    Timber Wolf

We took my 3 year old nephew here for his birthday and we all a great time. We did the drive thru portion twice and spent a few hours in the walk thru portion. The show they did in the central square was fun for us to watch as a group and we enjoyed looking at the scale map of the park in the shop too. We somehow missed the elf and the jaguars but we got to see all the other animals. The timber Wolf even came right up to our car! This is a really cool stop. Highly recommend stopping by at least once.

We absolutely adored this place! Such a great concept! My friend had told me about this place years ago and I'm so happy my girls and I were able to experience this place! Admission is $30/adult. I bought my tickets online and taxes and fees were about $15. So completely worth it. We opted to drive thru once, then parked to use their restrooms which were clean and well stocked. Then we drove through one more time before they closed that section--last car through at 4pm and the park closes at 5:30pm. The second time we went through, they had just fed all the animals so they were super active! They'll come right up to your car, which can feel a little intimidating. That's the closest I ever want to be to a bear or a wolf! They have the animal areas themed and everything is so cute! The walk through exhibits are great as well. Amazing gift shop. So cool to watch the grizzlies as well. If you're ever in Williams, AZ, I cannot recommend checking this place out more! You will not regret it!

Great family trip and experience at Bearizona. The kids loved seeing the different animals. Stopped at the restaurant and grabbed some food as well. Prices are a tad bit high but the drive thru and walk through experience was worth it.

My family recommended this place since my 9 years old love bear since she was little. Looking back, she has a bear blanket when she was a baby. We spent over four hours enjoying the park. What is great is we were allowed to have our dog with us in the van while driving through. Our dog's name Fuzzy Bear enjoyed the drive through and seeing the bears playing in the water and walking along the side road. It was so cool. I was told the park used recycled materials for landscaping around the park. Like salvaged wood for creating benches and fences. Old tires were transformed into planters or garden borders. So, I did spent time looking around the section of the walk through. I did see the old wreck van/bus/truck were used as a wall. The place kept well clean throughout the park. We went there on a Tuesday, and it was not crowded at all.

During our family trip to the Grand Canyon we stayed in a cute town called Williams. We went in November so it was decorated with Christmas decorations. It was truly magical. On our way home we had to stop at Bearizona. It was a great experience, especially the drive thru zoo, we seen the bears, wolves, reindeer, rams/goats up close & personal! We even seen a black bear taking a bath then it got out & came next to our vehicles, we were amazed, our kiddos loved it! After the drive thru zoo, we were able to park & enter the walk thru zoo. Bearizona was well maintained, even the bathrooms were clean & they had a restaurant/bar next to a huge gift shop which was also clean! Overall our family vacation was a success, thank you Bearizona & Williams for being apart of our family's memories!

Bearizona is a must see when visiting Williams AZ. Route 66. Bearizona reminds me of days of old " with places like furniture village" Google it" you pay to go in and walk around, they have many live animal exhibit, like Panthers, leopards, grizzly bears, raccoons, badgers.... And on and on. They have a neat souvenir shop as well. "Stay far away from the restaurant, it's overpriced, and disgusting. See my review." After walking the grounds you hop in your car and drive through the park. "You cannot step out of the vehicle!" There are wolves and bears roaming around free!! So cool!! I got to see 2 black bears going at it!! I saw a bear in a tree, Elks, and a wolf was licking our car tire! lol! You can drive through the zoo as many times as you like as well. This zoo is a place to bring your camera for sure.

This was on my list of things to experience in AZ. The Park is located in the plush forests between Flagstaff and Williams is a safari park like no other! We paid when we pulled in $35 (per person). It's a great deal especially with the gracious opportunity to go thru the drive several times. A pamphlet of the tour is provided. We opted for the drive version, as we had our small dogs in the car. They do tag your vehicle with a special sticker for this. *Pets are NOT allowed in the walk thru version of the park*. We saw so much during our visit. Long horn sheep, a donkey, deer ( of many species), wolves, elk, bison and of course the bears! One was even bathing in a big bucket, he was such a show off! LOL The additional walk thru excursion; they do have a restaurant inside, local bands playing on stage (check their website for details ) and explore the huge gift shop. There's a petting zoo, plus-raccoons, bobcats, jaguars and many more animals to explore. You'll even get to feed the bears and otters too! Keep in mind ALL of this is an additional expense. An amazing experience overall and such a cool adventure to be that "up close and personal" to wildlife. It was well worth the trip and a memorable time.

This animal park is located in Williams AZ which is about 45 minutes away from the Grand Canyon. You pay at the gate for entrance and can either go straight to the walking part of the park or you can pull in to the three and a half mile drive through portion of the park. We drove and right away we were greeted by mountain goats. Every few feet another new animal appeared and we were enchanted by these wild animals just living their best lives while we drove around them! Among the wolves and goats and bears (oh my!) you also get to see a mule, deer and chipmunks. Once you park in the spacious lot you get to go into the walking part and stroll around and see other wild animals like two jaguars, a gaggle of river otters and a wild boar. The food at the restaurant was a bit overpriced and I wasn't impressed with the quality, but that was really the only thing I can complain about! Overall a very fun trip for the family or even by yourself!

