Ok I rlly do like Rang, but theyve been a bit inconsistent lately imo. Their drinks are very delicious and you can really taste the quality, but lately ive noticed that theyve been putting way too much cream topping in their drinks. Each time I've ordered a drink with a cream top, it seems as if the coffee is getting less and less... rang pls fix this!! For context, I had asked my brother to help me order an egg coffee earlier today, and when he came back I genuinely was like wtf is this. There's basically more cream than coffee!!! In the other pic (ordered at a diff date) you can see an ube coffee, and the ratio is a bit better but the drink is still half ube cream. Again I still rlly like Rang, their matcha drinks are solid, but I'll def need to come back again to see if the coffee drinks are fixed. Review to be updated!
Rang's matchas are my current hyperfixation! I genuinely cannot recommend their drinks enough. Definitely check Rang Coffeehouse's IG for their daily menu, as availability for certain drinks can vary. I tried their mango sticky rice matcha latte on my first visit and was HOOKED. Every flavor component shined through without overshadowing others. In other iterations of this drink from locations around the Bay Area, I've found that the mango flavor gets easily lost, which was impressively not the case here! I also love the guava matcha einspanner; having both guava puree and foam really made the flavor pop. Had a few sips of the ube and pandan matchas as well, both of which were super flavorful. The matcha itself is smooth and strong. They hand-whisk their ceremonial grade matcha and their toppings/foams are made in-house, all of which contribute to the high quality of their drinks. Plus, no up-charge for oat milk, which always gets brownie points from me. Ordering through the kiosk was a breeze and we didn't have to wait long for our order. I'd note that some menu items tend to sell out (they were sold out of the guava matcha einspanner by around 5pm the first time I visited) and I tried calling ahead to check availability with no answer, so I'd come earlier in the day just to be sure you can get the drink you want.
Inside of Rose Tea Lounge, I came here on a Sunday around 1:30pm because my friend wanted to try the Rang Coffee Matcha pop up. Usually there's a long line for this, but think I caught it at a good time because I only waited a few people ahead of me. You order from the kiosk and their pop up is Wednesday through Sunday from 8 to 3 PM. I got the Guava Matcha Einspanner ($7). The guava was delicious. I liked the cream on top because it was so creamy and the flower decor was a cute touch. The matcha was really good and you can taste the matcha. This place can get really busy. They have some seating but they leave their door open and the AC unit isn't that strong so it can get really hot inside. I'm excited for their actual store to open up.
FINALLY got to try their pop-up at Rose Tea Lounge in Elk Grove. I've been eyeing posts of their drinks on IG for months. Specifically, I've had my eye on their Cookie Butter Matcha and Earl Grey Matcha. For this visit I decided to go with the Cookie Butter Matcha. I liked the cream they put on top and you can definitely taste the cookie butter flavor as well as the Biscoff cookie crumbles. It was a good balance between the cookie butter flavor and the matcha although I tasted the cookie butter a little more than the matcha. Overall, I LOVED it and excited for their actual Rang Coffee storefront to open soon also in Elk Grove so they can have their own place! The Earl Grey Matcha is definitely the next drink for me to taste next.
Obsessed, one of my favorite go to matcha places. I bring everyone here that is visiting from out of town. Staff is friendly and welcoming, very cute interior/hangout spot. Would definitely always recommend!
Currently a pop-up in Rose Tea Lounge during select hours, but they will soon have their own location. I've tried the following: banana matcha, sesame matcha, earl grey matcha, strawberry matcha, mango matcha. Although it has "coffee" in its name, people generally come here for the good matcha. I've only ever ordered matcha from here, so my rating doesn't factor in their coffee drinks. You shouldn't expect the pre-sweetened/mix; the matcha served here is actually what matcha is supposed to taste like. I've tried several matcha drinks here and have enjoyed them. It's whisked properly so you don't get that gritty texture that some places of lesser quality serve. I've come in the afternoon hours and it's been a full house. You order at the kiosk. It can be a bit of a wait, so be prepared. Also be prepared to hear music blasting, and their system is messed up right now so it's skipping as well...not really the most pleasant atmosphere. [Side Story: Eggstra-Exasperating Easter! The concept was so cute - hunt for golden eggs with vouchers to redeem for gift cards. However, it was so poorly executed. No one working had any idea what was happening! I came first thing on Easter Sunday morning (8am) since it said first come first serve, but the employees had no info and to come back at 10am, so I left. After feeling like the business was falsely advertising, I called and they were able to connect us with the person who created the hunt. So we drove back (before 10am) and participated in the hunt. Most golden eggs had candy, while some had voucher. I was happy to find the gift card vouchers ($10/voucher), but the fun was a bit ruined due to the lack of organization. Really liked the idea behind it, but execution could've for sure been better!]
I've liked everything I've tried so far. My favorites are the Earl Grey Matcha Latte and Hojicha Latte. I feel like they make their drinks a lot faster than Rose :D Self order kiosk.
Parking: Small lot with very limited spots. super busy area with a packed plaza Interior: inside rose tea lounge which has a large space for bigger groups. it usually is very busy which a lot of the seating taken. limited outlets but still a good study spot. Wait Time: 30-45min to order when they had BOGO and 10-20min for the drinks. Items Order: 10/10 Pandan Coconut Cloud $7.5 9/10 Pandan Matcha $7.75 10/10 Ube Matcha $7.75 10/10 Corn Matcha $7.75 7/10 Mango Sticky Rice Matcha $7.75 10/10 Persimmon Matcha $7.5 9/10 Cookie Butter Matcha $7.75 6/10 Matcha Eispanner $7.75 10/10 Ube Coffee $6.5 10/10 Pandan Coffee $6.5 8/10 Black Sesame Hojicha $7.75 Overall RANG is my favorite coffee/matcha combo spot in the bay. Both are very consistent and just overall good with plenty of combinations of flavors. Noteworthy are the pandan, ube, corn, persimmon! The only downside really was the wait for the BOGO and their mango sticky rice matcha and eispanner were very meh.

