Called for an estimate for a hot water issue we are having in our condo. Two guys came out and looked at it and had no clue what it was. They recommended opening the walls. While I was waiting for permission to open the walls I called for a second opinion and that plumber fixed it within 20 minutes without opening anything by turning down the cold water valve and adjusting the limiter/cartridge - so Pink Plumbing & Sewer is either ignorant or intentionally trying to charge for a bigger job read more

This was the 2nd time we used Pinks. I had a great experience the 1st time and had them on my speed dial just in case. Well... our water heater exploded with water spewing everywhere this time. Came out same day to get us a quote and also helped me figure out how to turn off the water. Lou came by within a few hours and assess the situation. The guy who came and did the job was lovely. Courteous, competent, speedy. But the scheduling was a nightmare. I called at 8am and explained that I had to leave by noon for an essential family celebration. I was told someone would be there in two hours. When I called back to say no one had come I was put on hold, and the reps seemed unsurprised and indifferent. In the end, I waited 7 hours and felt I'd been misled simply to get the gig; with more information, I'd have shopped around and found someone who could keep their word. This company is a breeze to work with. Scheduling is easy, they are communicatve and they show up when they say they will. Our technician was polite, professional and easy to work with. However, it cost $525 to diagnose a problem faucet and install the new faucet (we sourced the faucet ourselves and it is not included in the price). That is a very, very expensive installation for something that is not terribly complex or difficult. We estimate we paid about $100 over market and in this economy, we can't afford to do this again. read more

We called Pink Plumbing because we had sewage periodically backing up into the house. We suspected it was a sewer line issue, and Pink confirmed that with a camera inspection for $300. The process to scope the line was similar to other companies, and the reviews for this plumber are great, so we included them in our quotes. The plumber they sent was knowledgeable and did a thorough job scoping everything and explaining what was going on. Ultimately, we decided to go with a different plumber with similar reviews but a much more appealing quote. I gave 4 out of 5 stars solely because their quote was on the high end, but to be clear, this company was professional, gave us a same-day quote, and did a great job finding the issue. read more

This is an amazing, professional and transparent company. Lou from Pink Plumbing & Sewer came out to replace two tub drains and stoppers in the master bath and guest bathroom. The tub drains were severely rotted from drano, and there was a chance of a leak. I was advised of this possibility prior to the service and I greatly appreciated the transparency. The value for the cost of service is worth tenfold. I can now take a bath which was previously not an option. Lou was friendly, professional, and the quality of work is top notch! They charged us $850 to replace the main water line valve that had a small leak. The tech used a press-fit type fitting which is very difficult to repair. It should have been soldered. We were in a bind, so if you need it done fast, you will pay top dollar. read more

I started having plumbing issues mid-July of this year. I ended up having to have the entire sewer line completely replaced by Pink Plumbing and Sewer. It is an incredibly stressful project to complete with tear out including jack-hammering every room the sewer is under (70 ft) and restoring the house to its previous condition. One of the last pieces of the project to complete was having my toilet and sink in my only bathroom set back in as well as the kitchen sink re-plumbed. At this point many other things (not related to the plumbing but delaying the restoration) had happened and I was incredibly stressed living for weeks with only a bedside toilet and the running water only in the bathtub. The plumber reinstalling the bathroom and kitchen pieces was Lou and his assistant Anthony. Lou was amazing. He, like all Pink plumbers, was punctual and professional. When not at my house he responded to texts promptly. Lou prepared a clean environment in which to work and explained everything he was doing. He was kind and respectful and demonstrated an understanding of my stress. He told me when he had to do something other than what was planned. My house is 76 years old and comes with some twists and turns for which he was prepared. Lou went above and beyond to make sure the spaces he was working in functioned at a level I needed. And he backed up his work. Anthony and Lou cleaned up everything after and left my bathroom smelling like oranges for days to come. All of this at a very reasonable cost. The technician came out and met my tenants without me there because he 2 hours early. He left me a VM that the carcass of my water heater was damaged and sent me an invoice for $2,700 to replace it. Even if that were true the tank is 2 years old and would be under warranty. They didn't even mention the warranty option to save me money. They clearly just needed the work. The carcass is not damaged. The tank is heating and holding 140 degree water. I measured it with a heat gun. It's coming out of my taps at 100 degrees which is why I called to begin with. I called someone else....bad thermostatic mixing valve, $200 and it's good as new. I will never call these guys again. read more

I think I have done so many five-star reviews on Lou and Anthony and Pink Plumbing that you all are going to think we are related. In fact, we have had so many problems on our home, and have gotten to know them so well, I feel like we have adopted them! I wanted to do another five-star Google review because we had a pipe spring a leak over our ceiling in our home. Of course it was on a Saturday night. Of course, Lou was helping someone else on Saturday night with an emergency and told me he could come Sunday morning! Who does that? I should have done this a year ago, but sometimes it's a good idea to wait a year to make sure that the work done was really well done. I had a sewerline breach and they had to replace the 60s foot section that ran onto the alley. I talked to five different places before I landed on Pink Plumbing. Chris spent a half hour on the phone selling the value of what they were doing. In the end, they beat the other guys by over $1000 on a $12,000 job, I got a better quality pike, and got the work done the very next day. They didn't leave a mess behind and that was important to me. Chris was on site to make sure it went well. There are a lot of fake reviews out there, but this is not one of them. We had to get our entire sewer line inside and out and any pipe connected to it replaced. House was built in '61 and the pipes were corroding reallly bad and backing up. They weren't cheapest as they stated but were honest and up front about everything. Got me on a payment plan and they got the job done within 2 days.
