One important tip for future customers: This company focuses strictly on remediation, meaning they do not handle the reconstruction or repairs (like replacing drywall) once the mold is gone. This wasn't an issue for me--I simply called around and found a local contractor to patch things up afterward--but it's important to go in with the right expectations and always ask questions! The team members we worked with deserve individual recognition: Brandan came out first to rule out any active plumbing leaks. Once he confirmed the mold wasn't plumbing-related, he kindly offered to inspect the rest of our new home's plumbing. He caught a few minor issues, explained his recommendations clearly, and provided no-pressure quotes. We are so relieved to finally have a trustworthy plumber on speed dial! He then immediately looped in their mold specialist, Ruben. Ruben arrived the very same day to assess the mold and provide a fair quote. I was very pleased with the service provided by Clint at Phend Plumbing for my replacement kitchen-faucet install. After reading other 5 star reviews about Phend Plumbing I decided to give them a call. I was glad I did. They were able to be there within 24 hours and were exactly on time. Clint was friendly, courteous, quick and knowledgeable. In addition to the faucet install he even tightened a couple additional loose faucet handles in our bath when I mentioned them to him. The cost was reasonable and I would definitely use them in the future! Working with Phend was great after an unsatisfactory experience with another company for the same job. I had previously scheduled with a different company that had quoted a cheaper cost for the install. After waiting a week for my appointment and making sure I was at home at the agreed upon time, I was notified at the last minute that their "truck had broken down" and they weren't coming. They also said they were over-booked for the remainder of the week and it would be at least one more week before a reschedule. NOT! Give Phend Plumbing a call! I think you'll be pleased as well. I would highly recommend Phend Plumbing. When I purchased my new home Pete, the owner, came out to check on some inspection concerns. He really knew his stuff and could easily explain to me what needed to be fixed. We set up a time to fix the problems and I also had a new dish washer and sink installed. There technician Clint Walker came to do the work. He was extremely knowledgeable and when we opened the new kitchen sink, he discovered there was a crack in the corner. He helped me return the sink to Home Depot and had to do a little extra drilling for the faucet holes. Then when he opened the faucet, he discovered it was also broken (lesson learned, don't order home appliances online). While I ran back to HD to get another new faucet, Clint finished installing the drain and check my water quality. It was such a pleasure to work with this professional organization. Called to have someone take a look at a bidet that I was having issues hooking up. Was able to have someone come out the next morning to give me an estimate. Tyler B showed up in the morning after giving me a call to let me know he was on his way. Tyler was able to quickly find out why I wasn't able to hook the bidet up and it was due to the connection piece sold with the bidet was metal and was to heavy to make a clean connection to the plastic fill value. Then he was able to make a quick adjustment to the connection to get the toilet back to working condition minus the bidet. While he didn't have the part I needed he was able to save me a lot of frustration and let me know what I needed to get to make it work. Shockingly when I asked what I owed him he said nothing since he wasn't able to fix the initial issue. Recently my hot water tank took a turn for the worse and I did not know who to reach out to. I received Phend Plumbing information from a friend and gave him a call. Not only did he answer my call, but he came back at an estimate that I could not pass up. Pete shoed up at the time he advised he would and went to work. One of the most important things I look for in anyone, is how they treat the consumer. Mr. Phend talked with my wife and not at her and that is very important to me as most will talk down to her, like she doesn't know what she is doing. Amazing company!!! I called a big name company, the one with same name as a president, they spent 5 mins and quoted me $4000 to replace sub pump. I called Phend Plumbing for a second opinion, I spoke with Mikela she scheduled Corey for the next morning. They showed up when they said, they throughly checked my issue and gave me a reasonable quote. They quoted me to pull the pump and see if it was just clogged and clear it out and if it needed replaced they would apply that quote to replacing pump, instead of double charging me. They took pictures of the problem and the work completed!!! Instead of $4000 it was only $725. I would highly recommend this company to EVERYONE!!! I highly recommend Phend Plumbing!! I live in Southern California and have had a rental in Mesa for the past 10 years. The folks at Phend have always been very responsive to my requests...and I have had some unique ones!! They are timely and always call me with estimates as soon as a problem is diagnosed. For one of their recent calls, they did not even charge me. My tenant had reported water outside of the kitchen. When Phend got there, they realized it was from a neighbor's yard, so there was no work for them to perform. Both of our toilets went out at the same time. Phend was recommended to us by another company which was currently filled up. Phend took our request immediately and sent Tim over to assist. Tim arrived at the designated time and immediately went to work. Tim inspected the problem and knew what to do. We took his advice and he performed just as he said he would. Our water heater started leaking badly. Some neighbors recommended Phend so we gave them a shot. The water heater was still under warranty and the plumber dealt with the paperwork and went and got a new water heater and was done installing quickly. A few days later we noticed one bathroom faucet was barely