We had such an amazing time. They have a moving walkway, so you don't have to lug your tube up the hill. I noticed that they would slow the walkway down, so the really little kids could get off without injury. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. Brandon made tubing so much fun even though t was over 100° the day we went. We only did the mountain coaster one time due to it being $20 per person. I usually get motion sickness on roller coasters, but I didn't have any problem on this coaster. My son who is scared of roller coasters even loved it. If someone from Canyon is reading this... please lower the Coaster price or at least give people who buy a photo package a free ride, play some music by the tubes, consider putting a misting system at the bottom of the slide and put in a bottled water vending station for the tubers by the employee station. read more

Fun atmosphere, but for $20 you get one ride down the coaster. My one ride consisted of a person in front of me consistently hitting the brakes so my ride was extremely slow. The person at the end asked how my experience was and I told them how my cart kept stopping itself due to being behind someone holding the breaks. After telling them, they didn't respond and walked off. Obviously this may not be a normal experience, but it's unfortunate that my one ride got slowed down by not having the carts spaced out more. read more

One and done, for sure, 100%. My son wanted to come up here for his birthday. We stayed the night in Flagstaff and then drove out here to Williams right when they opened at 10am. You have to sign a waiver before you even buy your ticket. About that.........the staff (kids) in the waiver area weren't the most helpful. They were just kind of "there". Younger group of folks, whatever. After you get your little zip tie attached, you then go outside to purchase tickets. We bought 2 tickets for my kids. $50 bucks each!! JESUS! And they tack on a credit card fee, so it was really $103. This provides you unlimited rides down the hill from 10am-4pm. Thing is though, that you realistically can't ride down that hill for more than an hour or two without getting bored. They should really offer an option where you can buy 2 hours for like $25.00 or something like that. My kids were ready to leave at about 11:30. They had more fun just playing in the snow when we pulled over at Munds park on the way back home. The lady at the entrance to the tubing (didn't get her name, had a broken wrist though), was super friendly and was about the only good thing about this experience. The ladies in the cafe were pretty friendly too. Sadly, like I said before, this is a one and done type deal. WAY too expensive for what they offer. Meh! read more

This was SO MUCH fun and a must do when in town! We stopped by on Saturday and it wasn't too busy when we arrived. We went inside, signed the waiver, and got our bracelets. After this, we were directed back outside to purchase our tickets. Tickets for the coaster are $20 per person for one ride. A little too pricey in my opinion since it only covers one coaster ride. No discounts are offered. We went outside and waited in line about 45minutes to get on. Once our turn, we each got our own seat. The employees were all friendly and made sure that we were secured. A great time for the family! The canyon coaster has a height restriction for littles so definitely look it up before hand. There is also snow tubing that is fun for the entire family! We didn't even know this place existed until we were driving by to go to a coffee shop in town. We decided it absolutely warranted a stop on the way back out of town. It was a Monday so no wait, walked right in sign the waiver and got our tickets. The guy is loading us was really cool and gave us directions on how to use the carts. Quick, fun ride!! Waited 20 minutes to pay for admission. $295 just to snow tube and ride the canyon coaster once. The coaster is fun- we went on a Sunday right at opening and did not have to wait in a line for the coaster. The snow tubing was awful. It was icy and slippery and the employees were rude! We went 2 times. The tubing is so rough and the hills are hard. We waited in line to go up the hill and at the top of the hill you get to wait in another long line. Only 2 lanes open and they were so icy it hurt my backside going down. We planned our whole trip up north around seeing snow... I had to explain to my kids that this wasn't real snow. We were all disappointed with our visit. Hard pass on the snow tubing and not worth it just for a canyon coaster that cost $20 per ride. read more

A great little stop on our way to Bearizona. We came for the canyon coaster and everyone loved it. Tip: leave all belongings in the car if you plan on riding the coaster otherwise they make you leave it at the ride entrance somewhat unattended. They do have workers in the area but they are busy with safety checks of riders getting on and off.) Took the family up north for the Christmas holiday so the kids could enjoy some snow. Parking for the establishment is a joke and you'll need to park in town and walk to the park which was a bummer. The $50 per person charge with a credit card fee added on was kind of ridiculous. Especially considering that half the hills were closed and the wait time was astronomical. We were there from 11 to closing time and my kids managed to go down the hill 3 times....3 times!!! What an absolute joke! They also sell roller coaster tickets for an additional $20 but that is for one ride that lasts about 5 minutes. One of my kids was so bored on the hill since he was really just moving in a long line he wanted to try the coaster but that line took over 2 hours which wasn't uch better than the hill. Really the only saving grace was the restaurant lounge section where if you didn't want to wait in the cold while your kids played you could sit and watch the games while videos of the hill and waiting areas were also available so you could watch and keep an eye on things. The food wasn't anything to write home about but they had good options for little kids and a pretty good selection at the bar for adults. Overall I would not return and could think of many better ways to spend that kind of money for such little return. read more

