I should have done this a year ago, but sometimes it's a good idea to wait a year to make sure that the work done was really well done. I had a sewerline breach and they had to replace the 60s foot section that ran onto the alley. I talked to five different places before I landed on Pink Plumbing. Chris spent a half hour on the phone selling the value of what they were doing. In the end, they beat the other guys by over $1000 on a $12,000 job, I got a better quality pike, and got the work done the very next day. They didn't leave a mess behind and that was important to me. Chris was on site to make sure it went well. There are a lot of fake reviews out there, but this is not one of them. However, it cost $525 to diagnose a problem faucet and install the new faucet (we sourced the faucet ourselves and it is not included in the price). That is a very, very expensive installation for something that is not terribly complex or difficult. The tub drains were severely rotted from drano, and there was a chance of a leak. I was advised of this possibility prior to the service and I greatly appreciated the transparency. From the time calling them and getting a rep to listen and ask questions and document what happened to getting the service tech to come in. Very professional, clean, and on time. A bit pricy but I don't mind that if I know I'm getting quality service, so it was worth every penny. The service I needed was clogged main pipe where the washer drainage would back flow when the disposal in the kitchen would run. The technician came out and met my tenants without me there because he 2 hours early. He left me a VM that the carcass of my water heater was damaged and sent me an invoice for $2,700 to replace it. Even if that were true the tank is 2 years old and would be under warranty. They didn't even mention the warranty option to save me money. They clearly just needed the work. The carcass is not damaged. The tank is heating and holding 140 degree water. I measured it with a heat gun. It's coming out of my taps at 100 degrees which is why I called to begin with. I called someone else....bad thermostatic mixing valve, $200 and it's good as new. I will never call these guys again. read more

We had to get our entire sewer line inside and out and any pipe connected to it replaced. House was built in '61 and the pipes were corroding reallly bad and backing up. They weren't cheapest as they stated but were honest and up front about everything. Got me on a payment plan and they got the job done within 2 days. They wouldn't help me. I'm a renter, paying for a uninstall and new install of a replacement faucet I already bought, but couldn't get the nut off the bottom of the faucet for the old one. They would not help me at all since I was NOT the owner of the house. The property mgmt wouldn't replace the faucet since it still worked, just hardwater built up over the last 10 years and CLR and other products just were not working and it wouldn't swivel anymore. The work done is better than the builder's installs (we know builders don't always hire the best, but they could look to Pink Plumbing for guidance). Jason was very easy to work with and even pointed to a couple items that weren't quite to code: gas vent seal & toilet slightly offset. This is what service should feel like! Had a leak in a water pipe outside in the yard, and someone from Pink was able to come out and look at it the next morning, thankfully, because we were leaving town. Easy to make the appointment and the plumber was right on time. Service was quick and efficient and we were charged less than we were told because my husband had already dug a hole and isolated the leak. However it was still really expensive. The fix seems to be holding so we're happy about that. Definitely recommend, especially for an emergency fix. read more

Let me start off by saying I have used PINK plumbing and sewer 7 times over the last five years. This last time I had my water lines repiped in my home that were grey polly lines and should have been replaced 10+ years ago!! I did my due diligence and got 5 different quotes, Lou and Joe with PINK were priced somewhere in the middle, but with their 5.0 star review history and industry leading warranty, IT WAS A NO BRAINER!!!! They did a PHENOMONAL job and finished ahead of schedule. Another one of my previous service jobs was in June of 2024, and I replaced my outside sewer line due to the fact it was an orangeburg sewer material and in very bad shape. I had a feeling this was coming as when I bought the house a few years back, PINK plumbing did the inspection and warned me that the sewer would be a problem sooner rather than later. They also made it possible for the repair needed as they played a large part in getting me the money BACK from the seller to make the necessary repairs when I purchased my house. Let me shoot it to you straight, PINK plumbing has gone