I met up with a few friends for brunch today. The place was highly reviewed so we thought we'd give it a try, unfortunately this was a very disappointing experience. The restaurant was small, not too busy, w/ cute decor. When I arrived, I found my friends seated in the very back near the kitchen and restroom, which was my first issue with the experience. Since I was late, I did not make a fuss of it because I was unsure if all the other tables were full when my friends arrived. For appetizers, they ordered the deviled eggs, bacon and Brussels sprouts, all of which they enjoyed. For our entrees, a friend of mine and I ordered the avocado toast with no egg. Unfortunately, they removed the egg along with everything else so we were served cold "toast" and avocado (sadly, my friend actually had bits of browned avocado and just chose to not eat her food at all). Since we could not find our server, I asked another server that was nearby for a piece of hot toast along with the additional toppings that were not added, so I could try and rectify the situation myself, which he kindly brought. The issue with this was that he only brought a piece of hot toast and I had to ask for the ingredients again. Sadly, after all that, it was still very below subpar, flavorless, and worst of all, it was 18$. The home fries were delicious though, even though they weren't hot. Another friend ordered the burger and requested it cooked well done (since the menu said it is typically cooked medium), she even let the server know that she wanted it that way bc medium would upset her stomach. The burger came out and looked beautiful, with all the right fixins', however it was cooked medium. Once again, our server was nowhere to be found, so we asked a nearby server to have it remade which he did. When they brought it out again, we were assured it was made well done, however when she cut it, it was in fact medium. They kindly remade it, and the third time was a charm. They were kind enough to even Comp it and the chef even came out as well, which was nice. Another friend ordered the lobster roll, apparently when they first ordered appetizers, but when it took so long to arrive, the server let us know she had not put the order in because she thought it was an entree. This was an honest mistake/ miscommunication, this also occurred at the beginning of our experience so it was not a big deal. Despite the fact that 3 of the 4 of us did not enjoy our food or had issues, one of my friends DID enjoy her food, so we will take that as a win (especially since she's pregnant so we really needed her to enjoy her meal)!!! I understand and appreciate the service and hospitality industry, but with that being said, I want to feel valued and appreciated as a guest. This whole experience was truly upsetting. It seemed like no matter how clearly we communicated our orders and requests, they were disregarded. I also understand that mistakes happen, as do miscommunications but that fact that it was constant, just showed a lack of care for us as guests. And to top all of this off, our server that was really not very attentive, and was hard to find at times. I do appreciate the restaurants attempts to fix the issues but unfortunately the amount of errors is something I can't not ignore. I can wholeheartedly say I/we will never return to this restaurant. read more

Would love to give this place another chance! We walked in and weren't greeted. Our food was good, but the lobster roll was like two Hawaiian rolls very small for the price. Our male server left never said goodbye and introduced us to the new waitress She on the other hand was super Friendly read more

Your restaurant search can officially end here! If you're looking for a place that combines the welcoming atmosphere of your neighborhood "Cheers" with upscale dining, exceptional food, and outstanding service, WB's Table is the answer. My family has been coming here almost since they opened, and it has truly become a home away from home. The food is consistently phenomenal, the craft cocktails are delicious, the service is excellent, and the team members are always friendly, engaging, and welcoming. The owner is also one of the most genuine and caring people I know, and that hospitality is reflected throughout the entire restaurant. WB's Table is also incredibly family-friendly. They offer plenty of great options for kids, and the team always goes out of their way to make younger guests feel welcome, comfortable, and well cared for. From happy hour with girlfriends and date nights to family dinners, leisurely lunches, incredible brunches, and exceptional catering, WB's Table has been our go-to spot for years. It continues to impress us every time, and I know it will only keep getting better. Do not miss the opportunity to experience this amazing local establishment. Make a reservation, tell them I sent you, and prepare to find your new favorite restaurant! read more

Nice little restaurant- more bar than restaurant seating. Cuban sandwich was just okay. Burgers & French toast was good but we felt like it was pricey for what you got. read more

Food and service was great! Have been for brunch and dinner. Both times did not disappoint.

