Quick little excursion during our trip down Route 66! Highly recommend stopping by and doing some zip lining. It's basically a 2 seater that you are strapped into that takes off backwards taking you very high above the town. You are then left sitting there for a few minutes then BAM! You're let go and head down the line fast! Reasonable prices and friendly staff. You pay at the ramp before getting on the ride. We paid for 3 riders along with the extra $6 for my daughter to go again. She ride twice so that myself and hubs could experience this ride. read more

Once again they have disappointed me by not being open but the sign said open. This is my second visit to ride this zip line and of course no one was working.. their hours said open today but nope. A little pricey for what you get. It's not the typical zip-line experience I believe most people would identify with. Instead of zipping though the canopy of trees, this is a simple tighten your seatbelt and "zip" to the top of an approximate 100 foot pole, stop and dangle for about 20-25 seconds with a view of the city of Williams for about 20 seconds before zipping back to your starting point and an abrupt stop. If you have never done zip lining before, this is not a good introduction. However, if you just want a simple feeling of zip lining with a view of the town and a very quick photo opt, this might be for you. read more

I wish I could give this even a one star but it does not deserve that. We are a family of three that came from Phoenix Arizona. We spent some time in Williams and then wanted to take our young nephew on the zip line. We walked up to the booth where some guy had a plate of sloppy Joe on the counter where he didn't even bother to hide it while we are talking over it. He was gaming and said he was on lunch break and to come back later. Come back later? Why isn't the window closed instead? If that wasn't all bad enough, the booth smelled like weed. I would not trust our lives in his hands while he was high. Terrible employee. He is bad for business. We left. Zero stars. read more

Williams is a cute nostalgic town. The zip line is a cool addition to the experience. Single rider is $15 and dual is $24. Once you pay. You get strapped in and off you go backwards to the top. At the top you can a nice View of the city and surrounding area and then you come zipping back down to your starting point. The whole "ride" is less than a minute. So for people who thinks this is some extreme zip line, it's not. It's a cute little ride. My only recommendation is during covid time to perhaps do a quick wipe down of the handles on the seats after each rider. And have a hand sanitizer station when you are leaving the ride. But all in all. It's a cute little experience, not bank breaking and worth doing at least once. read more

Soooooo much fun! This is definitely a must if you are in William's. We saw it and it looked so simple (short ride) that we didn't even think of going on it. But on the last day we were there our boys convinced us... and let me tell you it was the most fun we had during our vacations. It is such a short zipline but that adrenaline rush is big. It is a little pricey for what it looks like but, once you ride it...it is definitely worth it!. You will want to ride it again. Not only that but the tech was so nice, he let our boys stand with him while my husband and I rode the zipline together. It was great! read more

It's ok. Probably wouldn't spend the money to do it again, though. If you're expecting a "traditional" zipline where you are hanging by a harness, this is not it. Kids had fun, though. The set up here is side-by-side seats hung from a cable. You go up backwards and come down forwards. A little pricey for what you get. They have "family" discounts if you pay for multiple kids - and adult gets to go for "free." Weeeee. Parallels the old route 66/main st of town. Awesome attraction to see when driving into Williams Arizona. I love the 57 Chevy car above the seats. Great location so once you're done you can go visit the other sites around town. I was able to do this with my dad we both had a blast. We did the 2 trip special. The views are gorgeous and it's just fun!!! They only take debit or credit card which is convenient. The staff was very nice and made sure we were buckled In correctly. With this being my first time in Williams and seeing the Grand Canyon I would recommend trying this place out. It makes you feel happy. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. read more

30mph small zip line. About a minute long. Backwards first then forward. I'm glad we stopped by and went. The young guy running the little stand was very nice and answered all our questions on 5/12/21. Would recommend to do it at least once. You get beautiful views from the top. read more

Wish we could've tried it. Went two separate times: Sunday at 7pm and Monday at 10am. Both times when the website says it's open. Both times the open flag was hanging. But both times there was no attendant to be found anywhere. We hung around seeing if anyone would show up and even called the number on their website but just got a recorded line. No zip line for us. My wife and I spent our twin's 14th birthday up in Williams. We saw the Zipline was up and running so we decided we would give it a go. They have on their board, pay for 3 and get mama's ride free. So my twins and my youngest were going to ride and might as well get "mama" up there too. My oldest and I decided we also will do it. So after waiting about 45 minutes ( there was a sign that he was on a bathroom break) he had us come up to pay. He asked how many? My wife said, well here's 3 and your sign says mama gets her ride free so I'll do it! Then she says, my husband and oldest will also ride together. The kid running the ride says, so how many total? She says, well the twins are two, my youngest and I are two then there's my husband and oldest, that's two! So six total. He says, you can't do that. My wife says, well your sign says buy 3, get mama free... he replies, you can't do that! That's "finessing" the amount of people in the party. She replies, well I'm still paying for the 3 and I even added another two but normal price of course. He replied, no you can't do that. So we paid for all double riders, six total and mama is not free. I stood back and was really taking in the way he handled the situation. I questioned why we don't get that promo that is advertised everywhere and he again said we are "finessing" the system. We added two more riders, which means more income for them... it's not about the money, it's about the way he treated us over it. The false advertisement. Had no reasoning as to why we couldn't except that we are just trying to "finesse". Which is absolutely not true. The way he spoke to us was uncalled for. Talking to us like we can't count. There's nothing on the sign that says we can't add to our party for that promo. We simply were just adding mama since that's what was advertised. She wasn't going to do it until we even saw that. So we dropped it, paid the price and he boarded our twins. After their ride, he said due to wind, we have to shut down and give you a refund for everyone else. Which fine! There was a little wind. All good. It just is bugging me the way the whole transaction went. The way my wife was spoken to. His responses were rude and if that was my business, I wouldn't have him handling customers. This Zipline is scarier backwards than forwards but is quite a thrill. We paid 39 something for four because Moms ride free on that special. My daughter is 5 and son is 8. They both loved it. My son was more scared than my daughter. They guy running it is super nice and it goes pretty high. It is a pretty view and in the middle of the cute little town. We went to take pictures around while we were staying at the Quality Inn, on the way to the Grand Canyon. read more