The prices of these drinks vary but cost up to $9 after tax, which is insane.. I tried the Double Matcha, and the Matcha Einspanner. After tax, it costed $8.97 each. Some other drinks are slightly cheaper. You can choose between oat milk or whole milk without an extra charge. And you can adjust the sweetness too. I always do 25% which is still on the sweeter side for me. I appreciate that they don't add a ton of ice. The matcha itself tastes decent and strong, but I've had fresher and higher quality matcha in other cafes. I liked the Einspanner more than the double matcha because I love whipped cream. The workers here aren't the friendliest. They keep the cafe nice and warm inside and I do enjoy bringing my laptop and doing work here. You get the WiFi password on your drink receipt. Theres plenty of seating but it does get crowded in the afternoon on weekdays. I do want to try some of the other flavors, but I'm hesitant due to the high prices.
Finally tried Rang Coffee since there's been so much hype around it, and as someone who loves matcha, I was really excited to give it a shot. I ended up getting the pandan matcha with whole milk, and unfortunately it just wasn't for me. The flavor leaned pretty artificial, and it was a lot sweeter and thicker than I expected, which threw me off. I was hoping for something more balanced and matcha-forward, but it didn't quite hit. For the price, I wouldn't come back specifically for the matcha. I'd honestly rather grab a boba drink instead, especially since it's located inside Rose Tea Lounge, which makes it easy to go that route. Really wanted to love this one, but it just didn't live up to the hype for me.
I stopped by on Mother's Day on my way to visit some family. The store closed at 3 & I got there around 2:20p-2:25 ish & the line was to the door. A couple minutes later the line was OUT the door. The place can get cramped but I'd suggest having an area where the full menu is displayed cause the amount of time people spent at the order kiosks scrolling through the menu was absurd, although I understood once I seen how many more drinks there were the drink was not as sweet as I thought it was going to be. It could've been a tad bit sweeter to balance the bitterness of the matcha more but I enjoyed nonetheless. I saw more flavors I wanted to try so I'll be back next time I'm in town.
Absolutely blown away by the matcha here. I stopped by on a whim because of the raving reviews and was not disappointed. As soon as you walk up to the counter, you can see the staff measuring out matcha and hojicha into separate bowls--something you don't usually see at other matcha cafes, and a great sign of quality. They offer a great variety of drinks. We grabbed the Biscoff Matcha (25% sweetness) and Persimmon Matcha (50% sweetness). I took a sip of the matcha before mixing, and it was incredibly creamy and smooth with a light grassy flavor and very little astringency. You can immediately tell they use fresh fruit for the persimmon--nothing artificial at all. The Biscoff Matcha was also absolutely delicious, and 25% sweetness was perfect for me. I'm a matcha lover who makes matcha almost daily at home, and I usually don't like spending money on something I can make better myself (especially for $8+). This is the first matcha spot I've tried where I genuinely want to come back and try everything on the menu. Parking: Located in decent sized lot at the Rose Tea Lounge location. Should have no problem finding parking.