more than a trickle so we called Phend back. They scheduled a visit right away and I felt like a fool (It was just the little aerator that's connected to the faucet which was clogged)! They didn't charge us anything to come back! Had a sewage back up that was filling our tub and toilet. It was a Sunday night, so we waited to call the next morning. Called five minutes till they opened, and the owner answered the phone. He made sure to take all my contact info, and gave me a timeframe he would be out. He actually came early, and told me the pricing upfront. Ended up being a pipe that was clogging our sewer line. There is only ONE plumber that we trust for our whole house, no matter the issue, and that is Phend Plumbing! Frank has serviced the couple calls we've had and he's always been knowledgeable, very informative and fair. We just went through a major shower remodel as a result of water leaking down to the ceiling below. After 3 weeks of work, water STILL leaked and the contractor never actually fixed the issue! I purchased a kitchen facet and two bathroom facets from a home supply store and needed a plumber to install them. The quote Phend Plumbing gave me for labor to install these was $600.00 which is completely taking advantage of a customer so that's why I gave the rating I did. Family, friends and coworkers agree that $600.00 is completely unreasonable for labor only to install one kitchen facet and two bathroom facets. The kitchen facet took less than 1 hour to install. Clint came out today to fix a plumbing issue that 2 other plumbing companies wanted to charge me an exorbitant amount of money to fix. Not only was Clint able to diagnose and fix the problem in record time, he also looked at and fixed another plumbing issue I had in another bathroom. He did not charge me for the additional fix. Outrageous charges!! Our sewer line suddenly became obstructed on a day we were expecting guests so I didn't have time to rent a snake. I called Phend Plumbing based on another company's recommendation. The office wouldn't give me any sort of rough estimate or hourly rate over the phone, but I was in a bind. I dug around the clean out, had electric power and a water hose ready. The plumber was here 30 minutes and charger $285!! What a rip off. read more

However, when the original plumbers could not do what was needed, Phend was recommended and glad they were. These guys are great. They came out right away and took care of our bathroom tub/toilet installation and a minor repair under our kitchen sink. Our tech's name was Clint . For anyone who's owned or lived in a home, you know that plumbing troubles are surely to sprout up here and there. West Plumbing has helped us navigate through both basic and complex issues. From something as simple as reconnecting a toilet handle to addressing a leaking upstairs pipe. They're great at diagnosing and explaining the problem, followed by fixing it and offering creative preventative ideas for the future. One time, our shower handle broke off mid-stream and the water wouldn't turn off. It was late at night, so I had to turn the water off to the whole house. We asked a good handyman friend to come by that night, but together couldn't figure out how to pull out the handle mechanism. So, we called West. They came out the next day and fixed it in less than 30 minutes. Voilá! Often for home repair, we'll work directly with our Home Warranty. The downside there is that you're at the mercy of whoever is contracted with that service, and the quality of the workmanship is inconsistent. While it can be cheaper to go through a warranty, or shop around on price, you run the risk of a poor job, or requiring several visits and second opinions. I trust the opinion of the West Plumbing team every time!

He pulled up my file and said he wasn't comfortable waiting until the workweek due to the way my hot water heater was set up. Craig from Plumbing Geek responded immediately, joined a call, and said he was en route (ETA a few hours). Once onsite, he quoted an install price slightly lower than another plumber, then said he couldn't do the work until Monday because his worker was busy--he was just there to "secure the job." He immediately tried upselling $50/toilet hoses, claiming the builder's parts were cheap. When I questioned it, he said since we were waiting until Monday, I should buy the parts and he'd install them "for free." I purchased them. Monday 4/27/2026 -- Craig returned and suddenly claimed a part under my mom's toilet wasn't secured and quoted a $500 repair--despite no issues. I asked what was wrong (I have video of his explanation) and said I'd contact the builder. I refused the $500 repair; my mom was upset, and he dropped it to $200. I agreed so the install could proceed. Minutes later, he came back saying the pipes were installed incorrectly and needed to be cut into the wall and rerouted--now $560 per bathroom (after claiming the "real" cost was over $1,100). Every issue conveniently started at $500+. He then pushed me to file a "no-fault" insurance claim, insisting it wouldn't affect my insurance. I refused multiple times. He said if I wanted the toilets installed, I had to fix the pipes. I told him to put everything back and I'd contact the builder. He said he'd keep my $200 deposit--and he did. He then LEFT without reinstalling the old toilets. When I called, he asked if I wanted my mom's toilet put back--how else would an elderly woman use the restroom? He returned and reinstalled only some toilets, leaving the master bathroom unusable. The builder's area director inspected everything: the home is on a floating slab, the plumbing was correct, and the part Craig claimed was wrong had been glued down--he had pulled it up. The builder temporarily sealed the open hole Craig left (which could have caused sewer gases) and scheduled their team. Craig also dumped toilet debris in my driveway. Tuesday 4/29/2026 -- The builder's licensed plumbers installed all toilets correctly with ZERO wall cutting. This confirms Plumbing Geek tried to upsell unnecessary work and push an insurance claim. This experience was dishonest, manipulative, and predatory. Use extreme caution.
