During our family trip to the Grand Canyon we stayed in a cute town called Williams. We went in November so it was decorated with Christmas decorations. It was truly magical. On our way home we had to stop at Bearizona. It was a great experience, especially the drive thru zoo, we seen the bears, wolves, reindeer, rams/goats up close & personal! We even seen a black bear taking a bath then it got out & came next to our vehicles, we were amazed, our kiddos loved it! After the drive thru zoo, we were able to park & enter the walk thru zoo. Bearizona was well maintained, even the bathrooms were clean & they had a restaurant/bar next to a huge gift shop which was also clean! Overall our family vacation was a success, thank you Bearizona & Williams for being apart of our family's memories!

Great adventures love the animals. The drive through was very short but worth it. The walking is far but such an experience

Bearizona is a must see when visiting Williams AZ. Route 66. Bearizona reminds me of days of old " with places like furniture village" Google it" you pay to go in and walk around, they have many live animal exhibit, like Panthers, leopards, grizzly bears, raccoons, badgers.... And on and on. They have a neat souvenir shop as well. "Stay far away from the restaurant, it's overpriced, and disgusting. See my review." After walking the grounds you hop in your car and drive through the park. "You cannot step out of the vehicle!" There are wolves and bears roaming around free!! So cool!! I got to see 2 black bears going at it!! I saw a bear in a tree, Elks, and a wolf was licking our car tire! lol! You can drive through the zoo as many times as you like as well. This zoo is a place to bring your camera for sure.

This was on my list of things to experience in AZ. The Park is located in the plush forests between Flagstaff and Williams is a safari park like no other! We paid when we pulled in $35 (per person). It's a great deal especially with the gracious opportunity to go thru the drive several times. A pamphlet of the tour is provided. We opted for the drive version, as we had our small dogs in the car. They do tag your vehicle with a special sticker for this. *Pets are NOT allowed in the walk thru version of the park*. We saw so much during our visit. Long horn sheep, a donkey, deer ( of many species), wolves, elk, bison and of course the bears! One was even bathing in a big bucket, he was such a show off! LOL The additional walk thru excursion; they do have a restaurant inside, local bands playing on stage (check their website for details ) and explore the huge gift shop. There's a petting zoo, plus-raccoons, bobcats, jaguars and many more animals to explore. You'll even get to feed the bears and otters too! Keep in mind ALL of this is an additional expense. An amazing experience overall and such a cool adventure to be that "up close and personal" to wildlife. It was well worth the trip and a memorable time.

This animal park is located in Williams AZ which is about 45 minutes away from the Grand Canyon. You pay at the gate for entrance and can either go straight to the walking part of the park or you can pull in to the three and a half mile drive through portion of the park. We drove and right away we were greeted by mountain goats. Every few feet another new animal appeared and we were enchanted by these wild animals just living their best lives while we drove around them! Among the wolves and goats and bears (oh my!) you also get to see a mule, deer and chipmunks. Once you park in the spacious lot you get to go into the walking part and stroll around and see other wild animals like two jaguars, a gaggle of river otters and a wild boar. The food at the restaurant was a bit overpriced and I wasn't impressed with the quality, but that was really the only thing I can complain about! Overall a very fun trip for the family or even by yourself!

We love this place so much we ended up getting an annual pass! The drive-through part is always fun--seeing the bears, buffalo, and tundra wolves never gets old. After that, we like to park and walk around to check out more animals. Definitely download the app to see feeding times--the kids get such a kick out of feeding the otters. The VIP tour is our favorite. We book it ahead of time and it's so worth it. Getting up close with the sloth, handing apples to the buffalo, and seeing the wolves training session is such a cool experience. We have gone on the VIP tour on two separate trips now. Highly recommend! Tip: On our first trip we didn't realize that with a day pass you can't leave and come back later. Visitors can either eat at the restaurant onsite (we eat here at least once each trip, which is pretty good!) or bring snacks like some families do. There are picnic tables near the entrance of the park. They also have a snack stand and coffee cart for refueling.

Bear having a tasty lunch :)

Bearizona is a drive through wilderness park and also has a walking area after the drive through. We did the drive through and then strolled through the park area after. It was very cool to see these animals in a protected area while still being able to roam free in a natural habitat, unlike a zoo. The walking area featured gift shops and some smaller animal areas but it was still just as fun. If you're in Williams looking for a fun family place and love animals, I highly recommend coming here!

My family and I had such a great experience. From the moment we drove in until we walked out. Prices are reasonable, given how much you get to experience. It was a very unique experience. There's a drive-through and walk-through experience. My favorite drive-through experience was the bison. Being up close was so cool. The walk-through part of the experiment is also very nice because you get to see the animals up closer. There's also an event on the main grass area for families to enjoy. Food and drinks are also available In designated areas around the park. There Is also a restaurant and a gift shop. My kids loved it!

I absolutely loved this! We made a point to stop here on our drive from Las Vegas to Flagstaff. My husband drove us through because I was a little nervous about it, and wanted to see everything fully (hehe). For everything you see and experience, I thought the price was well worth it, especially since at the end of the drive you can go into the walk-around area. We saw so many amazing things, and everything was out, wandering around, eating. I was in heaven! This is a really cool way to see nature up close in a safe way. Even going into the walking part was cool! We got to pet some goats, we saw grizzly bears up close through some plexiglass while they slept, and some other cute creatures. We came through on a Thursday, holiday, afternoon and there weren't a bunch of cars out there with us and the inside part was very quiet. This was a great experience at a pretty good price. I absolutely recommend making some time for this place if you pass through or stay nearby.

