We truly enjoyed our visit here. This place is a short drive to all of Williams and as a result it is very quiet. From the gas grill to the beautiful deck and included fire pit they have everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We will be back!

Nice RV but refuses refund.

Booked here because the description on Booking.Com said they were "pet friendly". After I checked in, I learned they had a "no cats" policy. I checked out the next morning by 10am requesting a refund. I was told by the front desk they have a no refunds policy. Requested manager call me and left number, no call. All attempts to contact property about refund have been ignored. This property is $$$ and they misrepresented their pet policy. Zero stars. Would not recommend ever. Edit: property was contacted by Booking.com and they refused to give me a refund. I have contacted the property and they will not return calls or respond to messages.

Dirty pots and pans.

Well it kills me to leave two star. My sister and I have stayed here 4 times now in the last 4 yrs. Overall with our dogs in the past it was about a 3 1/2 -4 Star. This time it is just myself , sister and my granddaughter. The problem with some broken utensils and slightly dirty pots and pans has not changed. ( I just bring my own) The big issues this time are the smells from the septic! It is very overwhelming and bad. Even between the units the smell is bad. And I can't leave the windows open because of the heat. The front office lady rolled her eyes, When I went back for more spray. They just said to run the water for a minute in the toilet. ( two front office ladies also argued about assigning some other folks in the wrong unit in front of us. The older lady scolded another women on there dated marker pen boards on unit being used. ‍ Overall in the past it was fine to overlook stuff ( it's camping in an RV) we actually have stayed in numerous cabins and RV's in the area so I have a lot of comparisons. The carpet needs to be cleaned in bedrooms , my granddaughter spilled some water and wow what a difference even water makes, after I cleaned it up. The couch in the main room has lost all its fluff, sitting down is not fun, we got the pillows from the bedrooms and sat on them. Anyways Williams and flagstaff have several campgrounds that we will using in the future.

Very clean and pretty spacious! It helps that it's also dog friendly and there's a small off leash park in the corner of the campground. Bowls, treats, and doggy bags are provided when you check in. The RV is conveniently located right by gas stations and few fast food spots. There's a Safeway if you want to grill your own food! Propane grill, lounge chairs, and picnic tables are right outside the RV. Inside, it's like a little hotel with all the amenities and more. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, kitchen utensils, air conditioner and WiFi! The WiFi is a little slow, so be patient if you're trying to connect. This place is about 3 hours from the west rim (skywalk) and about an hour drive to south rim and an hour to Sedona. Great place for glamping if that's what you choose to do for your Grand Canyon road trip!

Hair in the bed

Glamping is the wrong term. Overpriced rooms that have seen better days, not cleaned adequately (stained bedding and couch) and located directly on a busy road. The pictures on the website that give you the impression that the site is located in the forest are misleading. The worst thing is the ignorance in the event of a complaint; probably part of the company philosophy!

Wonderful lodging if you're headed to the Grand Canyon.

This RV Park has spaces for rent, but they also have a few lux RVs that you can rent like a AirBNB. They certainly did a great job on those. We were in town mainly for the Polar Express and our unit was clean and had everything we needed for three nights with our two little kids (1.5 and 3 years old). We stayed in a unit that had a loft, and the kids loved it up there. The staff was very accommodating and sent us an email each day to see if we needed anything. There's a Safeway market in town for grocery store and firewood needs, and we had a full kitchen so we ate a few meals at the RV to save money and make things easy. We also were able to make lunches to take to the Grand Canyon on Wednesday and Bearizona on Thursday, so that was fun for the kids to eat lunch at those places and easy for us as parents, too. I think you should note that the park is across from a truck fuel stop, so there's a significant amount of traffic, HOWEVER when we drove down Rte 66 and saw the motels/hotels available and all the loud traffic and roaring motorcycles in town, we were very happy with this "Glamping experience." In comparison, we got more space than a hotel/motel room (inside and outside), nice owners and staff, a great location in proximity to the train station and the classic little town of Williams, and the truck stop never woke us up or made enough noise to really bother us. My husband and I burned fires in the fire pit each night outside the RV and sat near the fire, talking quietly after we put the kids down, and you can't do that at a motel. If you have little kids like we do, there's a fun playground right in the middle of town on 66, if you have some time and want to wear them out. We also would do Bearizona again. The wolves and buffalo, and the raptor show alone are worth the entry fee. And of course the Polar Ex was the kid's favorite and made the trip unforgettable for them.

Good location in Williams 1 h away from Grand Canyon. The facility was clean overall and the outside looks great with grill, picnic table, fire pit and chair. Pet friendly for $20.00 per night. My 9 year old loved his experience playing inside and outside. It was little cold but overall a great day. The staff is responsive and friendly. We initially got an Rv that was not properly cleaned but they moved us to another unit and that was ok. We came in Nov but we might be back in summer.

Our glamping suite for the holiday weekend.