Meal started off good. We enjoyed the roasted brussel sprouts. They were cooked and seasoned well. The portion was good for a sharable item. Overall, the entree portions for the two items that we had were a bit small. I had the pork tenderloin. It was under seasoned and dry. Glad there was pleanty of mustard sauce on the plate. Wilted spinach was overcooked as well. My wife and daughter wanted to split the burger. This is something they have done often in other restaurants. At least they feel like they had a generous helping of fries. They each received half a piece of wilted lettuce and a quater of a red onion. It is hard to believe that this burger was voted "Best in Frisco 2024." The embiance was nice. We had great ecpectations when we were seated and ordered. We cannot complain about our service. It was memorable. read more

WB's Kitchen + Bar - We started with the Brussels sprouts, omg these were fresh, crispy and delish - Cocktail Bars Near Me - Frisco, Texas

From the moment we walked in we were welcomed. This beautifully decorated neighborhood restaurant was a great find. The chef came to our table and introduced himself and checked on us. My husband had the pork tenderloin with poblano grits and I had the genovese with basil pesto cream sauce. The sauce was not overwhelmed with the basil and a perfect creaminess that clung to the pasta. My husband also loved the pork tenderloin and that is saying something. Great little neighborhood haunt. We'll be back to try those burgers! read more

Food was fantastic and served in a comfortable and inviting environment. Service was outstanding - we were warmly welcomed by all of the staff and our server (Christian) was attentive and prompt. We started with fresh oysters and cocktails - both were delicious. At our server's suggestion, we ordered lamb bolognese and the smoked prime rib. Both were wonderful and the prime rib was tender and tasty, the queen's cut of the prime rib was so generous that I brought half of it home. For dessert, we shared a strawberry rhubarb crisp with lavender ice cream. Perfect ending to a perfect meal - we cannot wait to return with friends in the near future. Thank you for a fabulous evening! read more

Excellent food, great service and good drinks. We didn't take pictures but this time I got the salmon and my husband got the burger again (he loves it). We started with the yummy spinach dip. Everything is so good and everyone here is so friendly. We sat at the bar this time and the bartender was amazing. I wish I could remember her name, she was super friendly and outgoing. Food was absolutely stellar, that includes dessert! Small and intimate which is nice, though a bit loud when packed. But the service and food far out weight that. Recommend a reservation. read more

Food and ambiance were great. This is a gem for our city. Make a reservation due to small-ish seating capacity. Chef trained/worked at Brennan's line of New Orleans restaurants, which is evident in every bite, the beautiful plating, and excellent service. We always get a take-with meal for dinner later that week! read more

The food is phenomenal! Even the water tasted great. The prime rib is the best prime rib we've ever had. It was just a thick hunk of super tender meat, cooked to a perfect medium. The creme brûlée was very similar to Alton Brown's recipe, which I think is the best creme brûlée. The lamb bolognese had perfectly cooked Al dente noodles. Really just food at its finest. The interior is quaint and we were lucky to go when there weren't a lot of people there. If all the tables were full, I imagine it'd be quite loud in there, but the ambiance was perfect while we were there, even the music they played was great. The only and I mean ONLY complaint I have is when you scan the QR code on the receipt to pay, the auto calculated suggested gratuity is based off of the total, which INCLUDES tax. It's customary to tip based off the subtotal, why on earth would you tip on tax? I have no problem tipping the proper amount, but there is no way I am tipping on tax. Keep an eye out on your bill so you don't fall for that. read more

What a line up for Easter brunch! Food was excellent, with some dishes comparable with some of the best I've had anywhere. They adapted their menu so we could do a tasting of many of the great specials they had. This place is a true diamond in the rough. High class food, reasonable prices in a casual setting. Finally had a chance to check this place out and it did not disappoint. We had reservations and were promptly sat upon arrival. The space is intimate but bright. It gives the restaurant a welcoming vibe. The staff were super attentive and friendly. For apps we ordered the Meatballs, Candied Bacon + Deviled Eggs, and oysters. All of which were amazing and definitely would order again. For my entree I ordered the lamb Bolognese and it was to die for. Great seasoning and hearty. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Others at my table got the burger (which I will be going back for), the mushroom risotto (which they said was amazing), and the scallops (which they said was amazing as well). So no one complained about the food so that speaks a lot. I highly recommend checking it out. This time of year (Christmas) they have some speciality drinks you are sure to enjoy. read more