Climb a staircase to a tall platform above Historic route 66 in Williams, Arizona, and you just might fly for a bit. This was an unintended pleasure - we left for the Canyon from Flag and stopped for breakfast in Williams. I'm drinking my big mug of coffee and stabbing some eggs on my fork and two people go whizzing past the window. I hopped onto Yelp and, sure enough, there's the Route 66 zipline, just starting its operation for the day. I wasn't expecting my mom to agree so readily and you'll see on their signs that might be a common problem. The attendant(s) will take your picture if you like (there's a tip jar zip tied to the fence we used for that) and they'll buckle you in and send you up. The ride is cheaper if you have two or four people. There are two seats on the line and only two go at once. Still, the wait wasn't bad. The posted info claims you go 35 mph. You zoom backwards first and then sail over the road before braking at the start. Hot rod sound effects throughout. Why NOT? read more

Great zip line over the town. We had a groupon and then the company offers your 2nd ride (same day) for half price. DEAL! It is short and fun. A bargain for sure. Williams is a fun little town with Wild West shows, wonderfully preserved old buildings, great little shops and friendly people. We will be back! read more

We bought 5 rides, 1 kid chickened out. Brenden said he'd refund the $12 for the chicken. 3 people wanted to reride, which is half price. The $12 would pay for 2 of the rerides and we'd have to pay $6 for the 3rd reride, right? It's third grade math. Brenden said no, the $12 pays for one reride and we'd have to pay for 2 more, and he was a complete a-hole about it. Several families in line left because he was being such a jerk about it. Brenden finally called his manager who said to refund the $12. Brenden refunded the $12 and then banned us from the ride and left a parting comment of "there are other things I can do with your credit card". It's a little pricey for how fast it is over, but it is DEFINITELY worth doing!! My five year old squealed with joy!! The first time was a little scary, especially when you are zooming to the finish line and you are running out of zip line! You stop super fast! The second time was more fun as we were a little more relaxed! It's so unique! You sit under a "car" and you hear the engine rev up prior to take off and you listen to tunes while riding. When you stop so quickly, you hear the brakes screech!! The ride is half price after your first ride (as of today's date) for the same day. DO IT!! You get great views! 5 Star all the way baby!!! The guys at Zipline were helpful, polite, safe, and totally went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience we could possibly have. It was a cold November night and everyone was bundled up tight in their coats, scarves, and gloves. The town was already wearing it's holiday lights. As we wizzed through the night sky we flew over the beauty that is Williams. This is one of those must do things. It's not Six Flags so you won't die from fear. But you will have some big fun and probably want to do it over and over. Who knows, maybe they'll give you a freebie after your first 10 rides. I've been to a few of these before and every time I hope for a better experience. Needless to say I get disappointed every time. Let's talk ride. The ride is safe and secure. It takes you backwards first at about 30mph but feels like 10 mph then after you get to the top you go forward at roughly 30 mph. This time it feels fast. The ride total lasts 3 minutes and is not worth the $12 a person. But if your into this kind of thing it is good. I personally will not be going on another zip line unless I am free hanging. read more

In reading the reviews, one comment was it should be Rip off line", and I agree. I purchased our tickets online, and when we arrived there was a hand written sign stating the ride was down due to maintenance, this was after we had confirmed our schedule that morning. DO NOT waste your time or money, the wording is deceiving as it states Grand Canyon Route 66 Zipline. What it turns out to be a 3 minute ride over a parking lot, with NO view of the Grand Canyon. Super fun!!! This was our second thing on our list, first was to eat! My boys had a blast! We bought the Family pack...buy 3 rides, Mom or Dad rides for free. And then added an additional ride. So awesome! It was cold this past weekend. It actually ended up snowing sat night. But Friday evening when we went, it was still clear out and the view was amazing from the top. Yes it's quick, but the experience gets your adrenaline going for sure. My boys had 3 rides each, 2 with each other, and one each with me. Dad didn't bring his jacket! The attendants were helpful and quick to get us up in the air! Thanks for a special memory. Side note: we went back sat evening to ride it again. And they were closed due to the wind. I appreciate them using caution. I truly believe safety is their #1 priority. read more
