Was not getting any hot water in home for a couple days and after a few really cold showers, decided to let the pros come help me out. Knockout was VERY RESPONSIVE and had a tech out early the next day. Very professional, quickly diagnosed leaking heat exchangers from the cheap builder installed tankless hot water heater. Of course out of warranty, so we discussed the most cost effective and quality options and I decided to have the unit replaced with a more efficient, modern unit with a full 15-year warranty. My tech went to their warehouse and picked up the unit, and within an hour was back and at work pulling down the old unit and installing the new one, complete with all new copper piping. All done after a couple hours and I was so impressed, had him service my under counter water filtration system in kitchen. He cleaned everything up and we walked the home together making sure everything was working. YES!!!! HOT WATER EVERYWHERE!!! This job started out to be what we thought was a somewhat easy fix. Turned into a nightmare. Knockout plumbing (Joey, Luke and their side kick Cody) were amazing!!!!!! Luke (was the first one out to our property) knew exactly what needed to happen and what the issue was which was very reassuring . We hired them to work with the contractor that was hired for the street side and thank goodness we did. Joey,Luke and team wouldn't allow corners to be cut and made sure everything on their end was done the right way. They were patient and respectful even when their time wasn't respected. They actually went above and beyond to make sure that our home was protected from potential future issues. They were always on time and showed up when they said they would. Knockout came to my rescue, my injector pump in my basement the alarm went off. Seen water coming up in the pit and I knew the only place to call. They were at my home in 20 minutes, the tech Kylan cut away a gasket to look into the pit was moving the cords leading in and the float was stuck. This is a family run business which provides a level of service rarely seen nowadays. While I was out of town our kitchen disposal quit working and developed a leak. My wife called them on a Saturday and was put in touch with the owner by his wife. The gentleman came out to our house personally and arrived within half an hour after she called them. Talk about speedy service! When Dan didn't have the replacement disposal needed he called one of his guys who brought it right over. He recommended a better disposal than the cheap one Pulte put into our house seven years ago and said it actually lasted longer than would be expected. I wish I would have found these guys sooner than later. My water softener busted at 1am and we need emergency help. I first made an appointment with the company that we bought the unit from ( All About Water / Comfort Master ) and made an online appointment for today 2/16 for 8am-12pm. Received a confirmation of the appointment right after. Waited until 1150am to call them and ask where the tech was and was told by Taylor that she sees the appointment but there is no update in the system . She put me in hold to call their dispatch yo see where the tech was. She then came back to our call and told me that they did not put me in the schedule as the dispatch missed it. She stated that the dispatch would call me in 15mins to schedule a tech to come. At this time I was already upset that this happened with a company that I bought the system from and also had a maintenance plan with. I decided to get on yelp and thankfully KnockOut responded and was able to get me a tech in an hour and a half. Kaylan showed up actually earlier than expected and he was very professional and helped easy the stress . He found that the water softener had a broken valve which caused it to over flow and continue to spray water out from the top. He suggested i call the company that we purchased it from as it was a system failure and that the warranty should cover it. He then went above and beyond and called a restoration company to come and assess the damage. I would highly recommend KnockOut for any plumbing issues as they were honest, on time and very professional. I have been doing some type of remodel or new build project for over a year now on our home and have dealt with countless contractors of various trades in that time and the majority leave lots to be desired and it is rare when they surprise you with excellent level of service. Immediately we were off to a good start with the quick response to my request on Yelp for some flooding I had in my yard for several days. Dan initially let me know they would probably be able to come on Saturday but I let him know that I would prefer getting it done Friday since the yard was getting pretty saturated and I was worried it might be a plumbing leak. It is hard to find good service these days, but my experience with Knockout was excellent. Dan is who came to rescue us and we are really impressed him and this company. He is definitely a master of his craft, very honest and up front, and just a pleasure to deal with. I don't normally get around to doing reviews and usually forget but I had to come on here and make sure I did for our experience with them. We sprung a leak from our main 1" feed line coming up through the wall in the garage that crosses over the attic to our laundry room at the water softener loop, and made a pretty good mess. We were able to catch it after coming home from dinner around 12am before it became a disaster and ruined everything like our last leak we had. I shut off the supply to the house and the wife and I started looking at plumbing companies and reviews to put in an emergency call. We called 4, 24hr companies and Dan was the only one to call back within minutes. He was able to come out promptly and arrived at 5:30am to assess the situation, and perform the need repairs quickly. He would have been there at 2am but need to track down 50'-60' of 1" pex pipe. He gave me a very reasonable quote and did a fantastic job on the repairs. I will done within a few hours and was pretty extensive. Had to run 50' of pex through the attic to the laundry room. He cleaned up the areas really well and was on to the next rescue. Overall we are completely satisfied and will be using Dan and Knockout Plumbing for all of our future needs. A+++ service. read more
