DO NOT buy a water heater from them. You will be insanely overcharged! They told me the rheem water heater they sell is a "Professional" model made for plumbers. UNTRUE. I called rheem and they elevated my call to a tech supervisor who plainly said they DO NOT make special water heaters for Plumbers, no matter what the badge/insignia on the heater says. It is the exact same model Home Depot sells for about $600. They charged almost $1500 with installation. Buy the heater yourself and any plumber will install it for about $300. read more

Extremely unprofessional and unreliable. I scheduled this company last Thursday for plumbing work related to a light shower remodel, with a confirmed appointment for Tuesday. I clearly explained the work when scheduling, and their own website specifically states they perform remodeling work. I even asked them to provide a rough estimate ahead of time and they never did. At 7:40 a.m.--roughly an hour and twenty minutes before they were supposed to arrive--I received a call saying they weren't coming because they "don't do remodel work" and that the person who scheduled me should never have taken the call. That excuse is difficult to take seriously. They had the scope of work and my appointment for several days, and their own website advertises remodeling. If they couldn't do the work, they had plenty of time to tell me instead of canceling barely an hour before arrival. They referred me to the caller's son's plumbing company, who I immediately texted and never heard back from until 2:30 pm. With my shower installation scheduled for the next day, I was left scrambling to find a plumber at the last minute and had no reasonable opportunity to compare pricing. A scheduling mistake is understandable. Waiting until the morning of a confirmed appointment to cancel with an explanation that contradicts your own website is not. Completely unprofessional. If you have time-sensitive work, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. read more

Came back after a long weekend in Flag to a flooded garage. Our water heater had exploded. I called Kendall Plumbing per a recommendation of a friend of mine. I had also called another company, Kendall came in much lower than the other company and the service was incredible. I dealt with Kristie on the phone initially and she walked me through everything. They came out same day as I called! Blake was our service tech and he also walked me through what exactly he was doing. We got a new water heater and all the fittings for it. Use local. Kendall is licensed, bonded & insured- which you want from your plumber. Don't pay the crazy high prices of a commercial plumber when you can use a local company! read more

Excellent quality of work. Very trustworthy people to deal with. Fixed plumbing problem no one else could. Prices were the norm.

I had my house's main water supply fixed by them. They destroyed my sprinkler system, left a massive dead spot in my lawn, used materials that constantly break and have cost me hundred of dollars and destroyed my side yard. When contacted about these problems, they said they'd come and fix it, only to tell me, after all other plumbers were closed, that "they were no longer interested in the work." I'm without water for another day at least, can't get ahold of anyone to fix it and I know that under my front yard, is a ticking time bomb of thousands of dollars of damage. When these hacks come quoting, don't walk away. Run. No consideration for professionalism. No care for quality craftsmanship and no crap given about the lives of others. I don't know who that is, and after checking, it doesn't look like they have pictures to their review. As for patching the sprinklers, none have worked since your company hurried them, and left a massive trench of sinking dirt in my yard. We have used Kendall Plumbing for both small and large jobs for years. They have come out and saved us when our system needed snaked, which wasn't easy because we didn't have a clean out for a long time. And more importantly, completely rebuilt our piping between our two bathrooms when the old cast iron pipes completely gave out. Not only did it rust out, we found out that one of the 4" pipes was down to 1" because of hair, grease, oil, yuck... Always on time, always courteous. Spectacular service - quick response, quality work, considerate interactions, and careful clean-up. I called Kendall Sunday night. The answering service asked if it was an emergency and I said no. Monday morning the owner, Kendall, called me to hear the details, then a little later another person (Debbie, I think) called to let me know someone was on the way. Kerry arrived at 9:50 am and cleared the drain between two back-to-back lavatory sinks by 10:20. Other plumbers had told me that to get the snake into the pipe shared by the back-to-back sinks, they would likely have to cut into the wall, cut the drain pipe, and install a clean-out. Kerry carefully nudged the snake into the shared drain pipe with no issues and pulled out the clog. In the end Kendall charged $160 out the door and Kerry carefully cleaned and double-checked everything. I recommend Kendall to anyone who needs a plumber. read more