*Free attraction for all active duty military and their families!*…read more Arrived at 5-5:30 on a Thursday and the place had maybe 1 or 2 other families. You walk inside and there's a gift shop with a food stand in the back. They have some fresh produce-- apples, oranges, bananas, and I saw you could ask for tomatoes, peppers, and some other stuff. The coolers were filled with bottled drinks and beer. There were tables to sit at and a small counter to order food. We ordered our dinner -- they mostly had wings, burgers, a couple sides, and ice cream. My husband got buffalo wings (10), mozzarella sticks (10), and the five piece chicken tenders for the kids, plus 2 Gatorades and it was $52. I wasn't super hungry and figured I would pick at whatever was left. My husband said the wings were good! I tasted the sauce and it was flavorful but not overly hot. I did end up eating some of the kids' tenders and they were probably some of the better ones we've had in the area. You can definitely eat outside, so ask for your orders to go! I think the price for adults to enter the park is $10, slightly lower for kids, and, I believe, kids under 3 were free. Like it said though, active duty military and their families get in free. Either way, I would have paid for the experience if we had to. If you even remotely like dinosaurs or the Flinstones, you'll love it here. The park is very nostalgic, see my attached pictures! Lots of photo opportunities for the whole family, a slide, swings, and peddle karts that you can "race" on a track through the volcano. They also have animals-- sheep, goats, an alpaca, various kinds of birds. The animal exhibits made me a little sad, especially the birds. There was animal feed for the goats, sheep, and alpaca and it looked like there was a little stage and seating for shows. We stayed until they closed at 8! I bought my son a shirt and myself a hoodie. If we were in the area again when the kids were older, I'd definitely take them back. It was fun for wll ages!

PSA: Not Pet…read moreFriendly! I This place is not nice for dogs. My dog won't go outside the RV because of these horrible sharp star shaped stickers that are all over the place. I spent an hour cleaning the floor and carpet in my RV because the dogs and my shoes had them stuck in them and I had to pick them out of the carpet one by one and there were hundreds of them. I had to pull these horrible things out of the pads of one of my dogs feet. My shoes had these things stuck in them and I had to pull them out one at a time and now my fingers are sore from getting poked by these things. My crocs are ruined. Not a relaxing place. Glad I only booked one night. I'm out first thing in the morning. I won't stay here again. I don't know how people tent camp at this place. Seriously, these little stickers ruined my night and the next day they are that bad. Find another park to stay in.

"Glamping" without the hospitality is just camping with attitude…read more The biggest miss here was the service. First interaction set the tone right away. Two Caucasian female employees sitting in the office on their phones, no greeting, no eye contact, nothing. When we stepped in to check in, we were met with a blunt "check-in is at 4, come back." I get it, policies are policies. But there's a way to say it without making guests feel like they're inconveniencing you. Came back later after killing time with the family. Same energy. My wife went in this time to keep things smooth, and somehow it got worse. One of the same staff member pointed out there was a customer... then got up and walked away to the restroom. (And yes, same person. The restroom is outside the office, and I literally saw her walk in from my car). That pretty much sums up the service here. Only reason this isn't a 1-star is the one male employee who actually helped us like a normal human being. The RV itself? Decent at best. Noticeable wear and tear, but usable. BBQ grill and small fire pit were nice touches. Windy nights though, and the RV shakes like it's fighting for its life, so don't expect great sleep. Overall, the stay itself was enjoyable because of the family time, not because of the service. Fix the attitude at the front desk, and this place could easily be a much better experience.

That grossed me out especially because my 7 year old and I slept in the same bed with lots of dark hairs that were not ours. Service was great. Fire pit and chairs were provided which were nice. Also, we had a picnic table outside. Location was phenomenal. Close to so many wonderful places including Downtown Williams which is charming and quaint; only a hop, skip, and throw across the street from Bearizona which was awesome; and just a 30-minute drive from stunning Flagstaff. RVs were nice but when there are a bunch of black hairs in sheets, I am completely grossed out. :( If there were no hairs all over our beds, I would have given 4-5 stars but this was a huge turn off and grossed me out!

doesn't recommend Interstate 40 Grand Canyon RV Park & Campground…read more June 18, 2021 · I don't even know where to begin on my review of the Interstate 40 Grand Canyon RV Park & Campground. Web site is nonexistent so don't try to get any information there. This place has a laundry room with six washers and six dryers which is great for a park of this size. At the time of our stay, three washers and one dryer actually work. The laundry area is locked up most of the time unless you can track down the manager to open it. Last load is at noon so they can lock it up by 2PM other than this, there are no standard hours. Similar issue with the pool. Manager reported that it is locked because people who are not staying in the park come and use it. There is also major problems with the electric in the park. as well as the water supply. Did not have water for 8 days with no communication on access to what may have been available. Bathrooms with rust eating away on the shower partitions, No compensation or pro rate for no water for 8 days. One area of about 17 sites are wired for 50 amp service and they are all on one 200 amp service. I'm not an electrician but the math on this does not add up. Our site was supposed to be 110 volt/30 amp service and while the breaker is 30 amp, today there is only about 96 volts. The rules for the place are taped to the walls in and out of the office (every where) or scribbled on white boards in the laundry area. Be warned, they do not provide any refunds of any kind. Even when they don't provide the services you paid for. I am unsure of how they have any accreditation with Good Sam with the current management and condition of the facilities. Will write a note to Good Sam as well. I should have taken a hint from my first impressions and kept on driving. Will NEVER stay here again and would only recommend it to my worst emenies.
