We randomly drove past Flintstones Bedrock City and curiosity got the best of us and boy, are we glad it did! For just $10, you can explore this quirky, Flintstones-themed park, feed some animals, and just have a genuinely fun time. The park is full of surprises: you can wander through all the Flintstones' homes, slide down a giant Dino slide, and even race each other on oversized tire bikes. It was definitely a unique experience that you won't find anywhere else. This little stop turned out to be one of the most unexpectedly fun parts of our Arizona trip. Perfect for kids, adults, and anyone who secretly wishes they lived in Bedrock. Truly a one-of-a-kind experience I'll always remember!

This is a niche little stop on the way to the Grand Canyon. If you like dinosaurs, the Flintstone's, birds of prey, goats, sheep, llama, or yummy treats, make sure to check them out! Yes, it needs some TLC, but we enjoyed it and the goatasauruses are the best!

"Yabba-Dabba-Don't... At Least Not This Time" As a certified big kid, I rolled up to Raptor Ranch/Flintstones Experience with high hopes and wide eyes, fully prepared to live out my prehistoric cartoon dreams. I mean... Flintstones village? Alpacas? A Dino slide?? Count me in. Or so I thought. Admission is $10 (unless you're active duty or military, then it's free--cool perk!), and while I was ready to indulge in a little Bedrock magic, I quickly realized... I could see most of it through the window. What I couldn't see was any sign of welcome. I wasn't greeted, waved at, or even acknowledged.... which, for a nostalgia-fueled roadside attraction, was kind of a buzzkill. Customer service? More like customer invisibility. Now let's talk alpacas.... because I love them. Like, irrationally. I would've paid the ten bucks just for a fuzzy hello. But other visitors were clearly disappointed, saying the alpacas were either hiding or not part of the action at all. Womp womp. On the upside: The store were clean The kids I saw come and go seemed pumped, especially about the Dino slide and a few of the activity zones But for me? The lack of energy and enthusiasm from the staff was enough to send me driving off into the desert sunset. I just couldn't justify paying to be ignored. Would I come back? Maybe... with a group of friends, for a kitschy, ironic detour full of eye-rolls and laughter. But would I go out of my way? Nah. Not until they put a little more "Wilmaaaaaaa!" into their welcome. For now, I'll stick to watching reruns and hugging alpaca plushies from afar. One star--for the novelty, clean floors, and organized goodies.

As someone obsessed with dinosaurs and goats this was a perfect stop. The Rv sites are reasonably priced and they have a communal dump station as well as water and electric at the sites. . A solid place to stay especially if you have little ones interested in flinstones, dinos, or barn animals.

We liked feeding the animals. Definitely exists just to appease parents who brought kids to the Grand Canyon. Pretty run down place but kids won't notice that. Kiddos can play here and let off some pent up energy from the long drive. $10 admission or free for military/dependents :)

09/26/2023 I should have read some other reviews that don't recommend stopping here. Arriving here is like walking into a theme park for The Flintstones Bedrock City. Parked in front of the building that shows Entrance to Park. My brother asked where the restroom is located. He gets a reply from the girl at the counter that there isn't a public restroom here. The rest of us walk in to check out the place and see what Flintstone stuff we could see. I could hear the girl whisper or in a softer voice saying that's the group that blah blah blah. Look, you're going to get a bunch of tourist running through here and probably stopping in like we did. I would have wanted to check out the ranch and see what you all are doing with the amazing birds. We were looking for something to eat and drink so Fred's Diner was perfect to have everything in one place. I think if your place is relying on tourist spending money at your place, you need to work on your customer service. Is it because we are in Arizona? Is it because of this town of Williams? Is it just in this place that you aren't welcoming to visitors? That's what the gift shop is there for? We don't want to spend a dime at this place and gladly spend it somewhere else. People are traveling more. I wouldn't recommend stopping here.

Why 5 Stars?? Clean. Clean. Clean. The grounds are clean. The facilities are clean. The general store is well stocked, reasonably priced and clean. The laundry is bright, well maintained and clean. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is a 30 minute drive to the Grand Canyon and Sodona is a little over an hour. Raptor Ranch is across the highway from Rocks And More, a fun store with gem stones if all sizes. Raptor Ranch has a Flintstones theme. The Bedrock park theme is fun, something different and although a bit dated, the park is well maintained. I stayed in the Glamping Tent-prairie Falcon. As a first time clamper, I would do it again. I loved the views, the morning sky, the night sky. There's a fire ring, for a quick campfire. The bed is comfortable, the provided linens, blankets and towels are above average quality. The tent, is a large canvas tent with awning and twinkle lights. There is a really sturdy, comfortable bed with nightstands and large drawers. The tent included a small cooler and the card games like Uno. There is an outdoor metal picnic table with four chairs. Perfect for eating outside or looking up at the night sky. As a first time Glamper, I did not love that there was no electricity in the tent. There was a small battery that operated lights and a small USB charger. The shower and restroom facilities were clean, well maintained rand there was electricity and flushing toilets. However, as the campground is "off grid", the spaces were a bit tight and waterflow not the best. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

Was the flintstones admission technically worth the money? Maybe not, it's a bit run down. But I am so obsessed with the flintstones and this was a one time opportunity, so I have no regrets and had a really great time!

Such a cool spot to visit! Whether traveling as a couple, with a dog or family- something for everyone! Staff was SO welcoming and helpful. We got to meet Stinky the owl and it was so fun to learn about her species. Must purchase the lil snack bag to feed the "goatasaurus." So cute We went in the middle of winter- sure it's even more fun when it's not so cold and they have more birds out doing shows! Definitely a must visit.