great matcha and menu! there's so many options on the menu for matcha flavors and some seasonally rotate. matcha is strong and great flavor pairings. got the mango sticky rice matcha & guava matcha (would get less sweet next time vs full). place is a very nice lounge to hang out in. service was nice. read more

The Guava Matcha Einspanner is top notch! Mango Sticky Rice Matcha is another top order. Strawberry Einspanner Matcha is a hit or miss - there were a few times when the strawberries did not taste fresh. Sweet Potato Matcha Latte did not taste like sweet potato, it tasted more like a regular matcha latte with creme brûlée. Matcha drinks are around $7.75 each, which seems to be the current standard pricing in California. They have two self service kiosks, which only takes card payment. Yay to there being an option for 30% sweetness level. Rang Coffee is currently hosting pop ups inside The Rose Lounge, which has a dark floral aesthetic. There are plenty of seats and tables. However, the music is really loud, so it's not really ideal for working/studying. It was difficult for our group to hear each other over the loud music. Too bad Rang Coffee's Popup is not open daily and has very limited hours. Hopefully, Rang Coffee opens their own location soon and has daily operating hours. read more

The hype is real! At the rose tea lounge location, it's rang coffee a few days out of the week. Socials were going crazy about Rang coffee and we finally were able to catch them when they were open. The line was all the way to the door when we entered. Quick to order, it's via kiosk. Although the staff isn't too far away if you have any questions. We ordered a few flavored matchas like their mango sticky rice, biscoff, banana, ube and pandan. I think out of all my favorite is their banana flavor. I love it when places are able to capture the real banana flavor. The other flavors were good too. read more