Black bear in the drive thru part

We have been to other drive through wildlife parks but this is our favorite so far. Loved seeing the wolves and all the bears just cruising around the car was amazing. We also liked the walk thru part. They have done a nice job and we will definitely go again in the future when visiting the area. We drove through the park twice!

We love this place so much we ended up getting an annual pass! The drive-through part is always fun--seeing the bears, buffalo, and tundra wolves never gets old. After that, we like to park and walk around to check out more animals. Definitely download the app to see feeding times--the kids get such a kick out of feeding the otters. The VIP tour is our favorite. We book it ahead of time and it's so worth it. Getting up close with the sloth, handing apples to the buffalo, and seeing the wolves training session is such a cool experience. We have gone on the VIP tour on two separate trips now. Highly recommend! Tip: On our first trip we didn't realize that with a day pass you can't leave and come back later. Visitors can either eat at the restaurant onsite (we eat here at least once each trip, which is pretty good!) or bring snacks like some families do. There are picnic tables near the entrance of the park. They also have a snack stand and coffee cart for refueling.

Great adventures love the animals. The drive through was very short but worth it. The walking is far but such an experience

Bearizona is a drive through wilderness park and also has a walking area after the drive through. We did the drive through and then strolled through the park area after. It was very cool to see these animals in a protected area while still being able to roam free in a natural habitat, unlike a zoo. The walking area featured gift shops and some smaller animal areas but it was still just as fun. If you're in Williams looking for a fun family place and love animals, I highly recommend coming here!

I just got the small cup which was $4, but they also have a bigger size cup and an entire bucket. The small cup is plenty for me, but we did see a family with your kids that have the bucket. It comes with cups that you could refill from the bucket. There's a sweet little cat that lives in the gift shop named Pumpkin. When you first go in you pass a pen with some goats in it. We laughed because a large goat came to the fence to look at us and the Little goat came and head butted the bigger goat as hard as he could. He was an annoying little guy for the big goat. You go through another gate and you see the deer everywhere. They are some tan ones and brown ones and lots of spotted ones. They definitely recognize the cup because several immediately came over to us. Some of them can be rather aggressive, pushing others out of the way. They also use their head to get your attention. I put some food in my hand and they ate straight from my hand. I tried to be fair and make sure some of the smaller or less assertive dear got some food. Several times I found that they were trying to eat my dress so I just step back and pulled my skirt out of their mouth. It's actually kind of funny. My husband is correct - it is kind of gross because they lick your hands, but I really enjoy it anyway. There's a sink to wash your hands. There are some other animals to walk around and see you - - the camel, different kinds of deer, a wallaby, a zonkey (half zebra half donkey), reindeer, a tiny pony, there's even a little marmoset. I love to see the animals, but if you have depends seem a little small and I like to see the animals have lots and lots of space. I think if you have kids that are easily intimidated and scared, dear might be too aggressive for them. My kids would have been fine, but I know people with children who would probably start crying, so keep that in mind.

The Day I Was Mugged by Deer (In the Best Way)…read more If you're driving through Northern Arizona and see a sign for Grand Canyon Deer Farm, pull over immediately. Trust me. This place is basically a 10-acre animal park where the deer run the show... and they know exactly who has snacks. The moment you walk in with a cup of feed, you instantly become the most popular human in the entire forest. Deer appear out of nowhere like fuzzy little snack detectives. One minute you're calmly feeding one deer, the next you're surrounded by a polite but very determined deer mob inspecting your pockets, shoelaces, and possibly your soul. And honestly... it's amazing. The deer are incredibly friendly and will happily eat right out of your hand. You can pet them, feed them, and get pictures that look like you're starring in your own Disney movie. But it's not just deer. There are wallabies, llamas, goats, bison, peacocks, and other animals wandering around the farm, so it feels like a mini zoo adventure where everything is up close and interactive. Admission is very reasonable for such a unique experience: * Adults: about $20 * Seniors: about $17 * Children: about $12 * Kids under 3 are free They are open daily from 9 AM - 6 PM (spring/summer) and 10 AM - 5 PM in winter, making it an easy stop if you're heading to the Grand Canyon or exploring Williams. And don't skip the gift shop when you walk in. It's actually really cool and full of niche treasures -- crystals, jewelry, souvenirs, gifts, and all kinds of fun stuff. It's the kind of place where you walk in thinking you'll just look around and somehow leave holding crystals, a bracelet, and a Route 66 souvenir you didn't know you needed. The whole place has this quirky, old-school Arizona roadside attraction vibe that makes it even more charming. If you love animals, road trip stops, or the idea of being gently harassed by extremely adorable deer for snacks... this place is a must. Overall Rating: 10/10 would absolutely get surrounded by snack-seeking deer again.