We booked an RV site here and it exceeded our expectations. My kids 5 & 8 loved the Flintstone area. We also did an afternoon Raptor show and the kids thought it was so cool. The sites themselves are basic gravel and decently level, but the add on value of having animals and a whole flinstone village, upped the experience for the whole family. Distance from the Grand Canyon was great too! Definitely would recommend this to fellow campers, or just people visiting the Grand Canyon.

I remember going here as a kid, back when it was called Bedrock City. - It is one of the few things I remember from a trip 40ish years ago. When I saw that it was still around, I knew we had to stop in for my grandson and nieces to experience. This is a great place to let kids unwind after a long day of travel! Some of the Flintstones buildings and statues need some work, but the owners are updating and expanding/improving the attraction, and honestly, the kids didn't notice the paint cracks and this area was for them. The swings, teeter totter, and slide are all in great shape. The Goats are super cute and being able to feed them was a high light for our 5 year olds! The raptors! Imagine your kids being able to land a bird of prey on their gloved hand, imagine the looks of astonishment as they are allowed to interact with a 7 week old owl, now imagine tired happy kids ready to grab some dinner and go to sleep after a day of adventures. The $8 admission fee was well spent!

If you leave this place feeling anything other than complete shock and sadness there is something wrong with you. I cannot believe that these poor birds are living like this and that no one has stepped in. In 2019 the owner of this run down park was featured on the news describing his plan to transform the park into a "bird of prey venue that demonstrates how the birds act in the wild" In reality the birds are left alone in small cages, with no enrichment tools, water or food. They can't fly. All they do is sit in their own feces on the one and only perch. It is depressing. I definitely wasn't focused on the tore up 50 year old Flinstones replica after that.

It was fun to take kids too. The price is 10 each person. We stopped here on the way to Grand Canyon. We kinda rushed as it was cold. The owl and goats were my personal favorite.

It's about an hour south of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, about an hour or so north of Sedona, and less than an hour west of Flagstaff. So it is nicely placed to do excursions. Also, since it's virtually impossible to get a campsite at the Grand Canyon, this RV park works out pretty well for us. Aside from the convenience of accessing other areas, the town of Williams itself is very charming. We always find there's plenty to do. It's less than a five minute drive from the RV site to the center of town where they have plenty of restaurants and gift shops to check out, a nice wine shop, and a couple of breweries. The town of Williams is part of the Route 66 Highway, and the town has a 50s/60s vibe to it, almost like a scene out of American Graffiti. One of our favorite things to do when we're here is go to Cruiser's Route 66 Cafe where you can get a smoked brisket sandwich, burger, and the like, as well as drinks from a full bar, as you listen to live music from talented local musician John Carpino, as he sings and plays acoustic guitar, harmonica, and percussion doing a variety of classic rock, country, and audience favorites. One of the things we really love about this park is they have a dog washing station. They also have a laundry mat. There is a Spa area that we've used in the past, but it was out of service this time around. Not sure why. Maybe it was a casualty of COVID. There is a train track terminal in the town of Williams, so there are occasional trains that go by the park taking passengers up to the Grand Canyon. We've never done the train ride, but that sounds like something fun to do. The point is, you'll hear some train noise sometimes in the middle of the night. Still not enough to knock my review below 5 stars. The WIFI is OK. We were actually able to stream some of our shows, but oftentimes, we would loose the signal. Again, still not enough to knock my review below 5 stars.

Admission is $30/adult. I bought my tickets online and taxes and fees were about $15. So completely worth it. We opted to drive thru once, then parked to use their restrooms which were clean and well stocked. Then we drove through one more time before they closed that section--last car through at 4pm and the park closes at 5:30pm. The second time we went through, they had just fed all the animals so they were super active! They'll come right up to your car, which can feel a little intimidating. That's the closest I ever want to be to a bear or a wolf! They have the animal areas themed and everything is so cute! The walk through exhibits are great as well. Amazing gift shop. So cool to watch the grizzlies as well. If you're ever in Williams, AZ, I cannot recommend checking this place out more! You will not regret it!

Want to see a bison, wolf or bear up close and personal? Come to Bearizona!…read more This is part drive through park/zoo and part walk about zoo. You stay in your car to pay your admission, and you are then let through an entrance gate type thing. You drive past mountain goats/Dall sheep, deer, donkeys, and other not-so-scary animals. As you make your way through the park, you pass through multiple cordoned off areas, each with different animals: multiple bear species, wolves, and bison, to name a few. When in THESE particular areas, you are required to have all your windows up and your sun/moon roof closed for your safety. It's normally bumper to bumper, so you get to be in this part of the park a fairly decent amount of time. At one point, you drive out into a prairie area where the bison are, and you can stay out there longer, as even though there is a "road" you stay on, others can drive around you if they want to get a move on. After seeing all of these big animals, you pass through another gate and into a parking lot. You can either leave the premises, or park and go into the walking zoo. In this portion are smaller animals like eagles, otters, turkey, badgers....mostly North American wildlife. However, there is an area with jaguars in it. There a few small places to get a souvenir or a soda, and then there is the very VERY large gift shop. The gift shop has a large restaurant in it (we didn't go in), and a few small rooms that act like a museum of sorts. Also throughout, in various sneaky areas are large cages/tanks with animals in them like snakes. The gift shop carries just about anything you can imagine from the typical logo shirts to animal themed toys and post cards. But then, it carries other things like hand made pottery mugs and pocket knives. Overall, this was a neat place to visit. You can tell the animals are well cared for, and all enclosures are clean and mimic the animals' natural habitats quite nicely. Each one has a nice amount of space and places for the animals to escape the view of guests when they want to. Bearizona is located almost exactly across from AZ-64 North, the main road to Grand Canyon National Park, just a short drive from Flagstaff. 14/2026