Rang has become my guilty work from home days obsession. I think I've tried every matcha on the menu and haven't had a bad one. My only complaint is that the music is so "tea" I have a hard time focusing on my work read more
Rang Coffee gets 5 stars for the drinks alone - especially the ube coffee, which is honestly next-level. It's decadent, creamy, and ridiculously smooth... more like a coffee milkshake than a typical coffee. If you're an ube fan, this is a must-order. The matcha is also excellent, and both the coffee and matcha easily beat Lac and Phin. That said, the inside is pretty grimy. Stained couches, dirty walls, and furniture that clearly needs a deep clean. read more
Definitely worth the wait! Upon entering there was already a long line, however, it moved really fast. When we got to the screen to order, we were greeted with smiles, recommendations, and updates with what they had left. Unfortunately, on this visit they were out of the sea salt and egg foam I wanted to try. The workers were very kind, attentive, and worked very efficiently! We waited in line longer than we waited for our drinks. Drinks were sooo delicious, the quality of all the ingredients make it that much better. Their Earl Grey Syrup is so concentrated, sweet, and strong. Overpowering the matcha flavor, but my favorite of the three! If you're a fan of Earl Grey it is a MUST TRY!!! The Vietnamese coffee is very strong, the Pandan foam is super sweet. Separately I enjoy the flavors, but was not really a fan of them mixed together. Overall too sweet for my liking. The Matcha Latte with Oatmilk had a good matcha flavor, but the Oatmilk made it taste watered down- I will and suggest to get it with whole milk for the creamy flavor of a latte next time. Love their BIG ice cubes, keeps the drink nice and cold and takes longer to melt so your drink doesn't get watered down fast. Lots of indoor seating available, the menus are displayed with pictures of all their drinks. I would suggest going early in the day for a variety of options as they tend to sell out of their popular flavors quickly. Very refreshing to see a store whisk their matcha to order rather than a batch make or use a concentrate. The ambiance is nice, natural lighting, marble tables, plants, and neon lights to decorate. read more
I went with my sister and my husband to Rang last week over the Christmas holiday weekend and we were so excited to try out the pop-up menu. We were pleasantly surprised and lucked out to find that there was no line when we arrived. My sister got the double matcha, I ordered the pandan matcha, and my husband got the hojicha latte. There were a few other orders being made for other customers and pick up orders, but it didn't take long for ours to be called. The matcha drinks were the prettiest greens and my husband's was a rich brown. We all really enjoyed our drinks and I'd definitely go back (and probably order the pandan matcha again)! My family and I joke that the interior of Rang/Rose Tea is "the boba place that looks like a club" lol but it's comfortable and has lots of seating inside to hang out and wait for your order. read more
I've been hearing nonstop great things about Rang Coffee so had to check it out. They're located inside Rose Tea Lounge and open from Wednesday to Sunday from 8am-3pm. I came here on a Saturday around 1230pm and there was 3 people in front of me. Been told that the line does reach outside a lot of times so happy to have missed the rush. The menu has so many great options but I ended up choosing the Pandan Coconut Matcha. It was about an 8 minute wait before my drink was ready so not that long at all. My first sip into it and it was great! Tasted the Pandan and Matcha combination. Not so much on the coconut but still a refreshing drink. It does live up to the hype everyone talks about. I regret not getting a second drink to try but that just means I have to return again. Thank you so much Rang Coffee! read more
Inside Rose Tea Lounge for now, they are a pop up store selling coffee and matcha drinks. I tried their ube coffee and it was pretty good. It had the right amount of caffeine and ube flavor. Kinda expensive for a small cup but it is what it is. They will be opening a storefront of their own soon and I can't wait to try other stuff. read more
I saw Rang matcha all over my social and I just had to try it! I got so excited and ordered 3 drinks. Pandan and ube did not disappoint, I ordered the strawberry matcha for my husband and he devoured it. There was quite a long line to Order but it went by fairly quickly same for waiting for our drinks. The matcha was hand whisked right in front of us. read more
Rang coffee offers more than just coffee, they offer matcha too! Rang Coffee is only offered during certain hours because two businesses are being operated in the same place. Rang in the mornings to afternoon , and Rose Tea Lounge afterwards. At first, I had thought Rose Tea Lounge has closed down, but im so glad I was wrong! Ok, so I ordered their matcha and was not disappointed! They offer other flavors of matcha like banana and matcha, but I always order a simple matcha when trying someplace new. The matcha was perfect in sweetness and taste. It was also very smooth! My only complaint was that their lids are very sharp around the edges, and it did cut me! but other than that, the entire experience was great! Looking for some good matcha? Come here! read more
I've been here three times so far and have not been disappointed yet! They're located inside of Rose Tea Lounge, which is such a smart use of space in the morning while Rose Tea Lounge is closed. They do overlap hours so if you want drinks from both menus, you could potentially make one stop mid day! Even though they're called Rang Coffee, I find it funny they have majority matcha drinks, but I love matcha so I'm not complaining at all. The corn matcha was my first taste of Rang, not too sweet and it's not a common flavor to find everywhere! My all time favorite is the mango sticky rice matcha. I love that you can adjust sweetness. The mango was so flavorful! And I liked the coconut cream and sesame seeds on top to mimic the real mango sticky rice dessert. Banana matcha has been popping up everywhere but this is a pretty great version! Love the banana cream on top and it's not too thick so it mixes well with the matcha! The ube coffee is on the sweeter side, and can be found at other Vietnamese coffee shops anyway, so I'd focus on getting their matcha drinks here, since they're all made to order and whisked right in front of you. However if you do have to get coffee, the egg coffee is a must! One of the best egg creams I've had, so custard-like! If I had to request one thing it would be to open online ordering! I only come on weekdays because I fear the long lines I see in videos, but if there was an ability to order ahead I might be more enticed to come more often. read more