We had a wonderful time visiting Bearizona. Our daughters truly enjoyed the experience and we loved the drive-thru portion where we could watch the animals roam freely. We also explored the walking areas and were able to catch a few of the shows. The gift shop was also a great place to take a break. We would definitely recommend this experience to others.

Very unique and pleasant experience- Drive through zoo, walk through zoo, large gift shop, restaurant. Drive through- Very family friendly, we brought our dog, everyone stayed in the car and drove through it twice! We saw wolves, bears, goats and many animals. The walk through portion (pets not allowed) is like a regular zoo. The gift shop and restaurant visit is a must. Clean bathrooms, great place for families. Highly recommended!

So Fun & Something Different at Bearizona! A lot of our friends recommended visiting Bearizona, and I'm so glad we finally did! We went over Memorial Day weekend--it was packed, but still such a great time. We started with the drive-through safari and were amazed at how close the animals got to our car. It was such a unique and fun experience for the whole family! After that, we did the walk-through portion and were able to see everything pretty quickly. Pro tip: don't miss the area behind the restaurant/gift shop--if you walk through, you'll find even more animals like a jaguar, panther, and elk! The jaguar and panther were cuddling when we were there--absolutely adorable. The drinks at the restaurant's bar were really good, and there were little carts throughout the park with snacks, treats, and drinks. We also brought our own food, which was no problem. The entire park was clean, well-maintained, and made for an easy, fun family outing. Highly recommend Bearizona if you're looking for something different, interactive, and memorable!

Grand Canyon Deer Farm

The Day I Was Mugged by Deer (In the Best Way)…read more If you're driving through Northern Arizona and see a sign for Grand Canyon Deer Farm, pull over immediately. Trust me. This place is basically a 10-acre animal park where the deer run the show... and they know exactly who has snacks. The moment you walk in with a cup of feed, you instantly become the most popular human in the entire forest. Deer appear out of nowhere like fuzzy little snack detectives. One minute you're calmly feeding one deer, the next you're surrounded by a polite but very determined deer mob inspecting your pockets, shoelaces, and possibly your soul. And honestly... it's amazing. The deer are incredibly friendly and will happily eat right out of your hand. You can pet them, feed them, and get pictures that look like you're starring in your own Disney movie. But it's not just deer. There are wallabies, llamas, goats, bison, peacocks, and other animals wandering around the farm, so it feels like a mini zoo adventure where everything is up close and interactive. Admission is very reasonable for such a unique experience: * Adults: about $20 * Seniors: about $17 * Children: about $12 * Kids under 3 are free They are open daily from 9 AM - 6 PM (spring/summer) and 10 AM - 5 PM in winter, making it an easy stop if you're heading to the Grand Canyon or exploring Williams. And don't skip the gift shop when you walk in. It's actually really cool and full of niche treasures -- crystals, jewelry, souvenirs, gifts, and all kinds of fun stuff. It's the kind of place where you walk in thinking you'll just look around and somehow leave holding crystals, a bracelet, and a Route 66 souvenir you didn't know you needed. The whole place has this quirky, old-school Arizona roadside attraction vibe that makes it even more charming. If you love animals, road trip stops, or the idea of being gently harassed by extremely adorable deer for snacks... this place is a must. Overall Rating: 10/10 would absolutely get surrounded by snack-seeking deer again.

Staff is super friendly and so are the deer! They offer cups of feed for $4 or $6, and you are able…read moreto keep the cup as a souvenir. I would recommend each person in your party has a cup of feed, because that is how you are going to become the most popular person on the farm! The deer will be all over you if you have food, and they may nip at your shirts and shoelaces, but they were very gentle. I would highly recommend wearing clothes that you are okay with getting dirty and possibly torn! Don't wear any loose articles of clothing, have anything hanging out of your pockets, and tuck in your shoelaces! Bring some quarters, as well, because there are dispensers around the farm with corn for the deer (we noticed that some of them preferred just the corn and did not care for the regular feed). We couldn't have loved our experience more and will be back again! Bonus points for the employee of the month, the lovely calico cat that was in the gift shop! She was a gem! 5/5 would recommend for families and animal lovers! You can easily spend a couple hours here.

Each tent has its own bed/beds, linens, extra blankets, towels, dresser, cooler with a pound of ice/gallon of water, as well as large space heater and two battery powered lanterns. Bathroom/restroom are shared, and are both located inside of a separate tent. There is running hot water and flushing toilet, special soap provided to keep the greywater clean. Open fires are not permitted within the enclosure, but there is a lovely propane powered fire pit that provides ambiance and fire for s'mores at night. Camping ware is provided, so just bring your own food to cook. There is a propane powered portable stove as well. Don't expect a BBQ grill, tho. Sam, the porter, makes coffee and cocoa for everyone. A small continental breakfast of fruit and muffins is provided. Highly recommend chatting with him, he is an outdoor survival specialist and teaches classes. Guests are locked into the enclosure at night, and unfortunately cannot wander off to explore. There are some games such as Jenga and Cornhole, but ultimately this little village is ideal for couples just wanting some time to connect. The greatest thing about the experience is all of the incredible animal sounds you get to hear at night while snuggled in your tent...such as lions and wolves. In the morning you awake to the sweet sounds of birds chirping. Throughly enjoyed myself here, and have already done it twice.
