We got our whole kitchen remodeled by SD Kitchen and Cabinets. At that time, I would have highly recommended them but after a year, I am starting to see shortcuts that they took. They didn't put the tile underneath the dishwasher and if you remove the kick plate you can clearly see they never even cleaned up underneath. Even though they had measurements of our over, there is an inch gap on one side between the countertop and the oven. Biggest issue is the countertops that we purchased through them. After 6 months, area around the kitchen sink area. We have been very careful about wiping down the area but yellowish water stains are definitely there. read more

First the good: excellent cabinets, reasonably priced, nice and knowledgable people to work with who communicate promptly. The not so good: despite the personal attention and assurances that my order would be complete and promptly delivered to me, there were a few omissions and one error. This was not the end of the world, and Hannah was very quick to make it right and get the omissions to me promptly. I love that she uses high-quality plywood Construction soft close doors and really appreciate the 3-D design so that you can get a great visual of what you'll end up with and she is super easy to deal with and make changes when needed. There were a few cabins that she initially didn't have but the company she uses was able to create some base cabinets that didn't initially exist to fit into our kitchen design. First, they made an error in their measurements and refused to cover the cost of the correction. Instead of taking responsibility, they accused us of replacing our appliances. Working with Hanna was a breeze - she was able to visit quickly for an in home estimate. Her estimates were reasonable and moreover she was able to deliver the cabinets in a weeks time - this was critical because we wanted the work done before we move in so delays in this would be undesirable. The other estimate we got mentioned 6 weeks just for cabinet delivery! She worked with a designer and showed us options and we were able to change the configurations to what we liked. The cabinets were delivered as expected and we were able to get them installed on time. There were a few hiccups and changes we wanted but Hanna handled it well and was able to accommodate us to make sure we were happy with how everything turned out. She was great at communication and follow up. I would also like to mention that I used two referrals from Hanna - Eric for demolition and Joel for the cabinet installation - both did excellent work. Joel especially made sure that everything was to our expectation despite being busy. This next part is not related to Hanna or SD cabinets but I'm not sure where else to add this review, but another referral from Hanna was for a countertop fabricator/installer named Abel. After waiting for him for 2 weeks to do the template he was a no show and didnt even have the professionalism or courtesy to have any communication on the day he was supposed to come to give me a time window so i can make sure i can be at the house to let him in or tell me that he cant make it. This cost me two weeks of delay since I had to find someone else - I understand things happen and especially with COVID going on and rescheduling is needed sometimes, but at least the communication would've helped me either get a better estimate on time or find someone else since I needed to schedule someone for backsplash and then plan move-in. He might be good at his work, but the unprofessional behavior was a complete put off. read more

Run as fast as you can! SD Kitchen did a horrible job with our cabinets. 1st they measured our kitchen wrong and shortened our existing quartz slab by 12 inches of countertop space. We had to add a small cabinet and filler space to remedy the situation. Then for the island, they measured wrong again and the sink was off center of the sink cabinet. To remedy that we had to add 6 inches of filler space to the island to make it work. Not to mention there was already a few inches of filler space around the dishwasher. We were so frustrated we ended up getting our island custom made. The absolute worst part of it all... they had zero apologies, refused to give us any discount or credit for their huge mistake, and delayed our project by a month. Avoid them at all cost. Wow! As a self employed individual I cannot give enough praise to the professionalism and follow through to the owner of this company. Products are hard to come by especially during this time, the response, follow through and communication have far exceeded any company I have ever dealt with. Although some items were missing upon delivery and a few issues needed to be resolved the response and handling has by far exceeded most companies I've ever dealt with. Hannah is amazing! With only having a couple weeks of finding cabinets for my kitchen I searched all the Lowe's , Home Depot's and IKEAs and was not able to find anything that was quality and worth the price.