ABOVE & BEYOND my expectations! They have given me the straight scoop on the issues, not only existing but forecasting what to expect in the future to avoid surprises! People of Peoria and nearby cities, please read this in full before hiring Pink Plumbing. My experience is the most extreme abuse of customer trust I've ever faced, and definitely not a he said she said situation as my friend that was here through all of this is my witness. She is also blown away. I'm a multi-disciplinary technical professional--electrical, HVAC, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electro-mechanical, fiber optics, RF, biomedical systems, networking, construction, and even semiconductor engineering. Nothing is "too hard" for me to learn, but I'm currently in bankruptcy due to disability. Remove the bankruptcy and I'd have handled this plumbing issue myself. Initial Problem My washing-machine standpipe gurgled and overflowed, backing up into the kitchen sink. I snaked 25 ft and even taped a cheap sewer camera to it--no luck. The house had been scoped before and only had a small benign "belly" in the line. I posted a Yelp request of the clog, trusting Yelp's vetting. First Visit Pink Plumbing quoted $199 to clean from the clean-out--"definitely not hydro-jetting." Their vibe felt like "sigh, fine, we'll fix it," but I scheduled anyway. Next day a young tech arrived; we discussed options and I chose their $1,300 hydro-jetting package with scope and cleaning. He worked a couple of hours and got it flowing. I was impressed--until 12 hours later it backed up worse than before. Warranty Call They honored the warranty and sent multiple plumbers. Energetic, professional, but their camera couldn't see the clog and they couldn't get it. They said they'd need the big jetter and a larger camera and scheduled for Monday. We lived without laundry or dishes for days. The "Big Event" Joe arrived with the larger equipment and claimed my plumbing had "failed" with "significant dirt" in the line. For 90 minutes he silently scoped about 80 ft, staring at his iPad, angling it away from us, completely ignoring our questions. When he wanted access through my bedroom he nearly barged in despite my firm "No," while I rushed to secure a loose cat, a crated dog, and documents--including a loaded pistol that I forgot about while rushing. He wedged the door closed so I couldn't see or enter, ignored my questions, and kept working. He even barged into my closet without asking while I was not present and started going through my items on the floor to put them on the bed. Unacceptable. Eventually he said we "need to talk," coughed repeatedly, then revealed he has cancer. I felt compassion--until he pivoted to my finances, noting my bankruptcy and asking if I had relatives with good credit or friends to loan money. He pushed an insurance claim, warning me to tell the insurer strictly "I did laundry and it overflowed," nothing else. Soon after, a young man from Rocky Mountain Plumbing--not a plumber but a restoration worker--arrived to "inspect" for insurance. He tapped a pinless moisture detector on the wall Pink Plumbing had overflowed and declared, "Yep, water damage. We'll rip out walls and repaint perfectly." when this was only hours after Pink Plumbing overflowed the standpipe right behind that wall during hydro-jetting. Only then did I realize Pink Plumbing had led me into a scam: they cared more about insurance payouts than fixing plumbing. Final Confrontation I called Pink Plumbing immediately. Since Joe conveniently wasn't available, the owner returned the call with a dismissive tone, insisting the blockage was already cleared and the system usable--information no one had shared before. To prove it, I ran the sink: water drained perfectly. The "failed plumbing" scare was fiction. My Professional Assessment I purchased a Sanyipace sewer scope, blew out the water with a leaf blower, and scoped it myself. What I found was ALMOST clear plumbing, with a previously known benign low point, a grease ball on the top of the pipe at 27 feet from cleanout that filled about 45% of pipe face surface area, and a minor amount of buildup still on the pipe walls. I couldn't reach the clog with a 25ft snake, that was the problem; alone. I also bought a jetter hose from my pressure washer and some heads and I'll be cleaning it better than you guys did because I care about stuff I touch professionally. Bottom Line Pink Plumbing used fear, privacy violations, and pressure tactics on a disabled veteran in bankruptcy. They involved a restoration company, misrepresented the problem, and tried to steer me into an unnecessary insurance claim. Whether or not Joe's cancer story was true, it conveniently stalled the conversation and deepened the pressure. Pink Plumbing isn't in the business of plumbing--they're in the business of manipulation. #1 in the #2 business--because they are the #2. read more
