first of all this restaurant is a little hit in Frisco on Main Street. This restaurant has been here 33 years. The appears to be a home on the outside but inside is really a nice large restaurant and this restaurant has a rich history. The food was delicious. The owner came by and checked on us regularly with the ambience being unique as well. The steaks what can I say delicious tender and cooked at the right temperature with a choice of various sides. The butter looks like open boiled eggs, but actually it is a combination of Parmesan and garlic and it is really, really delicious and you are served with a nice hot large warm bread. The service was friendly and attentive. Definitely want our places will be going to on a regular.

HUGE loaded Baked Potato

Wow We drove from Fort Worth to support an iconic steakhouse. After reading stories about their loss of customers, due to the City of Frisco dragging their feet on road construction. I ate here 20 years ago when I lived closer and remembered what a great experience it was. So we drive an hour to try again. Well, spoiler alert ‼ It was even better than I remembered. What a beautiful restaurant in a historical home. Getting past the construction on Main Street was a pain but well worth it. The girls inside greeted and sat us right away. Our server was Nicole and she was a superstar! We started with some wine and a recommendation for the bleu cheese wedge salad. We loved that salad and split it because it was huge. I chose the 16oz ribeye and my wife picked the bleu cheese filet. We decided to split sides and chose a loaded baked potato, mushrooms for the steaks and the Osage spinach dish. OMG thr steaks were soooo good. Well cooked and packed full of savory flavors. Loved the spinach Osage and thr baked potato was perfect. We had so much food left over that there was a full meal of leftovers going honestly. One of the highlights was speaking to Randy who still cones out and talks to each table. This man cares about his employees and customers. It shows because he's still successful after 30+ years at the same location. We will be back.....

Onion rings - we'd eaten a few

Overall, good dinner except for a few service things. The good - We wanted to try Randy's because we're about to move and we'd never been before. We made reservations for 6:00pm and arrived at that time. Traffic is crazy around there now so give yourself time to park. We were seated shortly after arriving which was great as it seemed to be a busy night. Inside is really cool. Love the old charm and house feel. The not so good - it was about 10 minutes before a server came to our table to acknowledge us. Two servers arrived at the same time and one of them took our table - OK. We placed our drink orders and looked over the menu. Drinks were dropped off. A good while later, server came back and we have appetizer order. We should have placed food order at that time as well because it was about 15-20 min before he came back to take our food order (6:45pm at this point). Onion ring appetizer arrives and they're very good - huge portion as we didn't even finish them all but we will at home, lol. We ordered Pork Chops, Parmesan Crusted Tilapia, Salmon, and Kids cheeseburger. We had the sautéed spinach and liyonnaise potatoes that hubby wanted to try. Everyone enjoyed their food and had leftovers. We'll gladly eat them today. Overall, decent experience besides the amount of time it took.

Went to Randy's Steakhouse for the first time and it was great! My mom is a local and we have been wanting to support this restaurant for quite some time. Flash forward to her birthday and here we are! Perfect location in downtown Frisco and a historical site, which makes it that much more interesting. Cute, family photos adorn the walls and you can tell this place has been a staple of the city for quite some time. I had the blackberry 8 oz filet and it was cooked perfectly. My husband had a ribeye and couldn't stop saying how good it was. Between the two of us, we also shared a Cesar salad, which had a nice kick of jalapeño; and the stuffed jalapeños quick were awesome. Service was top notch and Randy even came by to see how our meal was. Upon leaving, they even gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary at home. We will definitely be back! Please paint me a visit and tell them I sent you

1st time trying , will not be our last. Food was amazing the steaks were cooked to perfection, I didn't have to send back. Ambiance was romantic and relaxed. The historic building and the quirkiness of it was cool. The service was good Isaac took care of our orders for the night. The price is very reasonable for the atmosphere.

Scallops and some of the very large baked potato.

Walked in and we were sat immediately by the friendly host stand. We were immediately greeted by Miss,Cynthia and she gave us great service. Very prompt and friendly. Steak was cooked just the way I liked it and the scallops were perfect and the baked potato was great as well. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Growing up here in Frisco, and being a local now, I had been wanting to visit Randy's and had the privilege last night. We had dinner here to celebrate the New Year and had a wonderful experience. The hostess and waitress were both very nice and welcoming. We were sat in one of the larger rooms towards the back, which was great at least while it was empty. Throughout the evening it filled up and became pretty loud. I'm not sure if it was the acoustics or other diners, but we found it difficult to hear each other at certain times. I recommend asking to be seated in one of the quieter, smaller rooms if this is a concern for you. That is our plan for next time. In regards to our dining experience itself, it began with the bread. This bread was one of my favorite appetizer breads I have ever had! It is extremely fluffy, sweet and paired beautifully with garlic butter on the side. We loved it! After the bread, we split Randy's Caesar Salad. We both enjoyed it, it was a classic take on a typical caesar salad and was topped with tasty croutons discs. For our appetizers, we ordered the Panko Crusted Brie and the catch of the day, the Coconut Shrimp. The brie was presented along with thick toasts, garlic cloves, meant to be spread as a paste on the toasts, red grapes and the panko crusted brie itself. I am a huge fan of brie and I thought this one was good! The garlic and grapes made it a great appetizer overall. The coconut shrimp was also pretty good and is actually on the menu all the time, which was great to know! For our entrees, we ordered the Bone-In Rib Eye Steak and Rib Eye Steak, both medium rare. The presentation of the bone was amazing and both steaks were equally as delicious. They were a little more rare than I would have liked but I had cut into it too much to be sent back. I still throughly enjoyed the flavor, texture and experience of both. We also ordered the Béarnaise and Bordelaise Sauces to go with our steaks. I loved the Béarnaise Sauce and it compares nicely compared to other béarnaise I have had around restaurants in the area. The bordelaise was not my particular favorite, but if you are a red wine fan, I think you will love it. For our side, we only ordered the Garlic Mashed Potatoes. These were another of my favorite parts of the meal. They were creamy, whipped and absolutely delicious! Also, to note, the sides are large and meant to be shared between a couple of people. It split perfectly between us two. Lastly, for dessert, we ordered the Key Lime Pie and Randy's Famous Bread Pudding. The bread pudding was so good! It came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top and green apples to the side. It was definitely our favorite of the two desserts. The pie was okay, it was not as strong in lime flavor as we expected. It was still good but seemed more like a plain cheesecake with lime syrup on top. Ultimately, we had a great night here at Randy's. We were so happy to finally visit and next time will request a quieter room and try a couple of the other dishes too. The highlight of our night was getting to meet Randy himself! He came through during our dinner to greet the guests and it was so great to get to meet the man himself! Thank you for a great night and experience!

