I have gone here a few times for used tires because I have wide rims and it's a waste of money buying new ones because they go bald so fast. I really like Sam and his team. They don't constantly try to upsell me. They listen to me and what I am asking for and if they have what I need, they offer good prices. Sam also gave me a website where I can find used parts for my older Lexus. As a woman it's gets frustrating when you feel like men in the automotive industry are trying to scam you! My tire was quickly going flat when I pulled in to their lot. I only had $20 and they charge $30. They kept giving me the go around "asking the boss" if it was ok to patch my tire. They eventually agreed to do it for $20 but also shamed me repeatedly for not having the correct amount. It was an emergency landing, I did not expect to get a massive screw in my tire, otherwise I would've gone to my preferred place that charges $10. I asked about their pricing for new tires to give them more business but I was rudely dismissed. Needless to say, I do not recommend this place and I will not be going back. read more

So I had my low pressure light turn on in my car today.I went to Astro tires since its near my home. Leo right away pleastly greeted me and asked me how he can help me. He checked all four of my tires for the level of air and noticed one of my tires was really low and had a nail. He fixed it quickly and I have rhinestone dice shape, tire plugs and they were handled with care and put back on. Other places have tired to keep them. So I had a scuff in the sidewall of my tire. I drive a lot and the last thing I need is a blowout. I came through Astro this afternoon. The man checked my tire out, said it was a surface scratch and nothing was punctured, and the tire was safe to drive on. With that, I was on my way! My point? This spot is honest - he could've just said I needed a tire, but he didn't. This is my new spot when I actually need tires! I leased a vehicle and the auto maker was asking for $300 per tire to replace the tires with low tread that I had on the vehicle. Sam sold me 2 tires at a fraction of the cost, which also included the labor to put the tires on. Moreover, they replaced my tires in 30 minutes. I was in and out quickly and saved a large amount. Had what I thought was a small hole but after further inspection at Astro tires it turned out to be 3/4 of an inch gash in the tire of my loaner car. They were able to replace it for me for only $60 and it took less than 10 minutes. I have never been more pleased with the efficiency and price of a service. I brought back today because I didn't have time during the week and they did not honor the warranty to repair the flat; they charge me another $20. I don't think they inspect used tires before selling them. I don't recommend buying used tires from this shop. read more

This is the most garbage, lying, overcharging, shady af, crooked poor excuse for a, " business " I have never been soo disgusted and appalled at the 4, " brand new" tires I had put on 3 days ago.. drove 7 miles and my car immediately went into limp mode and my tmps late flashed and my Hill assist locked and I almost crashed going down Topanga because of limp mode pulled off finally into a parking lot and after crying my eyes out I realized I have my own tire air pressure so I filled up my tires as best as I could to get it out of limp mode in order to even get home and long story short I take it back this morning to them and tell them what happened and that I want a refund and they almost caused me to get an accident and kill somebody because of their negligence and their just this despicable business practices and they basically had the nerve to tell me to f off do not ever deal with this garbage company I assure you you will regret it and they will they will charge you for stuff that you never agreed to and didn't authorize and by the way the manager or owner or whomever he is is a complete jerk and talks down to you like you're an effing idiot and disrespects you like a piece of garbage stay away from this place.. know wonder they're rating is a 4.2 out of 5 read more

I purchased used tires that were supposed to be at 80-90%. They didn't set the pressure right so I immediately had to go back and have them fix. Then when we went to get a tire rotation with an oil change, the place said the lug nuts couldn't be removed. We took it back to Astro and they said they couldn't take them off either and to go to Brakemasters. Brakemasters said that Astro put the wrong lug nuts on and we had to pay $65 to get them removed. They also said the tires were at 30-40% and it hadn't even been a year since we bought the tires from Astro. I believe that Astro sold us tires well below the 80-90% they claimed. I called Astro to speak to the manager about all this and the technician essentially told me to F off. I believe Astro tires staff to be unqualified and dishonest. read more

My tire started losing air on the 101 and when I pulled off the road and checked it there was a little metal thing sticking out tot the tire and the whoosh of air was audible. I called the closest tire places, which were both bigger chains. One said they were busy so it would take a while and the other told me to come back tomorrow. Then I called Astro, he said come on by and I'll try to fix it. Made it there, and he fixed in in about 10 mins for $20. Good service, fast and easy, what's not to recommend? read more

Every time I come here, the staff is friendly and helpful. My tires are always getting low.... Either from a nail or just usage... and they never push to buy new. Today I came in and asked them to check my tires. I was told that the two front ones need to be changed and that the back ones still have thread. So I got 2 used tires from my Toyota Corolla for $120 replaced within less than 20 minutes. If you need good quick service and reasonable prices.... This is your spot. :) read more
