So we paid $125 for someone to come and immediately say it's not worth fixing. I think they knew ahead of time it wasn't worth fixing but sent someone out anyway and took our money. They were nice on the phone, stated they would charge us a tech call fee to come out and determine what the issue was which is understandable. They stated after they figure out what the problem is, they would apply the $125 service call to the bill if we moved forward with the repairs. After the service guy came out, which he was very nice and knowledgeable, he stated it was the 2 small switches in front and our transformer underneath. Stated it was $680 - $125 for everything. We agreed but they stated they had to order the parts and they would come back the following week around Tuesday. Tuesday came and we did not hear from them. I called them on Wednesday and they stated the parts came in and would have someone call me. Again, another day went by and no one called. I had to call back in where they told me they could not come out until Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week and would put us on the 1st stop at 8am. We scheduled for Tuesday. 8:20am came by and no word. I called and asked if someone was coming and the lady stated the service guy had to stop by the parts store to pickup the parts and then would head our way. The guy finally showed up at 8:45am. Mind you, I was advised the previous week by 2 people the parts were in and they already had them on hand. After the service guy installed the 2 switches which took about 10 -15 min, he started on the transformer. After we swapped out the transformer, he proceeded to advise us that it was not the transformer but most likely something with the internal wiring and they would have to pull the built in fridge out and start to tear things apart to find out where the break in the wire was bad. We did not want to spend the money on that. They ended up billing us $400 for 2 switches. I spoke to the manager and he stated they don't charge by the hour, just what the billing time states for the parts. I asked him for a breakdown of labor and parts and he stated they don't do invoices that way. I would assume it is THEIR way of covering all the labor they did on our fridge for something that did not need to be replaced which they misdiagnosed from the beginning. Now, here comes more horrible service: I looked under the fridge to see how things were put back as I had a bad feeling after what they did on the above. The service guy only put 1 screw back on to hold the cover plate. He did not put the other 2 screws on. After I took the cover plate off, the service guy did not put the transformer cover back on as well. He shoved it back under the fridge and put all the screws under the fridge laying on the ground. Every time you call this place, they asked you how they can put a smile on your face. What a joke. I would never use this company nor recommend them. They did not finish the job and wasted our time/money.

Donald did a good job at a reasonable price replacing an angle stop valve for the supply line for…read moremy toilet. It was a nightmare situation as a previous contractor broke it and left me abandoned and my main water supply wouldn't turn off so I could literally not sleep for 24 hours as I had to empty a bowl every 30 to 60 minutes (the supply valve is low so it would not accommodate anything larger underneath) or it would flood and ruin the new flooring that was just installed. It did ruin my brand new baseboard that I had just had installed the day before. He kept blaming me saying by turning the giant nut I somehow ruined the pipe which I don't understand but I did everything to try and loosen the bolt under urgent and impossible conditions and stress and I found no special instructions or tool that specified one as a necessity to use on it in all my research or that I had done anything wrong, but it had been there for 30 years and was fused on tight and wouldn't budge even with two vise grips. With the flooding happening I was desperate to get it removed so I thought that his continuous commentary was strange. He also said I had to loosen that nut clockwise as if it were reversely threaded but discovered that was not the case multiple times in my research so again I'm very confused. If something had been critically missed I wish he would've at least told me or made it clear what my alternative was otherwise assigning blame does little good; I am not an experienced plumber. I did not see nor was ever shown how he ultimately removed it so the whole point was moot. He walked off with my channel locks which I informed him of immediately after he left. He said he didn't have it then the next day he said he did but that he couldn't return them until after I left the area for a couple weeks at which point I told him he could drive out to my house. Luckily he changed his mind and returned them that morning as it really isn't my responsibility to retrieve them. I had been thru two days of hell from the previous contractor with 8 hours sleep over three nights. But he did the job and it took him no more than 15 to 20 minutes. There's a really big gash in my wall now where the valve is but I guess he had to do that to cut the pipe. I will have to find a wall cover plate or something to hide it or else patch it up. I then had to call another contractor to check the toilet seating as the flooring installer who left me with the leaking supply valve was supposed to handle it but did not do it right. Ultimately I had to hire three contractors in 36 hours for the same bathroom.

Once the landlord finally did respond, Jason had our backs while the landlord tried to cut corners/be cheap and claim he could probably do all the work himself. With half of our upstairs flooded, and water coming through our downstairs ceiling through the light sockets, that was obviously not going to happen. They handled all the conversations and background work required to make sure the repairs will be handled efficiently and correctly. Very grateful I found the right people for the job.

AZ Emergency Plumbing returned my call in minutes and arrived to my home in about an hour and a half. I thought it would be a simple fix but was informed that due to the amount of water I would need everything drained, dried and pedestal repair before he could safely and securely install a new heater. Seemed really overwhelming but AZ Emergency plumbing referred me to a reputable restoration company that came out same day and began the drying out process. The pedestal was repaired the next morning and I had my hot water heater in by the afternoon. However, while attempting to loosen the sediment filter housing attached to my stucco wall, the entire assembly came right off the wall. Turns out, the installer had not properly anchored the unit and only used masonry screws that only barely penetrated the stucco and with no anchors in place. Even though it was one month over the 2-year warranty period and the fact that 1UpPlumbing had since been bought out by Fast Layne Plumbing, yet still Teresa and Audrey at Fast Layne immediately dispatched a technician to my house, Greg, the same day!!! He arrived and verified the former installer had not bothered to anchor the screws into the wall nor to the studs beyond. Thus, he proceeded to effectuate repairs and this time used longer and proper wood screws to screw the housing into the framing studs on one side and used masonry anchors on the other side. Within an hour or so, the repair was completed and all is good... and no charge! They HONORED the expired warranty!!! I was amazed!!! Part of that, I'm sure, was the obvious fact that the installation had not been properly performed. But, still... they could have denied it for being past warranty by a month. I cannot thank Fast Layne Plumbing enough... and wish to especially thank Greg for the wonderful job he did as well as his great customer service and great attitude throughout.