Great steakhouse in old Downtown Frisco. Original home built in 1800's updated to accommodate 75+ for dinner or private rooms for small gatherings. Nice menu for steaks, limited seafood options. Decent drinks and wine cellar. Hector was excellent server.

Always a 5 star experience. Best steakhouse in DFW. Great food. Great ambiance. Randy is a rock star. See you guys soon!!!

Chocolate cake. Really good

The restaurant is in an old home in old town Frisco. The service was attentive and good. The food was very good. They have some unique spins on some dishes but it was nice. My prime rib was tender and flavored nicely. They home bake bread and it was nice and fresh and good. We had the shrimp for an appetizer and it is nicely displayed and cooked perfectly. The order of onion rings reminds one that we are in Texas and they do everything larger! I recommend giving this one a try.

Amazing service, food, and atmosphere. I made a reservation a week in advance and while dining, Randy, the owner, came to our table. He remembered our phone call and asked which one of us he had spoken to. I told him over the phone that we would be celebrating my Dad's birthday. After we ate dinner, they brought us a delicious chocolate cake with candles and a plate that said "happy birthday" with my Dad's name. They also gave us a nice bottle of wine with a custom sticker saying "happy birthday *Dad's name*". They were so amazing and sweet, I'd definitely go back and recommend it !!

The host confirmed the reservation right away and even sent me a confirmation text, followed by a reminder message the day before. This was a planned group reservation that was confirmed multiple times. On Tuesday when I made the reservation, I was also told it would be Bollywood and Tollywood night, which was one of the reasons our group chose this place. When we arrived, they were playing almost exclusively South Indian songs. We had to ask the live singer four times before he finally played a couple of Bollywood Hindi songs. This was disappointing because the music theme we were told to expect did not match what was actually happening. When we arrived, we were told our table was upstairs. I explained that our reservation was confirmed for downstairs by the DJ area. The host acknowledged that the downstairs table had been given to another party and claimed they tried calling me. I immediately took out my phone and asked when they called and whether they left a voicemail. There were zero missed calls and no voicemail. I asked multiple times and only received apologies. The reality is, no one called me, and our confirmed table was simply given away. We were then seated near the entrance with people constantly walking in and out. For a group our size, this was a poor seating choice and set the tone for the night. Service was extremely slow from the start. It took about 20 minutes just to get water. It took around 25 minutes for the server to take drink orders. At that point, I walked to the bar myself to order a drink because nothing was happening. About 35 minutes later, the server came back to take food orders. I ordered a single appetizer, cashew chicken. After one hour of waiting, I asked about it and was told it was getting ready. Another 30 minutes passed, still nothing. After roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes total, I was told the appetizer had been given to another table by mistake and that they could reorder it, but it would take another 30 minutes. This was for one appetizer, not even an entrée. Several people in our group had similar delays with both drinks and food. There was no real accountability. No manager came over to explain what happened. There was no attempt to comp anything or make the situation right. We were expected to accept slow service, multiple mistakes, and poor communication. To top it off, an 18 percent gratuity was added automatically despite the poor service, and the drinks were watered down. The entire group left disappointed. This was supposed to be a fun group night and turned into frustration. I would not recommend this place for group reservations, and we will not be returning.

We walked into the bar 90 minutes before kickoff and found a table in the middle of the bar that could accommodate our party and had good viewing of the screens. As we went to sit down, a man approached us and told us that the table we were sitting at was for some "regulars" and asked us to move. The table had no sign on it that it was reserved and this man did not identify himself as an owner or manager of the establishment. Choosing to take the high road, I moved our group to another table that could accommodate our party that was off to the side. Sure enough, the "regulars" came rolling in shortly before kickoff to their "unreserved" reserved table. This is just bad business. And discourages people who are not "regulars" from coming to the bar. I regularly attend a Chicago Bears bar in Los Angeles where I live and have never had such issues. There are no unspoken "reserved" tables for "regulars." It's completely first come, first serve as it should be. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Located in Frisco, Dad Jokes Cheesyburger is worth the drive from Dallas County. The restaurant's indoor seating is very small, but the outdoor seating when the weather is nice (March or October) adds to the laid-back vibe that caters to everyone from families to hardcore burger lovers. 1 Star. Food - Dad Jokes Cheesyburger caught my attention because of the OK Burger. This popular burger smashes onions directly into the patty. Not only would I repeat the drive, but I would also invite my friends to join me and for some tasty bites and jokes. I hope they don't get EXHAUSTED. 1 Star.
