I camped here for the maximum 3 weeks and had a great time! I had just moved to Arizona from San Diego. There's alot of nice hikes nearby which I took advantage of in the gorgeous pine forests. There's about 50 campsites. I only had a tarp and the camphost was nice enough to let me use an extra tent they had(I can't vouch for that being available for other guests). I add a star for excellent service for that. I would walk to Flagstaff downtown several times which is a nice 2 mile walk. Note: The trail to Flagstaff is safe but not well lit at night so have a flashlight. There is also an adventure course right next to the campground which I didn't try but looked great for families with kids and teenagers(number #1 rated in Flagstaff I read). Highly recommended campsite.

Fun place to drive from Phoenix for the day and slide up small hills for little kids. You can rent tubes and slide down larger hills which is better for us adults. Go snow hiking on trails or just walk around and picnic in the snow. Cute place for families to get out and chill

This is a great camp base to use for exploring Flagstaff. We camped here to get away for the hot summer of the Valley of the Sun. We reserved campsite B13. The campsite is on the slope on a hill and very dusty. At first, it was kind of annoying when stuff falls off the table because of the uneven grounds. Of course, we got creative and used rocks to stabilized everything else. The only thing I didn't like is the dust, I felt everyday being there in the campsite covered in dust. But that's how it is when out in nature. Be prepared to bring rugs and tarps to eliminate blowing dust. Also, to keep dogs to lay on them. The positive about the campsite is your away from everyone and have privacy. The area is surrounded by Ponderosa trees at night when it's windy it sounds like the ocean. It's very relaxing and hypnotic.

Great day snowshoeing here. Free parking. Bathrooms. Get there early. Easy access to the park trails as well as the Flagstaff Urban Trail System.

Wife and kids in the snow. Free parking, and lots of space to roll around and play in the snow. Had a great time, here!

We decided to play in the snow for my sons 6th birthday. This place was about a 5 minute drive from our hotel. There are 2 separate parts to this park, a pay to get in part, and a free part where you can just park and go out into the woods to play in the snow. We went with the free option. We found a parking spot, and hiked back into the woods for a bit and found an area away from everyone. It was nice! Kids had a blast! Will definitely come back to this park when we head up to Flagstaff for some fun in the snow!

We visited Fort Tuthill County Park during the 2018 Expo West event, and it was a really nicely held event. The parking could have been handled a little better, but overall our experience here was very pleasant. There were plenty of restrooms for the crowds, we never waited, and the food court area had several food trucks pumping out the tacos. We waited about 10 minutes for our food. Pack sunscreen if you attend an event here, as the shade was minimal. Also, wearing a hydration pack at this elevation would be a plus if you are so equipped. Water consumption is a must for our fellow flatlanders, and it's easy to forget that Flagstaff and it's surrounding areas are hovering around 7,000' in elevation. Wear comfortable shoes and all should be good for any visit to this location.

Came to flagstaff snow park, had a great time. 15$ adults 11$ admission fee, they had 5 hills for snow tubbing. They supply the tubes. They had a big fire to keep warm, and 4 food trucks. Very easy to get to right off the 17. There were lots of people but the lines moved fast. They have a morning time from 9am to 1 pm and an afternoon from 1 to 5pm.

While on a super fast vacation!! We squeezed in a visit to this park and really liked it. Our reason for going was that we have dogs that we travel with and they need to get out and run. Lots and lots of space for this. Now the signs posted say dogs need to be leashed but we broke the rules and let them off for 30 mins or so. They respond to voice commands so we had no issues.. a side from that, there is a mountain bike course a zip line course and looked like an equestrian jumping course.. lots of shade on the trails which is good because that sun is intense. Nice place..

There's plenty of spots for family photos!

I took my kids to Arizona Snow Park for New Years & we had an amazing time! We're from the Phoenix area & have zero snow experience or knowledge. So this was a great way to start. The runs were nicely kept & fun. The staff were kind & for the most part helpful. The food trucks are great, reasonably priced & the hot cider & cocoa came in handy! There are plenty of picnic tables to sit at & lots of open area for photos & building snowmen or having snowball fights. A suggestion I have would be to somehow have the tubes located at the top of the runs. It's very dangerous walking up the lines having to pull the tubes, especially if you have young children. Even with snow boots, you can slip. & some of the walkways/stairs are more dangerous than others. The only negative feedback I have would be the port-a-potty's. I understand this is an outdoors area, but they were just disgusting. You need a hazmat suit to enter. Hence the four stars instead of five. We will be returning in the future.

Once again Fort Tuthill disappoints their patrons by hosting an event with one person taking parking admission at the entrance to the park. It took us a half hour to move 600 feet and we were late for the show. Every year during the fair event the same thing happens. There has to be a better way. Please take this to heart and make this an great event for everyone.

This is one of the best camping places we've been to this winter !! tons of hills to go down the tube run was close due to not enough snow on the ground but the kids still had plenty to do with the snow that fell the night before . The cabins are well maintained clean and the prices are reasonable plenty of things to do here besides tubing they have rafting ,Jeep tours,Grand Canyon tours it's legit !! Must be military , active duty or disabled .

The main attraction really is the mansion so just buy a $18 pass which gives you access to the mansion tour as well as the outside grounds (which is what the $5 pass gives you access to). As for as museum goes, the subject material isn't that interesting: it's about a random wealthy family. Imagine a 100 years into the future we have a museum about a random millionaire. Our tour guide, Marco, was fantastic and great at answering questions for our little group of 4. The mansion really is just a showcase of how a wealthy person's home from the early 1900's. You get a glimpse into their business and personal lives as well as the type of furniture employed in the household. The tour was interactive and nice. The self guided tour is just literally walking around the mansion so there isn't too much to see but it makes for a nice, short walk. Overall, I think that there are more interesting museums out there. But if you're looking for a super quiet museum to browse, this would be the place.
