Wool carpet by Masland

I'm an interior designer and renovator and I've been coming to Rayo Wholesale in Kearny Mesa for several years. I've put in almost every type of flooring: hardwood, LVP, engineered hardwood, tile, waterproof laminate, and most recently high quality wool carpet. Ask for Dallas Martin and you can't go wrong with anything he suggests. He is trustworthy and extremely knowledgable about the extensive variety of manufacturers, the quality of the product, best values, durability, etc. He won't lead you on or mess you around. He will also remember the things you might forget ie: transition molding, underlayment, etc. Pricing is great at Rayo and you can borrow their large samples so you can try them at home. Dallas is my first call when I get a new project and Rayo is my first stop for any kind of flooring product!

Our engineered hardwood floors purchased at Rayo in November 2014, which we were told would be durable for dogs and are not the case.

Mark was helpful over several contacts. I ended up going elsewhere due to supply but would gladly go to Rayo again for any flooring needs.

At that point, we were already exhausted from dealing with delays and unresponsive contractors. I found ProSource Wholesale through Yelp and called right away. Veronica, an account manager, answered the phone--and from that first call, the experience was completely different. She was friendly, professional, and incredibly efficient. Veronica was able to locate the exact same flooring on the East Coast and had it delivered to us within about a week to a week and a half of placing the order. After everything we had been dealing with, having this part of the process be so smooth and stress-free was honestly refreshing. Veronica communicated clearly, followed through quickly, and made what felt like a big problem very easy to solve. If you have any flooring needs, I highly recommend reaching out to ProSource Wholesale and asking for Veronica. She was wonderful to work with, and I will absolutely recommend their services to others.

Communication was always timely, there were never any surprises with price / billing, recommendations on products didn't seem biased in any direction, time from signing the contract to installation was reasonable, and the people who work there are just really nice. The measure and install/removal team, led by Tony, was professional and finished under their originally estimated timeline. I purchased three slabs of marble for my kitchen, and after speaking with two independent fabricators, I learned that I would have to sign a release of liability for installation. Both fabricators explained that marble is extremely porous and prone to chipping and cracking, and they both advised that marble should never be used for a kitchen countertop. Anything acidic : lemon juice, vinegar, soda can dull and etch marble even when it has been sealed. Wine, citrus, tomato sauce, coffee, and oils can all leave stains or dark spots. If you don't use any of these in your kitchen, you might be safe; but if you do, they will leave a lasting impression. When I explained this to the owner and requested a full refund despite the slabs never being moved or fabricated, he refused. I even offered to pay $1,500 to be reasonable, but that was also declined. If that is the kind of business you want to deal with Petra Stone is the place for you.

Petra also offers a proprietary sealant called Azerocare for their natural stones, which makes them stain-resistant for many hours. This comforts clients who are reluctant to use natural stone due to potential marks and stains from everyday use. It is such a joy to have them in San Diego. I get excited every time we work together and make selections because there's always something new, and the finished product consistently exceeds my expectations.