We visited Canyon Coaster Adventure Park on 12/23 and were lucky it wasn't too crowded. Since there's no natural snow in Flagstaff right now, they use snow machines to create snow. We got there early, and the snow tubing was a lot of fun! However, as more people arrived, the snow started wearing down. After a lunch break, we went back to tubing, but the slopes weren't as slippery as they were in the morning. So, we decided to try the Canyon Coaster instead. At $20 per ride, it was pretty fun--just wish the track was longer! Overall, it was a great experience, and we're thinking about coming back in the summer to try mountain tubing. read more

Wow! This was so much fun. My family of 15 made the trip here. They were friendly and accommodating. My father needs help with a Walker and they let him take it right up to the coaster to get on. The kids who went ranged in ages from 3-17 and all had fun. Most ride by themselves and enjoyed it. Adults had a blast. This park has potential to be so much better than what we experienced. Unfortunately, the park does not pre sell tickets online and makes no effort to forecast or make capacity limitations on ticket sales. We waited 30 minutes standing in line just to buy tickets. We spent $300 for a family of 4 to experience a single ride on the mountain coaster and a 3-9 pm unlimited glow tubing pass. It took 2.5 hours to get through the mountain coaster line and at the end we found out the ability to purchase our ride video was broken. When we got to the glow tubing it was shut down for 20 min to maintain 2 single hills. We only got to ride the unlimited inter-tubes 5 times despite staying until 9 pm and going down as doubles. While we understand the park had to produce its own snow due to the dry winter, I would AGAIN reiterate that they need to put capacity limitations on their ticket sales or pay to produce enough snow for all 4 lanes to be opened. This place could be great but it needs operational guidance if they expect people to want to pay these prices for hours of waiting. Add a separate line for doubles on the mountain coaster and alternate doubles and singles! Invest in some forecasting software, even restaurants use this now. Offer online ticket sales and cut tickets off if you can't accommodate wait times under 30 minutes. It's 2025, technology could help you become a destination park that people write rave reviews about. Unfortunately I can't recommend this experience as is. read more

Snow tubbing was going good , lines were moving smooth . All the staff was patient and hospitable. We were in line for the 2nd time with passes visible ,and this dude would not let my wife get back in line with me. Wife went to let kids use bathroom since line was long and they saw little play area of snow on the way up . He would not let my family walk up even though I was in line . I went alone and had to go back up again. Talk about not reading the room . We paid a pretty penny to enjoy and he treated us like freeloaders. The Canyon Coaster is a pure adrenaline rush down a one-mile-long mountain coaster! What is there NOT to love about this. We visited the Canyon Coaster Adventure Park on a Friday afternoon. There was no wait for anything. Before you can purchase your tickets, you do need to go inside and fill out the waiver form for everyone who wants to ride. The cost for the coaster is $20 for a single rider and $10 for a child to ride with an adult. This was cheaper than I expected and was worth the price for a thrill ride. I am a big guy, so I was super excited when I saw the maximum weight limit!!! I had no issues riding or getting on or off the ride. The queue to get on the ride is on the second level. The line moves fast. Once you get on the vehicle, the ride operator gives you some last minute instructions and then you are on your way. You are NOT allowed to take any cameras or phone with you on the ride. So you will not be able to record your experience. However, there is an onboard camera that records your entire ride. At the end of the ride you can purchase the video for $15 The ride up to the top of the mountain is beautiful and then once at the top, the ride down is awesome. If you are riding with a younger child or if you just don't want to go full speed, you have complete control of your speed coming down. At full speed, it can get very bumpy. And you need to be careful with those behind you, because there is no way to stop them, unless they see you....so you have to make sure that you keep moving. For the family members that are not riding, there is a live video feed in the cafe area that shows each rider reaching the top, just before they head down! There is also an inner tubing slide at the adventure park. We did not do this attraction, but it can be bundled with the coaster for a discounted price. It's similar to snow sledding, without the snow. Overall this was a great experience, and it's a quick activity to add to your visit to Williams, Arizona. We spent about 30 minutes getting our tickets and then riding. Highly recommend!!!! read more

