Oh hell nah!
Mike M.

Not sure where the bad reviews come from, but I received top notch service late at night at around 8pm. I was checking my car before a scheduled family road trip and realized a tire had a nail in it, and I was not about to risk driving long hours with that in my tire. This was the day before, and late in the day, it turned out this place is open late, and I gave them a call. They quoted me 40 dollars for a used tire. I just needed something that would get me through my trip, and they had it. When I arrived there was a little wait; being the only tired shop open late, I expected it. Once it was my turn, the team changed my tire quickly and even showed me the one I was getting and why it was $40 and considered used but reassured me it still had good life in it, and it did, and it served me well. Got through a total of 2880 miles of driving on this road trip with no issues. This place literally saved my life and my trip. I found my go-to tire spot should I ever need another one. Great team!

Nail in tire.

We ran over a nail and we're losing air fast. This business was open (and is open until 10pm most days!) and we're quick to take us, help and get us back on the road with really affordable service. HIGHLY recommend and we will be returning to then for all our tire needs!

Came here with my F-250 which had a flat. I got a phone call so walked away to take it since the wrenches were very loud. I turned around and the truck was done! Very fair price. I thanked the guy and left. It was like a nascar pit stop. Didn't have to wait, didn't have to sign anything just paid and left. Easy and fast.

Hamati Tires

This company claimed they didn't have any used tires for my SUV. They claimed to only have new tires starting at $120 each. When I agreed to pay them, they claimed to only accept cash. No credit card. Which is interesting considering its 2025 and they should at least have offered an alternate payment such as Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, etc. Very unfortunate experience.

Easiest flat repair ever! I was there for maybe 15 minutes. You needn't spend your whole day for something simple.

They were able to help me plug a tire with a nail in it on a Friday night. The workers are honest. They take cash. Great value.

Where do I start! So I have a Tesla and I ended up getting a screw embedded in one of my tires. I…read morewas freaking out thinking I would have to take it to the Tesla Service Center to have it fixed and pay an unimaginable amount. I luckily remembered to go to my trusty Yelp app and search for places that service Tesla tires. Davis Bros Tires was the first to pop up and so I sent them a message just looking to get a quote on their services. I was so surprised that they responded to me right away even though it was 9:30pm at night! I was so appreciative of their responsiveness to my questions and the fact that I could be serviced next day. So next day, I arrive at 7:30am and was greeted by a wonderful older gentleman that was at the front desk. He told me to pull my car in and that they would get to it right away. As I was waiting, I saw a few people come in and strike up conversations amongst each other. I overheard them say they only go here for their car needs and it definitely offered me some reassurance and peace of mind that I took my car to right place. After waiting for about an hour, my car tire was patched and ready to go. The gentlemen told me that it takes a bit longer to patch Tesla tires because they have foam in them. I had no idea and thanked him for the information. The price was great and I definitely will be back for anything my car needs. They are honest and sincere here and you can tell they aren't one of those places looking to rip anyone off. They have a wall of celebrities that have taken their cars there over the years and that goes to show that they take pride in their work. I would definitely recommend David Bros Tires to anyone who is looking for quality work at an affordable price! Thank you guys sooo much! XOXO

I've been to Davis Bros a few times over the years, but my last visit left a bad taste in my mouth,…read moreand I won't be returning. In September 2024, David Bros serviced my brakes. For some time now, I've been hearing very loud squeaking from my brakes, so I brought my car back to Davis Bros. I know some squeaking can be normal, but what I've been hearing sounded abnormal, and it was extremely loud. I felt the person who assisted me was really dismissive, but he had a mechanic check my brakes. I completely understand they are busy, and I had no issue waiting or leaving my car to come back later. About 10 minutes later, I was told my brakes were great; there was just dust and dirt they couldn't clean off. I responded, "Really? It seems so loud!" and he assured me everything was fine. Another customer in the waiting area called me "annoying," I guess because I was questioning their expertise. I have always trusted David Bros, but I knew something was not right. I took my car to another mechanic a few hours later, and it turns out that the shims were missing from the front pads. The shims were not missing before my brake service at Davis Bros in 2024. At the very least, they could have left the old shims in. I'm really disappointed the shop didn't fully replace the parts during my last brake service, and even more disappointed they didn't catch it when they rushed me out this week. Again, I understand they are busy, and my brakes may not be a big deal compared to all of the other services being provided that day, but this experience has completely turned me off from returning.

However, I took my car "that I've always taken to the dealer for an oil change" here. And the next day it was leaking oil everywhere. Unfortunately, I wasn't in town to bring it right away, and had to bring it back to the shop about 2 weeks later . (Still leaking btw) they said it was the "gasKeT" and I would have to pay another $48 to get this repaired. They said I should have brought it the day after i got the oil changed. Later after all the back and forth they offered to cover the costs for labor ,but I would have to pay for the part. Which was $3. I did not expect for them to charge me at all considering i had returned literally about 2 weeks later. (And called them over the phone twice to advise what was going on" They said i was "taking advantage" and told me god was watching. They said there was no way of knowing the part was damaged or defective . In my opinion they should have checked the gasket while doing the oil change . I ended up paying $10 which I didn't feel was fair but; at least they could pay off their $3 part they replaced. Next day after the lecture and "repair" ITS LEAKING AGAIN! haaaahahah now I have to go to the dealer and figure out what they broke on my car. I'm glad I didn't pay the $48 the second time around considering I came in with a car that was perfectly fine and left with a leaking car . THANK YOU LA TIRES AND AUTO BODY SHOP !!! :) I've spent $120 total for oil, filter, labor, a "gasket" and now I have a car with a bigger problem and NO OIL . DO NOT GO HERE !

They said they could and so I eventually brought it down. They did the alignment, and they did tell me "they did the best they could" and sent me on my way. The car just wasn't right. After some investigating on my part, I found that the shock tower was cracked and was messing with the upper control arm, making it difficult/impossible to align correctly. Was this their fault? Absolutely not. The car was in a wreck in the 80s (which I also shared with them) so I knew there were risks. However, I do feel that they saw this (given that the car was on the lift and in their face) and said nothing. Is it their responsibility to tell me? Also no.. but the fact that they charged me for the alignment, just said "we did our best" and sent me on my way seems a bit shady to me. A simple, "hey, we saw this crack and it's gonna give you issues in the near future" wouldn't have only been appreciated, but I also feel like it would've been the right thing to do.
