friend recommended I check them out. The next morning, I drove straight there, and luckily, they weren't too busy when I arrived. As soon as I parked, one of the workers came over. I explained the situation, and after a quick look, he spotted the nail and asked me to wait a couple of minutes. Shortly after, he had me pull up closer to the shop. I stayed in the car while he jacked it up, removed the tire, and rolled it away for the repair. In what felt like no time at all, he was back with the patched tire and had it reinstalled. When I asked how much I owed, he simply directed me to the office to pay--and just like that, I was back on the road with money saved and peace of mind. I truly appreciate the honest, no-fuss service and the work they do for the community. These guys are a Godsend, and I'm incredibly grateful. Thank you again, Oxnard Tires! read more

Service fee of $20 to change the tire that the guy didn't mention upfront. What a rip off for a used tire. My son went there and was told $50 . Once he paid they added an additional $20. I called the shop and whoever answered said yes $20 to change tire and hung up. Unprofessional read more

I had a nail in my run flat tires and needed to get it patched. I've been to Oxnard Tires before for a patch so I was happy they were able to do a run flat tire. I looked at my tech, Ashmeal, as he did the whole process and I'm content. Only time will tell how long they hold up. But I would do an update if anything. Jorge was kind. The team were nice. And it's very busy. read more

5/18/24 DO NOT RECOMMEND Hi yelpers! I don't yelp to often but need to get into the habit of it more because some businesses make solving issues a bit more of a headache and stressful. I came here because of another shops bad service. Right away had what I needed. Gave me a discount so thank you guy at front. But deep down I feel they could've been worth less. HOWEVER, it's just near the end of my service. One of the specialist throws the tire 1-2 feet away into my vehicle. Shocking. 20 minutes later now the reality is hitting. Then, I called the man at the front after being in shock. Called explaining what I experienced as a customer. In the end they said they cannot help me resolve this. And he tired to play off that he gave me a discount before hand. Believing it would substitute for the man throwing the tire into my car after a price was settled on. NEXT, So if a tech treats it like that in front of me. Imagine how nice he is treating your wheels when they take them to the back. There shop has a wall of tires and the machines behind it. Only could hear not see them work it. FINALLY, DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! read more

I have the absolute worst luck with getting nails in my tires! I don't know why my car has become a nail magnet but I'm not liking it! But I digress - Oxnard Tires was so helpful in replacing my tire. I was in and out of there in minutes. I recommend coming early if you can as it's a shared lot with Castle Automotive and it gets a little tight with cars every which way. read more

Such a wonderful experience! The team at this tire shop is incredibly kind and professional. We had a flat front tire, and the gentleman who helped us (sorry I didn't catch your name!) was so friendly and sincere. We were in a rush to go, but I wanted to make sure I expressed my appreciation for his assistance. This turned out to be a great tire and I had no problems with it. I'm her updating my review because I'm in need of another used tire, and I'm going back to these guys again. Used tires are usually fine, as long as you check the date. If they're too old, some shops won't rotate them. They'll tell you they aren't allow to mount tires over seven years old. Of course, just like almost everything else, expiration date recommendations are at best simply based on correlational data and aren't hard and fast rules that need to be strictly followed. read more

Affordable, honest, fast and amazing service. Highly recommend. If you need new tires or repair. Head over to Oxnard!

I've been coming here for years and always recommended this place to friends/family. Came in today for a fast patch on a brand new tire that got a nail in it. I knew the cost was $40 and didn't care about the high cost, I just needed it done quickly. All of that was fine, but after I paid and was getting ready to leave, the guy who did the repair came up and said "you have a tip for me?". I chuckled and said "no". I've never experienced a tire shop asking me to give them an additional tip. From now on I'll drive a couple more miles to another shop. read more

I have run flats, and because there is so much construction in LA, I've picked up quite a few nails over the years, and unfortunately have a lot of experience having tire shops repair or replace tires . This weekend I picked up something unusual that looked like it had torn the tread, so I figured I would probably need a used tire. I decided to try Van Nuys Tire based on the reviews here. No joke, they had the old tire off and the new (used) tire on and inflated in under 15 minutes. $130 and zero upselling. They were shockingly efficient. I will definitely come here when I need new tires. read more

Highly recommend- taken 4 different vehicles with 4 different nails/screws for plugs. Always super quick, friendly and honest (when you take expensive cars there and they don't try to sell you a new tire, you know it's an honest place). Thanks! read more

With all the construction going on near my home, I knew that it was only a matter of time before a nail found its way into my tire. I called Van Nuys Tire before I headed over there to make sure that they were still open for the day and asked if they had time to see me. My tire could not be patched but fortunately they had a single tire for a reasonable price. I paid cash, got a receipt, and was out of there in about 15 minutes tops. The next day, I was getting ready to leave and saw that my 'new' tire was completely flat. I was so stressed coz I had to be somewhere in a couple hours and don't know how to put on a spare. Luckily my BF was able to help me and also offered to take my car back to Van Nuys Tire so that I wouldn't be late. The guys at the shop recognized my car and didn't hassle my BF for the cash receipt or anything... they apologized for the inconvenience and swapped the tire out. My BF said they were cool and had it taken care of in less than 10 minutes. Thank you guys for the fast service and good prices! read more

I called to see how much it costs to patch a tire, he said depends on type of car you have. Keep in mind that has nothing to do with patching. I asked is it based on type of tire or value of car, he said both laughing. I said how does size of tire matter when all you do is take off tire and put "bandage" instead(it doesn't matter he just leaving space up to up charge) Bad service, attitude response, once he found out I had more of an expensive car the price doubled. Don't trust this, tire plus is 10-15$ takes 5 minutes..patch is 20-30$ takes 15. I don't care about price I just don't like when people think there cleaver. If I let everyone moron rip me off I wouldn't have the car your trying to upcharge for. read more

If you need a wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am service, come on over the Van Nuys tire. My boyfriend had a flat tire which needed to be replaced and friends recommended we come here for a good, new-used tire and good service. They were right! Friendly Staff, took a good look at the wheel and the tire was replaced quickly -- maybe in 15 or so minutes once the new one was chosen. The only strange thing to me is that they didn't have the correct lug nuts for the tire, so we had to go to an Auto shop to buy them and bring them back. Luckily, that didn't take too long on a weekday so I can't imagine what that would be like on a weekend. Leave the wife and the kids at home since the waiting area is four, fold-able metal chairs outside the office where you pay. No water or any beverage situation as you wait, this is the real deal. At least there's a gender neutral bathroom. All in all, very satisfied with the new tire -- it looks great! read more

Very cheap. Got my front left tire patched for 25 dollars when the going market rate was forty-five bucks plus. I got into an argument however, when a week later, I noticed the same tires hubcap to be missing. I concluded it to be the result of not fastening it post patch; or at least correctly. Owner Jorge reached out to me and replaced my hubcap for free. Would consider their services in the future as a I regard this to be a rare occurrence. read more

Excellent service! This was my first visit to Van Nuys Tires and it definitely won't be my last. I was referred to them by my friend. The staff was super friendly and incredibly fast. I went to have my tires replaced and expected to be waiting around for hours. As I started doing some work on my phone, the car was ready. I couldn't believe how quickly they turned it around. Plus, there were several other customers there too so it wasn't a slow day. read more