Most of the ride was going slow getting pulled to the top, and the ride down was less than 2 minutes after that. There was no option for a package of rides on the roller coaster, strictly one ticket at a time. For the tube, which we did not bother with, there was at least a package of several rides, and the tube was not as expensive to begin with. read more

We rode the mountain coaster only. Pretty good ride, a bit more expensive ($20pp) than the coasters in TN. As far as I know this is the closest mountain coaster to LAS. If you like coasters you must ride a mountain coaster at least once. Automatic breaks if it gets too fast. Grand boys loved it. They also have a summer tubing hill which seems like a good deal at $30pp for all day. Facility was all shiny and new, easy parking and the team members who did the waivers and the coaster were great. Will do it again next time in Williams. read more

We purchased our tickets and the front desk told us to go up the outside stairs. We take our tickets all the way up to the tube run and we are then told to go back down and sign the wavers and get a zip ties. We already gave the workers up the hill our tickets and they already peeled them off the sticker pads. So we go back down the hill and get our zip ties and head back up the hill and the workers say we need your tickets? They didn't have some of our tickets that they peeled off and said they cant let us in without tickets? Keep in mind there was only 40 people here and theres no way they wouldn't remember us just being up there. We paid good money are happy to do so. We just want some direction and clear instructions to to navigate the park. When I went to get our money back because I didn't feel like making my family with little ones walk back up the hill a third time the employees working denied the whole thing. We live here and have family ask about the park all the time. Unfortunately our first visit will be our last. read more

Loads of fun! We were in Williams a couple of years ago when they were still building the place so were excited to try it on this trip. There are only two rides - the coaster and tubing. The coaster is $20 per person per ride and the tubes, $10 per person per ride. Pretty pricey if you ask me. But what the hell - you only live once, right? The coaster is a decent length ride and you can get going pretty fast if you don't use the brake. I went full throttle, no brakes and that coaster whipped me around pretty good - I loved it. The tubes were fun too. While in line, the operating system for the coaster broke down. I'd say it took about 45 minutes for the guys/IT engineers to get the system back up again. I know it's not their fault but I feel like management could have done SOMETHING to appease the crowd. One free ride for everyone waiting; free soft drinks; an announcement apologizing for the delay.....anything. Several people gave up and left the line. As a matter of fact we had purchased four coaster rides and two tube rides between my husband and I but after the delay, we looked at each other and said NOPE, not gonna wait another 45 minutes to ride so we left and approached someone getting in line and offered them our last two coaster tickets for $20 so basically a buy one-get one deal. We also had a couple of drinks at the bar and they had a few drink creations/specials for $10 each so I had a mule which was really nice and made with prickly pear vodka. Unfortunately we ended up ordering some chili cheese fries because the two huge, hot pizzas that came out of the pizza oven while we were in the snack bar area were for staff. If we wanted pizza we'd have to wait 30-40 minutes. Kind of odd. As for those chili cheese fries? They were horrible. Basic fries, mediocre chili and then topped with hot, runny, flavorless artificial cheese goo. We ate a couple of bites and then tossed them. Yes, we had fun but the price is a bit ridiculous for a small, touristy town. We spoke to several locals later in the day and none of them had much good to say about Canyon Coasters. They were upset because of the damage done to the mountain, how many of the Ponderosa pines were dying, as well as the overall pricing. I hope Canyon Coasters can do something to get the support of the community - maybe partnering up with local businesses/hotels and becoming better community citizens. I also hope the community can learn to accept this big company that is bringing some tourist dollars to the town. read more

So much fun! We got there around 1:15pm on Saturday. The line is HUGE and takes about an hour +/- we decided to wait until 3pm for the night sledding just because it was already 2 by the time we got to the front of the line. They told us we couldn't buy tickets until 2:45pm for the 3pm window. So we got the coaster ticket and went upstairs for a beer. At about 2:30pm we went back into the line which took about 45 mins. The coaster and the sledding are absolutely worth the wait time and prices. Dress warm, and come for a fun filled day. Fun for adults and kids! We will be back, if not this season, maybe in the warmer weather for the summer slide. read more

The summer tubing was fun, again it was a quick ride but it was a thrill to do. The parking lot much like the lines fills up quickly so you'll likely need to park somewhere in town & walk over. We'd be more likely to return if the prices were better, but between the prices and it being overcrowded I am unsure if we would return again. read more
