Stopped by here for breakfast since this was highly rated on Yelp. I had a special that I think was called the 2x2x2. There were two eggs, two slices of bacon, potatoes and toast. The breakfast was good, portions were about right but not huge. The scrambled eggs were moist and not over cooked. Prices were slightly on the high side. Potatoes were ok, but some were slightly burnt. Service was friendly and food was served pretty quick. Worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood. read more

So thru pandemic me and my friends came to here every day and ate breakfast.. for year straight because we like them as for restaurants and friends and wanted them to make it thru.. pandemic every little bit helps well shortly after the pandemic. Something change. So stop going.. today went back and ask for extra cooked potatoes with onions eggs Benedict and they where not. I ask if I can get them cooked more.. well I got diff potatoes like have order and no onions. After asking 2 or 3 times So I said something.. well I was ask by one of the owners not to come back because I wasn't happy that I didn't get my food that I was paying for the way I wanted it! I'd say more a 3.5 but I rounded up because it's so clean and serene inside. Plus, the service was great. Our waitress who worked Thursday morning bright n early at opening time was so nice and was a great server. The place is modern and pretty. Pancakes were a good texture, not sweet. The veggie omelette and potatoes were very fresh and natural tasting. Servings would be a bit small for a medium to big appetite person. The food was good but it didn't blow my hair back. Not sure we'd go back just because there are so many other places we have to try on vacation in the area, but apparently the regulars love this place. read more

The only staff that even tried to smile was the hostess that seated us. Our waiter was a young man. We ordered, I asked for coffee with cream. He bought out barely a half cup of coffee, no cream. I asked if I could have a full cup of fresh coffee. The half cup he gave me smelled terrible. Even after bringing me a full cup, the coffee was not drinkable. Worse coffee I've ever had. Make it 34 , 5 star reviews, mine is $ 34 ... this place is amazing, looks good inside too, remodeled , even nice clean rest rooms. The onion soup is amazing, had it every time I went. The club sandwich is enough for 2 people and delicious ... no comparison to other lesser places. Salad is great too, and all sandwiches are amazing with lots of meat. A serious chef must be in the kitchen, and I sincerely appeciate that when I find it, and I found it here. Bravo !!! read more

5 STARS FOR FIRST VISIT. Let me say I was here about 2 months ago about 1:30 PM and thought it was awesome but there was only 2 other tables. I had the best tuna melt sandwich that I ever had and service was excellent. 1 STAR FOR TODAY but you'll get a 2 because I did experience better. I was there at 11:45 AM. Not overly busy yet. I waited at the lobby for a few minutes and received no attention. Then had a head nod to sit at a certain table. One waitress took my order. I had to ask for my drink. My sandwich was delivered and I asked for lemon which I originally ordered. That waitress left me and went on the other side to wait on a group of 10+ ladies. I had to ask the other waitress (there were only 2) and waited another five minutes. Now I had my taste buds set on that wonderful tuna melt. What a disappointment. It was like eating a runny mayonnaise sandwich. Disgusting. Maybe it was an off day so they will get one more try. If you are starting to change the way things are made then it will be a no go. Light... bright... and the food was just right. We came late morning so it was quiet, though I expect even when busy it's on the quiet side. Omelettes were excellent. Hash browns were phenomenal. I've lived in Surfside for close to 20 years, so I've been to most breakfast places in the area. This was honestly one of the best omelettes I've had around here. The potatoes were delicious, and their coffee is good, as well. Everything came out hot, service was friendly and on top of making sure we had what we needed. What a great place! The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about all the menu items. We came for brunch and the omelets were out-of-this-world fantastic. My fiancé and I were looking for a good breakfast to start our busy day and Raves was a great experience. Our server was super friendly, knowledgable, and served us at all the right times promptly. The food was incredible. I got a loaded omelet, (sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms and cheddar cheese) which contained fluffy eggs, fresh ingredients and a side of sautéed potatoes. I also ordered cinnamon French toast, which was the best I've ever had. They were fluffy, crispy on the outer edges and packed full of flavors. My fiancé got a ham and spinach omelet with one pancake. The pancake was large and offered a flavorful taste of vanilla and buttermilk.