Located inside rose tea lounge but only at certain days and hours so far (currently wed to sun 8 to 3 etc ) but I heard they're opening up a store soon or maybe its permanently staying at the location? Strong matcha from Japan and lots of great Asian flavor combinations Tried a bunch of flavors with friends and different occasions. We liked Mango or mango sticky rice matcha Banana matcha Pandan coffee, Pandan matcha Earl grey matcha Persimmon matcha Double/ triple matcha You can pick whole milk or recommended oat milk Can change sweetness Some drinks allow you to omit certain ingredients such as coconut flakes or sesame seeds etc Best to come before noon less busy and of course weekdays faster than on a weekend l. Parking lot is small and there are adjacent lots you can go too but the busy drive though lines at raising cane nearby can be a nuisance etc It doesn't take too long for them to make the order but sometimes the line to get to the ordering pad is long Tables and chairs and WiFi inside. Quieter in morning as I see people work on their laptops but weekend it's obviously louder with big groups sitting around Wish they would allow online orders so I can pick up or that they would allow delivery on door dash like they do for rose tea lounge read more

Rang Coffee is a delicious drink spot, currently through a pop-up shop at specific locations (detailed on their social media) The drinks were so unique and v asian inspired which I absolutely loved. The Pandan coconut matcha was delicious, I loved that you could actually taste the very strong Pandan flavor. Overall, the drinks were all very creamy! I appreciate that they also hand whisked the matcha, I think that truly goes a long way in taste and quality. I got 75% sweetness which I think was the perfect level as they were still decently sweetened. Definitely would come back for the unique and delicious matchas! Hochija was also a hit. The pop-up I went to was located inside rose tea lounge where the ambiance was v fun and modern. Everyone was so sweet and helpful! read more

Rang Cafe is a pop up located inside Rose Tea Lounge in Elk Grove. It offers ceremonial grade matcha drinks along with Vietnamese coffee drinks. Don't let the long line frustrate you. It moves quicker than expected. And believe me, it's well worth the wait!!! You won't be disappointed. My daughter ordered the Banana Matcha. She said it is ranks #1 out of all banana matchas she's ever had. I asked them to create a Banana Coffee for me and it was amazing! Hopefully they'll put it in the permanent menu! We are already trying to figure out when we can make the drive back to Elk Grove again!!! read more

Rang Coffee is tucked inside Rose Tea Lounge and, as of November 2025, is open Thursday through Sunday from 8am to 3pm--so you'll want to plan your visit accordingly. I kept seeing this spot pop up all over social media, so of course I had to see what the hype was about. The line was pretty much what you'd expect from Rose Tea: nothing crazy, nothing too long--just your typical wait. I tried the persimmon matcha, mango sticky rice matcha, and ube latte. All three were great--balanced, not overly sweet, and you could tell they actually put care into the drinks instead of just relying on sugary syrups. The persimmon matcha ended up being my favorite, but honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. I'd definitely come back and try everything. read more

Rang Coffee is located inside of Rose Tea Lounge. I found out about Rang from a friend and I had to check this place out since I've been on a matcha quest this year. This is my latest go to spot and I've been coming here weekly since finding this pop up. I love a majority of their drinks, just not the super sweet ones. My usual go to drinks are the earl grey matcha, strawberry matcha, and mango matcha. I did enjoy the seasonal sesame matcha drink but it felt like it was a meal in a drink because of its heaviness. I love the decor and layout of the place but the music is way too loud to be a workspace (at least during the Rang pop up days Thursday-Sunday). Pros: the staff here are super friendly and willing to answer your questions. One time, I spilled my drinks all over my car right after I left. I went back so I could repurchase them again. The staff were so nice I'm remaking the drinks for me again and cleaned up my mess. Their food is pretty decent. I've had their popcorn chicken and fries. Cons: parking can be hard to find. It's located near a Kanes and In n Out so this plaza gets so busy. The wait can be long for your drinks and you aren't able to order ahead. But the last time I went they had two tablets to take orders instead of one. Best time is to go early (before 10 AM). read more