I found my self in need of the installation of 2 faucets and a water filter. I got the referral from a contractor friend to Kendall Plumbing. I've some really bad experiences with plumbers in the past so a referral from someone I trust was great. Categorically, they filled my best expectations. My call for service was returned and an appointment was made within a reasonable length of time. My technician Chris was prompt, clean, professional as well as quite personable. His work was great on everything. I had a particularly stubborn faucet in the bathroom and had to return the next day with an actual saw to remove it. In closing, the popular conception is that plumbers strip your wallet, and I would definitely agree. I was pleasantly surprised to find Kendall's has a reasonable hourly rate without 'padding' the time to make extra. We have been using Kendall for many repairs as we recently purchased a new home that needed a bit of love. They were referred to us by our realtor. Our first interactions with them were wonderful but after how we were recently treated we have decided that we will no longer be using Kendall Plumber again in the future. We discovered a waterbreak in the main line that connects from the street to our home. A gentleman came out on an emergency call to see if he could help stop the leak. He came out on a Saturday and was super kind, explained to us the severity of the leak and that unfortunately he did not have time to work on it that day as it would take a great amount of time. We understood. He also recommended replacing the whole line as the line was polybuteline piping that was recalled years ago. We agreed this would be the best option. He advised that they were likely a couple of weeks out on the schedule but would be something they could fix. In the meantime, my husband and I shut off the water to our house and decided to go stay with family until we could get this fixed. We were losing about a gallon a minute. Later that day i called the office and left a message with the office asking for a request to be put on the schedule for the next availability. The emergency plumber called back annoyed as somehow our request got put in as an emergency. I let him know that i was only calling and left a message so that we could get put on the regular schedule at the next availability. He seemed annoyed which i could understand as he was on-call emergency. Not sure where the confusion came from Monday rolled around and i called the office again to see when we could get on the schedule to run the new lines. The on call gentleman answered again and asked me if we were going to dig up the old line. I told him that I was not sure how it normally works, if they can do it (which wed be happy to pay extra for) or if they work with someone who normally does. He responded aggressively and said, look im sorry we cant help you while laughing. I asked him if he had any recommendations of anyone who could help. He said no i dont and hung up the phone. I can understand if they didnt want to take on a decent sized job but thats all he had to say. He didnt need to be agressive or rude by laughing at me, he didn't need to hang up on us. He had told us when he was at our house that they could fix it but it would be a couple of weeks out. We were not in a rush by any means as we had shut off our water. I get it, maybe something changed with their schedule or maybe they were not comfortable with a decent sized job. Because of this and how we were treated, we will be taking our business elsewhere. We ended up finding a plumber to help us replace the piping and they were out to our house within a day and completed the job in a day and a half. read more

I had a main line leak in my front yard. Was not sure who to call but saw great reviews for Kendall Plumbing so I gave them a shot. Chris came over and was methodical in his work. Placed a probe in the ground to get close to the leak. Raked the rocks back and put a tarp down to place the dirt on when digging. Found and repaired the leak, filled to hole and put the rocks back making it look like he wasn't even here. Very impressed. And the price was very reasonable. Our water main had an aggressive leak. Most plumbers quoted me a price to replace all pipe charging a fee of thousands! Francisco came over immediately, explained the problem and replaced only the pipe that was cracked... not the entire pipeline as 3 others quoted me even after watching my video of the leak. I just had my first experience with Kendall Plumbing. They did a fantastic job! I live in a rental and they are the preferred plumber for my 4plex. I work night shifts so I often have difficulty scheduling day time appointments but they worked around my schedule with no issues. My kitchen sink was completely plugged and smelled disgusting. I was called and updated more than once about the time I could expect the plumber and when he arrived, he got right to work. We discovered a leak in our water main on a Friday night after our water bill had doubled for the month. The next morning we found out our regular plumber had moved up North so we called a few places for estimates. The first place didn't bother calling back, the second didn't have availability 'til Tuesday and the third showed up Monday morning and quoted us $750 after WE had already done all the digging. Our neighbor saw us out "digging a hole in the yard" and came over to chat. He recommended Kendall and I'm SO glad he did. I did have to call in the morning to remind them, I got worried they were not going to show up, he told me the mentioned time. He quickly, assessed the work that needed to be done, from what I understand, an easy diagnosis, which was a wax ring replacement (wax seal) on toilet. Total billed: $341.00. Work was completed professionally and area cleaned. The 2.5 Stars is due to a part costing $25 (to $30), and $300.00 for one hour of work. I will pay for skill & weekend hours, but I will leave it up to you whether $$ was excessive and if you would use their service/s considering the upcharge. read more
