My partner and I wanted to remodel our rental home before putting it on the market. The owner, Waiss, came to the home to measure and sketch out a preliminary design. We followed up with a visit to the store 2 weeks later where we chose a slab for the countertops as well as the specific cabinets (both material and design) that we wanted. Martha has been our Design Consultant with the occasional assistance of Angel who has also been great. After some delays during the Christmas Holidays, the materials were delivered and installed. The installers, Ricardo, Tom, Girardo and others did a very good job. We opted for outside fabrication which cut down on much of the dust. The price was reasonable. The store also carries flooring and cabinet accessories. We put the home on the market and prospective owners are very pleased with the new updates. S THIS HOW YOU TREAT A RETURNING CUSTOMER ? We were sold a badly warped granite slab for our kitchen island. We noticed it after their installers left our home a dusty, dirty mess. How could they let a warped slab like this out for install ? The installers told us that Granite Depot knew that it was warped, the installers knew it as well. This slab was stored vertically in a bin separate from all the others like they had been trying to get rid of it. It had several strips of green tape attached that we were told indicated "cracks". We were told that with our measurements they could work around them. After many, many unanswered phone calls we eventually got the owner to come see for himself. He said "Ya, it's really warped" "like a potato chip". They finally offered to replace that slab, but after spending a week vacuuming and dusting our home after the first install we said they should compensate us for the warped slab instead. (The installers cut out the openings for the stove and sink IN OUR KITCHEN and used a little vacuum with no attachments that did very little). Granite Depot said " Well, we already discounted the slab. NO, they discount the slab because it was cracked, not because it was warped. They refuse to budge. read more

The sales group was very good. How ever when it came to installation the installers had no idea about supplies that we had paid extra . We needed thicker plywood. He asked if I had it. When they did come back a few days later install went fine until I got a closer look. Where he had cut out sink hole had been scratched from the saw they used. I complained to store . He came back out to try to polish it out and then stated these scratches were apart of the stone. I have had many different types of stone. I know scratches when I see them. I rarely leave negative reviews, but after years of frustration with Prefab Granite Depot, I feel compelled to share my experience. I hired them to install a waterfall-style counter back in June 2021. Barely a year later, the waterfall cracked for no clear reason. They came out again in July 2022 to repair it, but the job was subpar. I noticed that between the waterfall backing and the side of the cabinet. It wasn't flush at all. Which I'm assuming that it allowed the water fall to slide inward more than 90 degrees, thus putting strain at the joint. But I am not a professional installer. It took them until August 22, 2022, to actually address this crack and I was assured the issue wouldn't happen again, however nothing was done to fill the gap with sub board to prevent inward movement of the granite. Unfortunately, it did again crack. A third crack appeared on April 22, 2023. I reached out multiple times via email and phone, only to be completely ignored. No callbacks, no emails, nothing from their receptionist or customer service team. Then, in May 2025 -- the worst-case scenario happened -- the waterfall slab literally fell off the counter. It nearly injured my child, grazing his arm as it collapsed. This wasn't just poor workmanship; it was dangerous. I've given them multiple chances over the years to make this right, but the lack of accountability and disregard for customer safety is unacceptable. I would never recommend this company to anyone if this is still their current practice and to avoid at all costs. read more

They take no responsibility for their mistakes and will say all the problems are because of your house. Martha is a combative sales rep and has no interest in being fair or ethical in her customer service. The owner, Weiss, is no better. He doesn't honor their warranty. They reluctantly came out 3 times to attempt to fix their mistakes and my counters still aren't close to being even. Don't waste your time or money. This company provided us with an affordable kitchen remodel of cabinets and countertops. We used their prefabricated hardwood cabinets that come in set sizes and their flexibility to allow us to hire our own subs also saved costs over their bundled services. We give five stars to the owner for working with us on the design, and along with our sales person, provided very helpful advice on even the smallest of details. Their cabinet installer was excellent. The only issue we had was with the countertop installer. We were impressed how he worked with his crew, but he rushed the job to finish in a day (he was honest about this) and had to come out multiple times to address issues. We initially completed design with PGD back in July. At the time we were told install would be late August. Come August - about a week from install, our install day was pushed out a month till End of September; cabinet delays. Come End of September and we get pushed again till end of October. A week out from install we get a call that the countertops we selected were out of stock. We had to pick new countertops 3 days from install after reserving them and having our kitchen scheduled for months. Luckily we found some quartz in stock that went well with our backsplash and cabinets at the last minute. Our kitchen was finally installed by the first week of November. We have no complaints on design, or quality of work. We only wish lead times weren't exaggerated or so blatantly wrong (whether it be Covid supply chain issues or whatever the actual reason was). Communication on the project could have been better also - we had to constantly call for updates last minute trying to coordinate our own contractor for demo and kitchen prep. Ultimately we got our dream kitchen despite the bumpy road. read more