Highly recommend the triple matcha, love the matcha jelly at the end. 100% is not too sweet. Also tried the mango, the puree makes me wish there were fresh mango chunks in it. read more
I'm finally able to stop in at Rang Coffee after hearing so much about them on social media & word of mouth. They are a new pop-up sister company to Rose Tea Lounge and you guessed right, they are popping up inside Rose Tea in the morning before the place opens up. Normally, I'd say come early or you'll be forced to stand in a long line, but I came today on a Sunday at 8:30 am and there was no line. Seems like the hype & hoopla surrounding Rang Coffee has simmered down a bit. For a coffee place, they seem to have way more matcha creations than coffee. I didn't order coffee because it is Vietnamese coffee and I'm in the minority of disliking Viet coffee. I came here for their matcha. My order was the mango sticky rice matcha with oat milk and 50% sweet. You order via kiosk and at the time, it was only 1 kiosk likely designated for Rang Coffee customers. They do have a disclaimer in that all matcha is hand whisked and could be subject to longer wait times. That is a thoughtful disclaimer and very courteous. My wait time wasn't that long and probably due to the fact that it was in the morning and it wasn't that busy yet. The drink was pretty and very colorful. The mango puree sits at the bottom and there was this cold foam or crema on top that tasted like mango. It was sprinkled with sesame seeds. The drink was quite sweet and if I were to get this again, I'd do 0% sweet. The puree and foam are already sweet therefore, added sweetness isn't needed. Where was the sticky rice? Was there supposed to be any? If there was, it wasn't in mine which was a bummer. Also, I didn't really or rather, couldn't taste the matcha. All the other things in my drink overpowered the matcha so I think it was there in "green spirit" . It is a fun sweet drink but not something I'd go clamoring for upon my next visit. I'm willing to come back to try their other creations, maybe with less other "stuff" and get myself a real true matcha latte. I'm also wondering if Rang Coffee would consider batched matcha in order to speed up the line for their matcha orders. It's just a thought and seems successful at other places too. Also, the batched matcha doesn't oxidize much and still retains the flavor. Overall this place is not bad but my drink was too sweet and there was no sticky rice or any rice pieces. Will have to come back to try something different. At this rate, I think Rang Coffee should add " + Matcha" to their namesake. read more
They're a pop up inside of Rose Tea Lounge! Th-Sunday 8-3 pm. Catch me here every Thursday because their Mango Sticky Rice Matcha got me in a chokehold!! It's so good. I get it w whole milk at 75% sweetness level. The cream top balances so well w matcha and fresh mango puree. I've also tried their other ones but mango sticky rice is definitely my favorite one. Pandan is also another solid choice. The order itself comes out pretty fast, the line is a bit longer due to only one self serve kiosk and sometimes people take longer to order. The workers are super friendly and helpful too! Highly recommend coming Th/Friday before noon to beat the crowd. read more

Matcha is so good here! I tried a mango sticky rice matcha & it was 10/10! I would say do 50% sweetness since it was super sweet when I tried 75%! Strawberry matcha was a 10/10 as well but again super sweet! & the guava matcha was an 8/10! Not my favorite- it was all very good though & fresh! I would definitely come again! Service is a self serve kiosk , so not really a customer experience but I would say the kiosk is very up to date & I love how it shows a description of each drink! The places ambiance is very cutesy & aesthetically pleasing! It even has a little set up to take pictures! read more
The matcha was all made to order, hand whisked in front of the customers, and staff were super friendly and helped guide us through their menu. The flavors are so unique and so delicious! You would think that corn flavored matcha was disgusting, but TRUST it's so good; reminded me of che bap dessert. Their other flavors such as the einspanner, ube, pandan, and their most recent addition: mango sticky rice, have all been such a hit for me. My favorites are definitely the corn matcha and mango sticky rice matcha. I hope that they can open up their own cafe soon, I would definitely frequent there often. read more