I won't be back. Let's start with that. I came for a business lunch meeting. My friend suggested this place and I went online to read about the restaurant and read about the chef being on the show "Chopped" and i was excited to try the "Gourmet food in casual setting" vibe. But sadly it didn't turn out what I thought it would be. It was quite disappointing. First let's start with the fact that when the candied bacon deviled eggs came out- the waitress herself caught it....There was a piece of hair attached to the food as she was placing it down on the table. GROSSSSSS! That was not a good start to our meal. She went back but I am not too sure if they really "switched" out the eggs or simply give us the same plate. No one knows...but no apology. Just bought out another plate....but when we tried it, It was SO bland, lacking flavors. I tasted deviled eggs from Whole Foods that tasted better than that. I do not recommend. And the bacon was just "OK" it didn't wow me. That plate was $16 for 4 little halves of eggs. See the photo. Crazy!!! She ordered the Scottish salmon (the chef explained it was "WILD FARM RAISED" salmon go do your own research on that. I will say that the fish was cooked perfectly. But again. The dish lacked flavors. It needs seasoning!!! That dish was $20. The chef owner came to talk to us about the salmon being "wild farm raised" but he seems cold and not interested. Maybe he's having a bad day but he looks like maybe he's not a people person. But then I realized later on he had a really great convo with the other table... I ordered the shrimp with grits. The sauce on my dish was tasty. Shrimp was ok. The grits was bland and lack seasoning again. Nothing spectacular at all. It was $24 and it was definitely lunch portion. We skipped desserts. Overall, it's overpriced for what you are getting. As a bonafide foodie who traveled all over the world. I get what he's trying to do with this concept. But honestly it was executed correctly. I don't feel that my lunch was worth $40. I saw the crowd that was dining in... and It makes sense why the food is bland. As it was mostly senior citizens. But I don't think this place is for anyone looking for a REAL gourmet experience. Oh you are going to PAY gourmet prices- you just don't get the quality of food the price demands..... skip it. Drive down to legacy west for lunch! For half of that price! read more

Always enjoy our meal and cocktails (or mocktails) at WBs. Great flavors in all the dishes and something for

Expensive, especially for the portions. Way too pricey given it's a neighborhood restaurant!

DELICIOUS. Had the lobster poor boy special and it was SO GOOD. Husband had Wagu burger and loved it

The evening began just like any other - "Where do you want to go eat?" Thankfully, I had WB's in my hip pocket. Trying to move my wife off her Rainman-like creature of habit mentality brings a degree of risk. Thankfully, she didn't feel like fighting me. And she will be the first to admit that she was glad I "forced" her into something new. The deviled eggs were well liked. The entrees for our group included the herb roasted chicken, burger, nachos, and prime rib. For the record, any time I see prime rib on a menu I order it just to see if I'll ever return to that restaurant. Needless to say, it was prepared exactly to specification, with a perfect balance of tenderness coupled with the au jus sauce. My wife, having sampled every plate on the table, couldn't stop raving about the overall quality of every entree. Needless to say, I now have a new "safe" restaurant to add to our repertoire. I hate to add it as a side note, but the service was spot-on and our waitress was a perfect blend of attentive without being disruptive. If I lived in Frisco, WB's would be our local go-to spot. Instead, we'll break out of the bubble and visit often. read more

We have been going to WB's for several years and every time we go we love it! The food was 10/10. You can tell that the chefs thoughtfully plan their menu. The restaurant is gorgeous and still very comfortable. I was surprised how expensive those truffle fries were. They were as expensive as some entrees. The salmon was amazing - crispy on the outside and a perfect medium inside. While the food was great the menu is pretty limited and all of the food items are very rich. I'm not sure if it changed seasonally but I would definitely come back for a nice lunch date or happy hour again. read more

Excellent neighborhood restaurant. Service abd food quality is great and it has the best burger in Frisco.

I don't understand the positive reviews. Took a few people to WB's. Horrible! Burger was overpriced, way overcooked (asked for med rare and got way over well done), and no better in quality than any avg fast food. Even the fries were McDonalds caliber-American cheese tasted like cheap plastic. Appetizers (meatballs and calamari) were coarse and dry, service was ridiculously bad. Even when we entered, no one greeted us, told us to wait or sit-just stared at us. We had reservations and the place was empty, and the female waitress said she had only one table available for us and it would be tight. It was clear we were not wanted for whatever reason. My crew didn't eat any of their food minus a few bites. Mine actually made me sick. Just wanted to give my thoughts. Wont be headed back there again. read more