Prefab Granite Depot was amazing to work with. My first time around I found an amazing reminant that would fit perfectly on our bathroom vanity. We ran a tad short of material for the back splash so I returned (several times actually ) and found a similar chunck in their reminant stack. I must've come by at least 8 times. The staff was so patient and that means the world to me. The stock guys would pull out several pieces for me so i had plenty of options. I wanted the back splash to have similar lines as the counter. Doesn't look like much on the outside, warehouse was a bit unorganized but the kitchen displays sure made up for it. I had previously gone in a couple weeks ago, lady at the front desk made no effort to talk to my wife and I, after we walked by a couple times. We finally came around to ask her questions about the whole process, very dry and vague responses were given by Martha. Told my wife we could easily go somewhere else. After a few days, she insisted on returning for a countertop piece she fell in love with. She came back with an estimate that seemed to be at a very fair price. Told me that a gal named Elsie helped her select a backsplash to match the countertop. Went on about how excited she was to see everything put together now that we have a better understanding, she's even talking about redoing our cabinets! As long as the wife's happy! Property manager contacted this place to replace cabinets due to a kitchen fire. Just wanted to say the issue was not with the installation. The cabinets were installed perfectly, had absolutely no problem with that. Those guys were polite and made an effort to clean up any mess they left. What was frustrating was scheduling and customer service/management though. They told me both times they would reach out to me the day before with a time (it would've been so much easier if it was planned before). The first time I had to call them because they contacted my property manager instead of me. I was a little frustrated but I understood that it was probs confusing as to who was the point of contact. The truly irritating part was with the second appointment. They contacted me the day before with their planned arrival time when the office was nearly closed. I had an issue with that time so I called them back right before closing to reschedule from morning to noon, and the dude was like sure and that he would call back. Wtf.. They totally IGNORED my request and came at 8AM the next day when I was totally not expecting it. I was extremely pissed off because I had plans. Very unprofessional. It would've been better to notify/contact the customer earlier in the day, get an actual confirmation, and actually adhere to the request after verbally agreeing. read more

Here is review about our recent kitchen countertops: Really great team to work with, have a wonderful selection of countertops, latest styles, all nicely organized in one place in their show room, and range of price points. Project turned out great! There was a little hiccup (not Granite Depot fault) and they were on it and they helped get it corrected -- they should teach a class on great customer service, and you can tell they really care about their clients, and providing 100% great product and service. I contracted for a major project (close to $100K) which included kitchen and bathroom remodel as well as new luxury vinyl flooring throughout the house. I have now an issue with the kitchen flooring which caused the vinyl to bend and crack in one area. After greater than 6 months of back and forth, a hundred emails and calls, multiple visits, they finally agreed to fix the flooring. BUT I need to contract and pay myself for an appliance installer to remove my refrigerator and freezer columns, stage them somewhere else for a period of time, and then get them reinstalled once flooring is repaired. Plus, my contract was with Kitchen Boutique which no longer exists. So, technically they don't owe me anything. So be aware, if anything goes wrong you are on your own. Now they refuse to fix all the damage they caused, replace the sink and slab they ruined, and do the job right. Read the review by Mike R. His experiences sound like my own. These are the worst bunch of amateurs I have ever dealt with. If you care about your bathroom, go anywhere else, but not to Prefab Granite Depot. I ordered two vanities and tops from them. To begin with, they were more than a week late with getting one ready, which held up all the other work my contractor is doing. They are the kings of last-minute cancellations. They insist (and charge far too much for it) on doing the installation. But get this? They only do half the job and won't attach the plumbing. More critically, after not showing up for a week, my contractor had to go pick up one unit and install it himself so he could continue with the rest of the job. Who paid for it? NOT Prefab Granite Depot! I made the mistake of letting Prefab Granite Depot attempt to do the job with the second unit. Doing so, they destroyed two walls of my bathroom in three distinct places. Then they cut a very big hole in the slab and mounted a drop-in sink as an undermount. They won't repair the damage they did to my bathroom walls, nor will they cut a new slab and replace the handmade sink they ruined! Good luck reaching them, too. My rep Elsie doesn't work full-time. Most days, you won't be able to contact her. Miramar has a thousand slab and vanity stores. USE ANY OF THEM, NOT Prefab Granite Depot. Did a small two vanity bathroom remodel, Job supposed to be take two days but the cabinet guy did not have a helper, so it took him way longer to assemble the cabinets. Plus, he damaged both cabinets and I had to help carry the cabinets upstairs! He tried to cover up the damage with a paint pen! Sales rep Jill told the cabinet guy that she would discount the price due to the inconvenience, but they did not. She sent an invoice with numbers just made up on it and said I owed more. When I added up the invoice the number were way off and did not match the total cost. She then sent another invoice with different numbers just to cover her.
